A positive approach by staff from top to all levels of employees. The most noticeable feature about the surroundings the cleanliness and pleasant smell - not usual in care homes. The more challenging wing is again clean and wholesome smelling.

Fantastic caring staff. Make uou feel like you are part of a family. If they don't hear from you thry will comecand check you are ok. My husband enjoyed their company when they came in for a chat . The food was good and very good portion sizes. My husband was worried about going into a care home for the first time, but was soon put at ease.

Care home has always kept me up to date with things and cares for my mum who has dementia but is otherwise relatively well. The home is modern and built for purpose wi the modern amenities and an active activity program for the residents.

I arrived and signed in. Access was easy and the hallway area clean and tidy. I got on to the floor to see my sister. As always a warm welcome by the staff on duty. I was in time to sit with her for lunch. After we chatted and reminisced.

Brilliant staff fantastic food great rooms spacious staff thoughtful and caring and will listen to you all time also funny. Which helps looking to coming back again for restbite. Graham

Fairways has been brilliant with our father diagnosed with vascular dementia we were struggling at home to keep him safe, clean and taking his medication properly. They are brilliant with him he is clean safe and very happy in the home.

My mum has been a resident for the past 2.5 years. She has been well cared for and very happy. It has had a new manager who has made significant changes to enhance to day to day running of the Fairways and implemented many changes in a short period of time, taking into consideration the residence's and his teams day to day activities, happiness, comfort and safety. His forward thinking & innovative leadership is refreshing especially in today's world. Relatives are kept upto date, engaged and included in everything, with feedback onborded and actioned. I take so much comfort and peace of mind from the care and support given to my mum. She is treated with dignity and respect and the team strive to make her happy and content, they are knowledgeable and professional & nothing is too much trouble. The whole team are a credit to MHA. High recommended.

Since Dad has moved to the home he has been treated with dignity and care. Staff are always so pleased to see visitors and help with any concerns. They have been so supportive to me as well with the hard transition of moving Dad to the home. We have regular catch up meetings where Dad's care is discussed so I know what is happening.

My mother and family celebrated her 100th birthday while she was a resident at the care home. Because of numerous logistical challenges, the family was undecided what form the celebration should take. I discussed this issue with the care home management. Unprompted, they offered to arrange the whole event. I cannot praise highly enough the way in which this was managed. On the day itself, the home manager and another staff member decorated the room beautifully and served up the delicious Sunday lunch with obvious pleasure to twenty of us who had come from Australia, Thailand, America and the UK to celebrate this auspicious occasion. I wish to thank again both the home manager and the other staff member for their kindness and enthusiasm thus ensuring that the birthday was truly special.

My husband has issues with his health the past few months (more than usual) the staff have always kept me informed and have updated me after a doctor has visited. I have had to contact a consultant regarding his main issues, so between us all he hopefully will be getting the best care. He has lived at The Fairways since September 2020, although it's a long journey for me to visit, he is settled and happy here. Has joined in the activities when he's been able to, and has had some lovely trips out.

I am very happy with the care my husband receives. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food is good and my husband who has a good appetite is always offered second helpings .The room are kept clean although it must be very difficult sometimes.

My mum has been a resident at The Fairways care home for almost three years. As a family, we have been very happy with the care she has received during that time. The home is very clean and well-maintained, it is light and cheerful. The staff are kind, caring, and supportive. They are very respectful and understanding of Mum's little ways. The food is varied and very good quality. Health and medication care is very good and a doctor is called promptly when required. We always feel welcome as a family and are kept informed about all that is happening regarding Mum's welfare which is so reassuring. Mum has thrived since she came into the Fairways and is settled and content. She has a lifelong faith so having a visiting chaplain and weekly services has been a real solace for her. Mum enjoys taking part in the varying activities - arts and crafts and playing board games etc. As a family, we can thoroughly recommend The Fairways as an excellent care home.

The home is kept very clean the staff are all friendly and kind and my sister has thrived since she came to Fairways. My sister enjoys the increased number of activities and seems to get on with the other residents including some on the dementia floor.

Would like Mum to easily go to the garden with visitors. (have access without help). Staff treat Mum with respect and time. When family ask any questions they are always answered and help is always willing. Mum loves The Fairways.

Since my mum has been at the Fairways (18 months) she has really enjoyed being there. She has made friends and joined in with all the entertainment and loves being looked after by all the wonderful and caring staff. I never have to worry about my mum now as I know she is in the best place and the most important thing to me is that she is happy and laughs a lot.

The Fairways has a good atmosphere. Residents are well cared for, and requests from relatives on behalf of residents are responded to. Carers know that Mum loves music, and DVDs of her favourite musicians are put on for her. Mum has a special wheelchair that reclines to keep her safe, and carers help to move her between the wheelchair and a recliner in the lounge so that she can be part of the community and be with other residents for meals. I very much appreciate the care shown to Mum.

Mum has been a resident for over 4 years and has dementia. She is well cared for and enjoys a wide range of activities thanks to the excellent staff. The home is clean and a good variety of food is served to the residents. The staff are very friendly and hardworking and although busy, always have time for a chat and an update. There is an attached bistro with a courtyard garden where we love to take Mum for a coffee when we visit. The care home staff also run wonderful events in the bistro from time to time to which family and friends are invited.

My mother has been a resident for over two years in Fairways Chippenham. The staff at all levels are caring and friendly. They are very good at keeping me informed of my mother's well-being. Also, the food is excellent -I often eat in the bistro myself when visiting! They provide a wide range of activities for the residents. I cannot thank them enough, knowing my mother is well looked after and safe.

My mother has dementia. She had a live-in carer but was unhappy and needed more company. Her life has improved substantially since moving to The Fairways. Even though her memory has gone she enjoys the company of the other residents. Most of all the attention, friendship and entertainment provided by the carers themselves have meant she is now much happier. The facilities are clean and modern, the food is good and the cost is very reasonable compared to other providers of a similar standard. We looked at four care homes and Fairways was easily the best.
