View Full Details of BelamacandaAll staff are friendly and willing. Our son is very happy and seems to be popular with the staff.
MY sister appeared to be very happy; she usually is. She is well cared for and has a very good relationship with the staff. The staff are very friendly and inviting, and always find the time to attend to my sister's needs. Her room and general facilities are clean and tidy.
My elderly brother moved here from a larger residential home where he had lived quite happily for many years, but which no longer suited him and where he was displaying signs of distress. Moving to Belamacanda has turned out to be the best thing for him. Its smaller setting with fewer residents with complicated needs, gives it a more homely feel to where he was before, and now my brother is much happier and calmer. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, and makes us welcome when we visit.
Excellent care, staff are always friendly. Residents needs well catered for.
My son sometimes has challenging behaviour and the staff have coped with this well. I am pleased with the professionalism they have shown. I would have liked more success in encouraging my son to engage with other residents and activities in the home but realise how stubborn he can be. He says he is happy at Belamacanda.
We have always been impressed with the care and service. Thank you.
I am completely happy with the care that my daughter receives. The care home is clean and my daughter receives all the care that she needs, both physically and mentally. The staff are very understanding and helpful.
I became a resident last month, I have been made to feel welcome, all the carers and other staff are so supportive, I feel safe here. Moving to Clacton from Braintree was something I had to do as I wanted a fresh start, plus with my mobility problems, I know that I will get the help I need. Thank you Belamacanda.
My son has been a resident in Belamacanda for about a month; he is very happy there. The first time I visited him, there was a very friendly welcome from both residents and staff, superbly equipped and very clean. I quickly got the distinct impression it was like a big family all living under the same roof. Excellent home.
Our relative has always received excellent care, assistance and respect. The staff are always friendly, caring and efficient. Residents are treated as individuals with activities tailored to fulfil their interests and capabilities. Overall, an excellent establishment.
Before I first came here I was walking around before I broke my leg. Now I am in a wheelchair. The staff support me with my care. I get to go out when I want. I get to enjoy my hobbies such as motorbikes and watching the dance group. I also like watching boxing. Belamacanda is my home.
When I went to Belamacanda last everyone seemed quite happy.
We have always been extremely happy with the service provided to our relative. The staff at Belamacanda are always friendly, helpful and committed to providing a good standard of care to the residents.
I came to Belamacanda because my mother and father were in hospital at the time unwell. I am very grateful to all the carers and the senior staff who are devoted to me and my wellbeing as well as the many others who are residents here. They are devoted, kind, caring, loyal, persistent, willing, and are kind, sensitive and work hard to ensure that we as residents are provided for in the very best ways possible. I am glad to be here.
I have always liked it here. I am part of the furniture here. I am well cared for. I get on well with the staff.
I have lived in Belamacanda for the last 2 years. I have had plenty of good time, especially under the current circumstance. Staff have gone out of their way to make life as easy as possible. Food is good, but there are always other options available if we don't like what is on the menu, you can always get takeaways, there are plenty of restaurants in the area that deliver. The room I have is big and plenty of room to move around.
My son is deaf and blind and is treated with wonderful care. He is able to make models and is supported in all that he does, is treated with great respect and help, he does not leave his room much, but the staff always visit him to see what he is doing and to encourage him. He is very happy and smiling; which I think this is a good sign that the whole setup is working well; when he needs help it is always there. I cannot praise the staff enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Love staff, food good, love games. I have done pottery. I go to a day centre and sing.
I like living here and I am a DJ, I love to do discos and mow the lawn. Staff are lovely and I have made lots of friends. Belamacanda is my home.
I love the home, carers and everything about it. There are lots of activities and days out.
