View Full Details of The Manse Residential Care HomeThe team at The Manse are incredibly caring and thoughtful. They are always helpful, considerate, and take the time to truly involve my father in daily life and activities. From the very beginning, they've been extremely supportive with all my questions and concerns, always responding with kindness and professionalism. The home itself is very safe, exceptionally clean, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I'm deeply grateful for the outstanding care my father receives here - truly a five-star service in every way.
My friend John is a resident. I visited him and decided that I wanted to be a friend to the other residents. As a friend, I sing karaoke for them and with them once a month at my own expense - as a volunteer. The staff are really friendly, patient, loving and kind. I'm not one for giving faint praise, so please believe me when I say the residents are very well cared for, and I've made some new friends as a consequence of everyone being so nice.
A family friend - Peter - came to The Manse in April 2025. I try to visit as much as I can. I find the staff very kind and helpful. It is always clean and I know Peter enjoys all the meal. I don't think he could have a better place to live. There are four of us who try to keep in touch as much as possible. I know Peter likes living there. Thank you so much for all your kindness to Peter.
I attended the BBQ today, and it was lovely to see the residents enjoying the outside space and making memories.
The care my family member has received has been exceptional. All staff are professional, kind and caring. The events organised are inclusive & fun - both for residents & family/friends too. I have no complaints whatsoever. Nitin, Puspah & team should be proud of themselves & the community they've created at The Manse.
Very lovely atmosphere, staff members are very welcoming and fulfil all our needs. Couldn't wish for anything more for our nan, food and vibes are amazing. I love all events as they are very lovely and bring everyone together.
My Dad is a hard one to crack and has always been against being in a home. I am amazed how easily the move to a home has been. It is all thanks to the friendly team that has welcomed my Dad. Their professionalism and care made my Dads first few days an easy transition. They have picked up on his interests and values . Using his hobby of Karaoke and love of music to connect him into the home. By allowing him to take regular stage at The Manse. Dad loves his regular meals and his time relaxing in the conservatory. He will also enjoy a little tipple , which shows a sense of normalcy. I love seeing the variety of activities offered . That the carers obviously put a great deal of thought and effort to keep the residents happy and occupied. Living so far away it is a great weight off my mind to know my Dad is so well cared for and is content in his new home. Thank you for all that take care of my Dad.
The Manse were wonderful to my father and always encouraged him, looked after him and treated him with respect and humour. I would recommend the Manse as it has the correct mix of care, professionalism and home comfort. The residents are well looked after enjoying activities, on site cooked meals and lots of interaction with staff. The rooms are a good size and are cleaned regularly. My father was reluctant to go into care after some falls, but told me it had been the right decision and he felt happy and safe. I could visit regularly and always felt welcomed. Thank you for looking after my dad so well.
My mum has been living at The Manse over a year now and the staff have been very kind to her when she has had a bad day.
The care here is amazing. The staff are lovely, thoughtful and considerate, most have been here long term and get to know the residents on a personal level. Everyone, from cleaners, cooks, management and carers have been amazing. Lots of activities and entertainment to keep the residents occupied...... it feels like an extended family. Would recommend this carer home with confidence.
I have been staying at this care home since early January, and am very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and willingness to help when necessary.
I've lived here a long time, I like it here. I look after the garden.
Mum's been here over a year now and she seems to like it, sometimes she has her down days but the staff are very understanding towards her and the other residents. Really pleased with the care mum receives at The Manse Residential Care Home. Thank you very much.
I do love being here. The staff are very kind and courteous. I have no complaints at all. Everyone seems happy but this not the first time here for me. I love everyone, I have no complaints. Everyone is very lovable.
Staff are very attentive, helpful and caring.
Attending the August 2024 BBQ. Food very good. Good atmosphere. Well run. A good time.
Just attended The Manse summer BBQ. The food was amazing and the staff made sure all the residents were engaged and involved. Really impressed by how caring the staff were and what a happy event it was.
Fantastic. Very good with bringing the family together. Veery supportive. The BBQ was beautiful, having all residents, relatives and staff together as one. Very kid-friendly.
Beautiful environment, staff all happy and friendly, everywhere was clean, lovely day, good music, yummy food, staff were very helpful.
I have experience of many care homes, and The Manse is very impressive for its cleanliness, friendly staff, love and care of residents, and for all it does to help its users to be stimulated, intellectually, physically and spiritually. I really also appreciate the light decor, the quiet ambience and other little touches which ensure the dignity of its residents. This is no easy achievement, and will be the result of its management setting the example through the staff, who are readily available. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Manse and its team.
