A wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of Frognal House and its beautiful grounds. The staff were informative, enthusiastic and friendly, as always. The character dress was a lovely touch. I feel lucky that my mum resides in such a beautiful and historic local property. Thank you for all your hard work putting together such a memorable day.
Mummy has been so well treated and all the team in Reminiscente are remarkable humans. We feel like part of a family. Mummy's cousin visited from Miami Florida yesterday and he was so impressed. Its the level of care. I know Mummy is in safe hands which means so many to us all. Thank you from our hearts. Mummy is shown such support, kindness bordering on love.
I just wanted to comment on how wonderful the events are each day. The activities provided throughout the day are great and so varied. The residents are very lucky to have such stimulation. They are encouraged to participate, which is hugely important for their well-being.
Mothers Day afternoon tea was excellent. The entertainment team went above and beyond. The music entertainer was first class. Thank you to all for making mothers day special.
My 80 year old mum has been a permanent resident for 2 months moving from her own home into the assisted living part of Frognal. All the staff were exceptional with the move, providing advice and being patient as the move took some time to persuade my Mum. Facilities are excellent - gardens are stunning, café/bar in the communal area means a drink and snack are always available to residents and visitors. Additional lounge/kitchen spaces on other floors are beautifully decorated and great spaces to get away for some privacy if needed. Bedrooms are very clean and modern. Mum enjoys the daily activities, entertainment and trips in minibus and has made some good friends already in other residents and staff. She very much enjoys the food and says all the staff are very kind and good fun. Staff have provided further information re Mum's care and needs in detail when asked and if there is anything that I need to be made aware of, an email or call has been received from one of the team.
My father began his Frognal experience as a respite guest in November 2024 (due to a back problem) but following a fall & subsequent traumatic hospital stay it was agreed that Frognal would be an ideal home for him to be safe & well cared for. We are extremely pleased & grateful to all the Carers & Staff at Frognal for making my father feel 'at home'. Thank you
My mum is extremely happy at Frognal House - I ask her every time I visit and she always says she really likes it. Initially she didn't want to join in the activities this has completely changed and she is joining in with lots of things now. All of the staff are very caring and kind and mum is well looked after.
We had a very enjoyable afternoon at the summer fete, we were warmly welcomed by a very happy team even though my mother wasn't well enough that day to attend. I am so looking forward to the next event because I know mum would have enjoyed the band and the party atmosphere. Well done to everyone who worked hard!
My mum has been a resident at Frognal for 2 years now and has received a very good level of care throughout. I attended the summer BBQ this month which was very enjoyable with plenty of food and drink and some pleasant entertainment. My mum really enjoyed the day. It was great to see everyone having fun in the sun, the event was a big success and very inclusive. This care home was recommended to me by a colleague and I have also recommended it to friends of mine as I feel it provides a sense of home and belonging for my mum and I'm happy with the overall service available which is good value for money when compared to other options.
Avery staff always make a lot of effort to make their events enjoyable. Mum and I (and my sister) enjoyed the music, food, etc. The weather was lovely but it would be great if the canopy could be replaced as the direct sun was quite hot.
Despite my reservations about being in a residential home environment, I enjoyed the experience. Although not able to have much conversation with other residents I enjoyed the company and conversation of the many members of staff who were always willing to have a chat. I didn't participate in the activities except a bit of flower arranging and I enjoyed the piano player. It's a disappointment that the trips out whilst I was there to the Lavender Fields did not happen. Also, it's a shame the new facilities upstairs in the new lounge, verandah and tea-making facilities were not available when guests visited.
My mother has had two admissions for holiday cover, before becoming a resident. This really helped the transition. The staff are all lovely, attentive, caring and always supportive. My mother loves the food and the environment is not that of an institution but of a home. The staff provide daily entertainment which is varied and appropriate.
Had a fantastic Easter Extravaganza day at Frognal House Care Home. Raffle, excellent singer and hot cross buns were all part of the day. Not seen my aunt dance for a long time, but we couldn’t stop her. She and our family had a great afternoon, all helped by the warmth of the care staff. Well done Frognal, here’s to the next one.
My grandmother's care at Frognal is amazing, the residents, relatives, and staff are like one big family. The home is extremely clean. The staff are extremely kind, caring, and attentive. The residents are kept safe and very well cared for. I can't compliment this care home enough.
I came here for two weeks respite. When I viewed the home to see if it was right for me I met the client liaison manager, he was so welcoming, warm and kind-hearted. Perfect for what I was looking for and he didn't disappoint. I had a great two weeks here, enjoyed it all. The staff are amazing, every one of them. Such a great vibe in the home, everyone is so happy. Thanks to the client liaison manager and all the lovely staff.
My uncle has been here for a few weeks. So far, he has found Frognal to be very friendly and welcoming. The carers make the environment lively and fun but are also very professional. Nothing is too much trouble, and the residents are treated with great respect by all of the staff. I would recommend Frognal to anyone looking for a good care home.
My husband who is 93 and has vascular dementia has stayed with you twice and been really happy. All the staff seem to care and the atmosphere is calm and happy. He loves to join in all the activities and read the daily newspaper and programme.
We selected Frognal House for our mum having visited many others in the area. Whilst I'm sure they all would have cared for her well, the staff, facilities and the friendly & genuine caring environment at Frognal really stood out for us. Once she moved in we immediately knew we'd made the right choice for her. The staff made sure she settled in well, the care was exceptional, the activities provided were incredible, and we & other visitors were always made welcome. It really is impossible to find any fault or criticism. Knowing how well she was being looked after and how happy she was there was a huge relief for all her family and I can't thank the staff and management enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending Frognal House.
This was the first time I used Frognal House Care Home for my brother's respite care. I found the staff very helpful and professional when we were settling my brother into the Dementia unit. My brother is usually very reluctant to go into respite care but he seemed happier when I spoke to him on the telephone when I was away. He seemed better orientated and much less anxious than usual. When we arrived to take him home he was happier and better orientated than is usually the case. I found the staff very warm and caring. They had clearly built up a very positive relationship with my brother. I felt that they understood him well and had made a great effort to get to know him. I could see that they liked and appreciated my brother's personality despite the severity of his illness. I very much appreciated and admired the staff, their skills and their overall approach which is a great credit to the service.
