Our second visit was to do a needs assessment. Another wonderful member of staff, made Mum & I very welcome and assured that she would be well taken care of.
The morning we moved Mum in was full of friendly faces & introductions, we knew we had left her in very good hands.
We video called Mum whilst we were away she was extremely happy, making friends etc. Family members visiting loved the vibe, decor and spoke very highly of staff members.Collection day was very touching as lots of staff & residents came to give Mum a hug & see her off. Mum was very happy to hear that we will definitely take her back to stay at Frognal House.
I feel we have freedom to go away again without worrying. Wonderful. Thank you

My dad was at Frognal house for about a year and then he needed nursing care, so he had to move. While at Frognal House he went slowly downhill. This may not be specific to this place, but there were not enough staff to help with aiding the residents with walking and staying active. When dad tried to go for a walk outside he was discouraged as there were not enough staff to supervise him. So he sat in a chair and got slowly less mobile and less active and then he had a stroke. The regular staff at FH were mostly good and helpful however the management team were evasive, would meet with you, but then nothing would happen afterwards. Emails were ignored and went unanswered for 2-3 weeks and when you chased you might get answer. Plus, it is a residential home, and so only really offers light care. They have recently had a refurb, and so the common rooms are very nice and the dining area is much nicer than it was.
We encourage residents to remain active and independent, with opportunities to get involved in activities and spend time outdoors where appropriate. We're sorry to hear that we felt your Dad...

We appreciate your comments about communication. We place a strong emphasis on keeping families informed and maintaining open , regular communication, so we're sorry to hear that this was not always your experience. We will ensure your feedback is shared with the team. We wish you and your family all the best.
Moving our dad to Frognal has been such a positive experience for the whole family. From our first visit we knew it was where we wanted Dad to stay. The staff are incredibly attentive and everyone knew dads name from day one. Many members of staff stop to chat and make ourselves feel very welcome....
The rooms are immaculately clean and very comfortable. We are encouraged to bring pieces of furniture and personal pictures and photographs to make the bedroom feel individual.
There are always activities for the residents to enjoy and participate in.

The staff are so kind and my sister has settled and is happy which is the most important thing.

This is a lovely home, it has the most impressive grounds of a care home I've seen. There is a real sense of community - as you walk in the living area is buzzing with energy (there's even a grand piano!).
