We selected Frognal House for our mum having visited many others in the area. Whilst I'm sure they all would have cared for her well, the staff, facilities and the friendly & genuine caring environment at Frognal really stood out for us. Once she moved in we immediately knew we'd made the right choice for her. The staff made sure she settled in well, the care was exceptional, the activities provided were incredible, and we & other visitors were always made welcome. It really is impossible to find any fault or criticism. Knowing how well she was being looked after and how happy she was there was a huge relief for all her family and I can't thank the staff and management enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending Frognal House.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review and for all of your kind words. We are very proud of the care we provide at Frognal and we are so pleased we have made your mum's experience such a pleasurable one. Your mum was a wonderful resident and never failed to make the staff...
When we arrived to take him home he was happier and better orientated than is usually the case. I found the staff very warm and caring. They had clearly built up a very positive relationship with my brother. I felt that they understood him well and had made a great effort to get to know him. I could see that they liked and appreciated my brother's personality despite the severity of his illness. I very much appreciated and admired the staff, their skills and their overall approach which is a great credit to the service.

I just wanted to write a quick review as to my experience with Frognal so far with my Grandad being a new permanent resident and I honestly cannot fault anything. The staff in all teams and areas of the home are always happy to go above and beyond and anytime I visit I am always made to feel so welcome and at home, I always look forward to visiting and seeing what activities are on for the day. The Frognal family are a credit to the Avery Collection. Cannot recommend enough.

When my mum became unwell after having Covid the attention and care she received was second to none. They not only supported my mum but they were there for the family too.
I do not know how we would have coped without the support.
Thank you to the carers so very much, I cannot thank you enough.
Thank you for taking the time to review Frognal, especially during a period of sadness. We believe we have a fantastic team at Frognal; your recognition and kind words are appreciated by every member of our team. We believe in creating a relaxed and friendly environment for our residents to call...
Just back from their Halloween party, just one of the events they regularly hold for residents and their families and the staff pulled out all the stops to make it a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
We really appreciate your kind words about the quality of care provided at Frognal House. Also, pleased to hear you enjoyed the Halloween event, it was a great evening.
Your positive feedback is truly invaluable to us - I will be sure to pass your kind comments on to the whole team.
Kind regards, Scott.
My mother has been in Frongnal House for more than a year now, and she is extremely happy there. There is a high standard of person-centred care, with the care staff responding to her particular needs. Mum really appreciates having her hair done in the hair salon, plus the visits from the chiropodist. The grounds are stunning, and when the weather allows, we always go outside for a coffee and chat. The care staff are always patient, kind, cheerful and competent.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely review. We take a lot of pride in the grounds and services we provide at Frognal House. We thank you for recognising this, and we really appreciate your kind words. Your feedback is truly invaluable to us; I will be sure to pass your kind comments on to the rest of the team. The service received has been very good, and we are very pleased with the home. The entertainment programme is very extensive, especially the quiz on Fridays.

I stayed for one week respite and the room was lovely and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The activities that i took part in were good.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for such positive comments.

The high standard of care offered by Signature has been continued by Avery Collection. All the staff members from reception to the care team to the health and wellbeing team are excellent, always sensitive to the needs of the residents and their families and delivering the highest standards of care.
We are delighted with how satisfied you are with our home and the care provided by our dedicated team in order to provide person-centred care for all our residents. Your feedback is truly invaluable to us, I will be sure to pass on your kind comments to all the team.
Kind regards.
Day staff good on the whole. Night staff diabolical. Complained of their behaviour, particularly one carer who lied about me. Night staff more than reluctant to help. When asking for help was told didn't know what to do and walked away, it was a simple request. No help being made comfortable before bed.
I appreciate your review and welcome the opportunity to discuss with you in person the issues you have raised.

Menus are of excellent quality and well-presented. There is an imaginative programme of activities.
My mother has lived within the community for nine years. She is 103, with sight, hearing and mobility difficulties, but the staff take endless care to ensure that she is included in activities and events and assisted to engage with them, but also that she continues to be as independent as possible. She has a lovely room with her own furniture and plenty of space for her belongings.
I cannot imagine a better place for my mother to live - thank you all so much!
Thank you so very much for your lovely words regarding our community, Mary. As you visit with your mum so very often, we really appreciate your review about our team, activities, accommodation and meals. Your mum is a much-loved member of our family here, just as you are. Many thanks, and stay well.
Two months ago (just after Christmas), she made the move initially for four weeks, which extended to eight weeks and this week, she has finally agreed that she will stay.
Her highlights are the food, activities and the companionship she has from residents and the staff. The home is spotless and very well run, with a manager who is still there three years after her last stay. Quite a feat in itself.
Thanks, team Frognal, you have taken a weight off my mind.
Thank you, John, for your very kind words about our home. We are so pleased to have your auntie with us and even more pleased that she decided to stay with us for the long term. She does enjoy the food and the friendships she has made. We do have a great deal of stability among our staff,...
I suggested Signature at Frognal House to an elderly couple who were no longer able to cope at home as I had previous experience with the home. The home has the same friendly caring atmosphere that I remembered. The care they have received from day one when they moved in has been first class, they were made to feel very welcome by all the staff from the moment they arrived. Settling into a completely different environment is difficult at any time, but the help given by the staff at all times of the day and night has made all the difference. They are happy in the home and very pleased that they made the decision to move into long-term care. It is lovely to be able to drop in and have a coffee and a chat at any time. I would recommend Signature at Frognal House to anyone considering either respite or long-term care for a friend or relative.
Tony, thank you so much for your thorough review; your comments are greatly appreciated. We are very happy that your friends have chosen to stay with us, no doubt through your encouragement! The team has been very nurturing and supportive of them to assist in easing any natural anxieties one would...
My brother and I can't say enough to thank Signature Care Home and all the staff at Frognal in Sidcup for the wonderful care and support they have provided my Mum throughout and particularly during the Covid/lockdown period. The difficulties and strains/pressures the staff faced during this very difficult were clearly immense, but this did not stop them from giving all they had to look after the residents - particularly our Mum in the Reminiscence accommodation - with love and affection. Thanks, is not enough.
Thank you so much, Steve, for your heartfelt comments. We did have quite a strenuous time during Covid, but we managed to do well because our families, such as yours, were incredibly supportive and understanding. Mum is doing very well in Reminiscence too. Stay well!
After having such a bad experience with the local authority trying to find a residence for my grandmother, Signature made everything so easy. They worked with us closely and explained everything in full. They relieved so much pressure from my family, and the team has been incredible at helping us transition. My grandmother is now in a place where she feels safe, and the anxiety we have as a family is gone. I would recommend Signature to anyone and everyone.
Thank you so much, Danielle, for the lovely comments. I am so pleased we were able to assist your family and nan in a time of need; we love having her with us; she is so sweet! Nan is making new friends and seems to be settling in so well. Many thanks.
The moment Mum went into Signature, she was made to feel so welcome by everyone - nothing too much trouble any time of the day and night.
The food she tells me is excellent and the cleanliness excellent. All the activities, from garden walks, quizzes, choir singing, and even learning how to use chopsticks, Mum has enjoyed so much. Even the hairdressing salon and not forgetting happy hour on a Friday for a small tipple, she said it's been like a long luxury holiday.
My mind was put at ease knowing the level of care, kindness and love all the staff have for every one of the residents.
Mum will be back again, that's for sure, and I, as a daughter, cannot thank all of you so much. I would definitely recommend Signature to anyone who wants peace of mind and excellent care and facilities for their loved ones.
Hello, it was such a pleasure having your mum with us. She has such a lovely smile and was so grateful to be able to be here with her brother. She is absolutely welcome back at any time that she wishes; we will always find a place for her. All the staff are very sorry to see her go. Stay well and come and visit! Cheers.
Excellent - no other words needed.

We take great pride in ensuring we deliver high-quality care to make a difference in our residents and their families' lives.
On 16th July 2022, Signature at Frognal House laid on an afternoon tea for my mum's 94th birthday. Everything they provided was excellent, the entertainment, the food and drink, the decoration and above all, the customer service, we could not have asked for more as everyone went above and beyond what we could ever have expected. A most enjoyable afternoon was had by all family, friends and residents.
We are so glad to hear that your mum enjoyed her birthday event. Here at Frognal House, we enjoy welcoming friends and family members to celebrate special occasions. The team here at Signature at Frognal are grateful for your kind words. Thank you.
We live a good distance away from Frognal House and had good communication from staff when there were any health or other issues. On the whole, we felt the level of care was excellent. We would certainly recommend Frognal House to anyone needing to be in a care home.
The team here at Frognal House would like to thank you for your kind words. We take...

Hello, I’m Fiona, I entered the care sector at the age of 15, previously to this role I was a registered nurse and currently have over 30 years working within a care home setting covering residential, dementia care, mental health and nursing care.
I am passionate about all aspects of care being person-centred to ensure that residents live a fulfilling life. My main interests in care are dementia, medication and end-of-life care.
I have been at Frognal since March 2023 and my main ethos along with the other members of the team is for Frognal to be the best that it can be. I’m happy to meet with any family/friends to discuss the care of your loved ones.

Hi, my name is Tracy, I have worked in care for the past 30 years, starting at the bottom and working my way through different roles from kitchen, and housekeeping to the care role. I have an open-door policy for all family members and my team members.

Hello everyone, for most of my working life, I have worked in the social care sector, working with variable adults with learning disabilities. In my spare time, I do freelancing for a floral events company.

My focus every day is to make the residents happy, activities are such an important part of daily living in our community. I have a great team, and we are all committed to ensuring that every resident makes the most of each day I am always open to suggestions, and if I can do it, I will.
