I cannot speak highly enough about the care and support provided by this care home. From the moment we first visited, the staff made us feel welcome, reassured, and confident that our loved one would be in safe and caring hands. Moving into residential care is never an easy decision for a family, but
the kindness, patience, and professionalism shown by everyone here made the transition so much easier.
The carers are truly compassionate and treat every resident with dignity and respect. They take the time to get to know each individual personally, understanding their preferences, routines, and needs. It is clear that the wellbeing and happiness of residents are always the top priority. The staff are attentive, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure residents feel comfortable and cared for.
The home itself is clean, warm, and welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere throughout. The rooms and communal areas are well maintained, creating a safe and homely environment.

My mother has been in Elvy Court for the past 7 years. It was her 96th birthday on Thursday.
Without the wonderful care she has received over the past 7 years, she would not be alive today.
The home is a credit to Avery and the amount of events put on for the residents who are able to attend is
fantastic. I am 100% satisfied with everything my mum has received since being there.
Reply from Rachel Allan, Client Liaison Manager at Elvy Court Care HomeThank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience with us.

My Mother has been at Birchmere for 11 weeks and has finally settled. She has been made very welcome by all the staff.
Her room has been personalised by hanging her own pictures. The generally day to day house keeping is excellent. Also, cooking her favourite meals is never too much trouble.
The
home has a lovely bistro where we can meet as a family and enjoy coffee and cake. She has particularly enjoyed the music events, from singers to classical quartets.
She also enjoys rides out in the Minibus.
She has experienced some uncertainties over the correct medication and subsequent timings, but hopefully this has now been resolved. The family feel that she is being cared for to a high standard.

Nothing was too much trouble from the team at Acer to help me get Mum's room ready so that when I moved her in it all felt familiar which is important when you have dementia. They went out of their way to understand Mums history and her likes and dislikes, and made sure to welcome her. She has settled

As soon as you walk through the doors you are met with a friendly and happy environment. This goes for the happy friendly and engaging staff through to the residents themselves.
Our mother settled quickly into her lovely room with private ensuite wet room, overlooking private gardens. The standard
of the accommodation is excellent, clean with a fresh and pleasant atmosphere. The amenities are not short of what you'd find in a high level hotel.
There are regular activities each day to suit most needs.
The level of care is great. The support provided extending to our family as well as our mother. The health issues she has had have been handled sensitively and we have been kept fully involved, giving us confidence that she is being well cared for.
All the staff work so hard and their energy and commitment is obvious to see.

My Mum is at Acer House and I'm so happy that she is so well looked after. Acer house is really well managed, all the people who work there are lovely. It's spotlessly clean and the rooms are well furnished, my Mums room is lovely and she is happy there. They organise lots for the residents to do
and make sure everyone is aware of what is available. The food is lovely and family can also eat with residents for a small charge. I am so pleased we found Acer House for my Mum to stay at, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere for their loved ones to stay.

I was impressed with Esher Manor from the first time I visited to see if it would suit my Mother. The staff were welcoming and all said hello. The manager knew all the residents names and greeted them all. The atmosphere was calm and residents appeared content. The facilities are lovely and the garden
is very well designed.
Mum went in for a trial and my initial impressions have turned out to be correct. It is a huge adjustment for her but the staff are understanding and gently encouraging. She has decided to stay in her lovely room. I would recommend anyone looking for a care home in the area to consider Eshe Manor.

My Aunt entered the Care home willingly as she felt she could no longer cope on her own. She has a beautifully appointed room with en-suite facilities and she appears to be happy with the care which she is receiving.
However she is constantly frustrated that the TV in her room regularly suffers loss
of internet connection. The problem has persisted for several weeks and she despairs of it ever being resolved. This may appear to be a small problem but to her the TV is her only source of entertainment as she feels she is too old to take part in any of the other entertainment facilities on offer. Hopefully a booster will be installed soon.
Reply from Cosmin Tiriteu, General Manager at Brentwood Arches Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you for your feedback and input. We are delighted that your aunt is happy with her room and the care she receives. However, I sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the inconsistent internet connection on her TV. We recognize that this is her primary source of entertainment, and it is regrettable that this issue has persisted for several weeks. Please be assured we are prioritizing the installation of a signal booster to resolve this permanently. Thank you for your patience and for bringing this to our attention. Sincerely, Cosmin
