As a nurse myself who visits my friend regularly, I have been very impressed with the consistent level of care, dignity and respect I have witnessed, given to all residents.
Challenging situations are faced by staff with calmness and resolved with compassion and understanding.
Meals are of a high
quality, diverse selection and daily activities are well organised, inclusive and varied.
Laundry and cleaning services are well run and efficient. It is so lovely to see a place where everyone is treated as an individual and needs met accordingly.

This is the second time my husband has stayed at Lavender Lodge for respite care. He has been very well looked after both times, and I am very happy that I have found a lovely home to care for him. He is 96 years of age and has dementia. The staff are so kind and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you.

The staff were kind, patient, friendly and supportive. They took the time to chat with residents and made Dad feel comfortable and cared for throughout his stay.
Communication with the family was excellent, especially whenever Dad had any medical concerns, and we were kept informed and reassured.
Dad was encouraged to join in activities whenever he was able, which helped him stay engaged and involved.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lavender Lodge to anyone looking for a caring supportive home for a loved one.

We don't live local to the home but try to visit around every 6 weeks, we could not care for my mother to the same high standards that Pemberley give my mother which gives us peace of mind she is being cared for 24/7.
My mother recently reached her 100th Birthday and Pemberley Care Home excelled themselves
in making both my mothers and our family a very memorable day. The event was well organised and everything was thought of including entertainment, excellent variety of food, a celebration cake and they created a book of her life for the family to keep. The home also presented my mother with a lovely gift of a painting of her favourite flowers painted by another resident.
Reply from Pamela Sharman, Client Liaison Manager at Pemberley House Care Home - Avery HealthcareThank you for your review, it was a lovely day, one to remember for all. It was so nice to see you all there together for her big day. She told us it took a week to open all her cards, bless her. Such a beautiful lady and a pleasure to care for. I will certainly pass on your comments to the team.

My 91-year old father moved into Southampton Manor in October 2018. For a while, he was very weak and not even able to control an electric wheelchair. Despite this, when he was strong enough he participated in many of the excellent and varied activities put on by the care home, making friends with
other residents and staff.
18 months later, his recovery has been miraculous. He now walks indoors without even a stick, just using a walking stick for support when walking outside. This recovery isn't of course just down to Southampton Manor - he had a hip replacement and physio - but I believe the warm, supportive and fun environment of Southampton Manor contributed hugely to his recovery. I do not think this would have been possible at home - or in many other care homes. His health has recovered to the point that he thought it best to return to his home, though this was a difficult decision as he enjoyed life there so much. He is looking forward to a respite stay in a few months!
Reply from Grant Gibson, Client Liaison Manager at Southampton Manor Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you so much for sharing your fathers wonderful journey with us. it has been a privilege to be part of his recovery and to watch his confidence, strength, and independence grow over the past 18 months. We are so pleased that your farther enjoyed our activities programme and formed meaning friendships with both residence and staff, and felt at home within our community. Whilst his remarkable recovery is certainly a testament to his determination, as well as the excellent medical care and physiotherapy he received, we are honoured that you feel our warm, supportive and engaging environment played a positive role in his progress. Although we were very sad to see dad leave, we completely understand his decision to return home and are thrilled that his health has improved to a point where this is possible. we wish him every happiness and continued good health, and we look forward to welcoming him back for a respite stay in the future. Thank you again for your kind words

My mother was a dementia resident for nearly three years. Throughout this time she received excellent care, particularly in the last two years. The staff were respectful, alert to her needs and she was always treated with kindness. I know that she felt loved by the wonderful carers. She especially enjoyed
the tasty and varied food and the visiting entertainers. Communication between the home and family was always excellent, especially in the last month before she died. I can only speak about the dementia care but I would not hesitate to recommend the home if you are looking for a place for a loved one.

My dad has been here in Camberley Woods for 4 1/2 years. In that time his condition - Parkinson's & Lewybody Dementia has deteriorated but he has always been very well looked after/cared for by the entire team of nurses & carers. Who are all so kind & caring. My dad is very loved by all the staff, and
that gives our family much comfort. Everybody here, including the receptionists etc are allso friendly, and we as a family enjoy catching up with them when we visit dad weekly.

Throughout my mother's stay we found the care home to have a family feel rather than a luxury feel which my mother preferred. With the care home being one of the older ones it did not have double glazing, air conditioning or a large outside. However the care home was always kept clean and tidy and house
keeping was always in attendance.
The carers and staff are very loyal to this care home and dedication to residents and relatives was first class and certainly makes it have a happy and homely feel.
Reply from Pranav Vaidya, Home Manager at Lavender Lodge Care Home - Avery HealthcareThank you for your feedback. While our home is one of the older properties and may not offer some modern features, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, family atmosphere where residents feel happy, cared for and at home. We appreciate your feedback regarding the cleanliness, care and homely environment, which is a reflection of the dedication of our long-standing staff team.

Dad absolutely loves being at Lavender Lodge after initially being against the idea of moving into a care home. He now claims it's the best decision he made and has no regrets. The staff are amazing throughout, from reception, cleaning staff, nurses, chefs, entertainment staff, maintenance and management.
They all look after Dad fantastically and I feel I have peace of mind that he is cared for there. Dad especially loves all the activities that are on offer and he is regularly included in helping with quizzes in particular. Dad now has the social interaction that he missed so much after mum passed away and it's given him a new lease of life. Thank you Lavender Lodge for giving Dad the best care.

We cannot praise this wonderful care home enough. Our mum was here for over three years and in that time she was always treated with care, compassion, dignity and love. As a family it was always a pleasure to visit, we ourselves were always welcomed and made to feel part of the Avery family. We must
mention the amazing staff who do such a wonderful job and often go above and beyond to ensure that all of the residents are happy. We are so glad that mum came to live here, we feel very lucky.

Our Dad moved into Lavender Lodge in 2024.
He required nursing care for several age related issues.
The care he received on daily basis was excellent.
If there was an issue the staff were quick to respond.
The staff always took time out to have a chat with him when passing.

My dad needed respite care at very short notice. The way the staff helped me to organise this and welcome my dad to Pemberley was exceptional. As the family of a full time resident, we love visiting and engaging with everyone at Camberley Woods. Staff are very friendly, smiley and dutiful in their jobs and always go the extra mile. The food is almost too good - maybe a bit 'rich' for our father's diet and digestive requirements, but he loves
it! All in all we are very pleased and happy with Camberley Woods.
