Five star service from the very beginning with my initial enquiry with the lovely Grace there for my dad all the way through to becoming a resident at Bourn View, My Dad absolutely loves it there, it is so reassuring to me to know that I have made the right choice for him.
The professionalism of all
the staff is exceptional and nothing is never too much for them, from the minute you walk through the doors, and if you have questions or queries they are there to help.
Grace, Katy, Tracey, Cara, Hugh, Jake & Zoe are just a few of the fantastic staff that I have had the privilege of meeting so far, and I know that there are many more special staff in this establishment
I would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Bourn View, and keep up the excellent work that you provide.

I needed some respite care for my father at short notice. After doing my research I chose Birchmere. Time was of the essence and they were able to assess without delay. From the moment we entered the building we were greeted with smiles and introductions. The assessor (Deputy Manager) made my dad feel
very comfortable and gave him time to express his wishes. In my opinion the best reviews of a care home come from the residents who live there, and the ones we met and spoke to endorsed that Birchmere is a happy caring place to live. The entire team from housekeeping, maintenance, nurses, carers, activities and management welcomed my dad with open arms. If you are searching for a care home be it respite or permanent, look no further.

my brother has recently moved into New Cross care home and I could not be more delighted with how he has been cared for. I knew the moment, I stepped inside, that there was nowhere else that I wanted my brother to go. The care home is spotless, the staff are all amazing and my brother has been happily
engaging in the activities. His room is more like a hotel room and there is a lovely, warm friendly vibe to this home. It is very reassuring to know that my brother is well cared for and happy.

My mother was a resident of Aran Court from August 2025 to October 2025 in the EAB Unit on the first floor. We were impressed with the Care Home standards and the way they treated my mother as a resident, patient and person, with dignity and respect. The medical nurses were brilliant as were the care
assistants. The facilities were great and the care home was secure. There was also good parking and I was always able to find a place to park. Everyone at Aran Court were friendly and courteous to visitors and felt at home when I went to visit my mother. There was always fresh food and as my mother was immobile and couldn't get to the dining room, so they always brought her food to the room. They did everything they could for my mother and I will aways be grateful for their service. The staff at the management office and the receptionists were always friendly and helpful also. I would give Aran Court more than 5 stars if I was able to, they were amazing the way they supported my mother!

I was very impressed from the first time I walked in. Staff extremely friendly and helpfull. Carers were the same most of the time without the need for agency staff which enabled great rapports with the residents. The food was good quality with plenty of choice. Mum only attended a few activities but
enjoyed the ones she did, especially she enjoyed the musical entertainment and singing along. My mum could be very dificult at times so thank you for your patience and care. I would highly recommend Birchmere House.

The care my mum received at Bourn View was as professional, compassionate and warm as we could possibly have hoped. It's a luxury-styled place, but that would be nothing without the staff. They are gentle, patient, kind and attentive. Nothing and no one is trouble. My mum was so safe, happy and healthy,

My daughter has been in the phone for 12 years, and there have been a number of different managers, but I must say the present management have given the home a real boost. They listen to all queries and try to solve them to the best of their abilities. There does need to be more lighting in the car
park for the safety of relatives and staff with the dark night.

My grandad initially came for respite in June for 4 weeks, he loved it so much that he became a permanent resident in August. As a family we noticed such a difference in him, he was happier, his mobility improved and it was lovely to see him getting involved in the activities. The care home is beautiful,
bright, clean and the staff are incredible. I have already recommended Bourn View to a couple of people whi have been looking at care homes for their family members. Thank you to everyone for taking such care in our family memories.

Mum could not be looked after any better at Avalon Court. She is always telling me how lucky she is to be there. Over the years she has been a resident, and she has had a few falls resulting in broken bones. Each time this happens, the staff implement and strengthen the care and safeguarding mum receives.
The caring staff not only look out for the residents but also become family to all involved. The entertainment team work so hard to provide joyous activities that are enjoyed by all. A big thank you.
