Before I asked Avery to care for my father I surveyed and assessed many other facilities., before making a final decision.
I have a very high regard for this facility where my Father is being cared for. The staff are all amazing in every way expected. The atmosphere is both friendly and efficient on
all matters . I can compliment the care home enough or the sraff whiuch is acredit to the the Management approach for five star treatment.
Kind regards

My mother in-law has been a resident at Butlers Mews for almost 2 months.
Myself and other members of the family are very impressed. Mum has also expressed how happy she is which makes us happy!
The staff are excellent, hard-working, kind, compassionate, professional with attention to detail. Nothing
seems too much for them. It's a charming, comfortable room with an ensuite bathroom. The variety and quality of food has been excellent.
I would recommend the home to anyone looking for help with their loved ones. Thank you Butlers Mews.

I was very pleased with the care my mum received at Butlers Mews, Rugby.
All the staff were very friendly and approachable, answered any questions we asked.
The home is very modern and clean, washing was done regularly and pressed & put on hangers.
Mum was clean & tidy when we visited and loved staying
there.
As mum has dementia ,she wouldn't be able to speak for herself.
She enjoyed most of the food and I loved the idea of showing her two plates of choices she could have.
We asked for mum to join in any activities as she would probably say no which was listened to.
I would highly recommend this care home, mum was only there for respite for two weeks but I wouldn't hesitate to let her stay there again.

Mum is currently a resident at Butlers Mews.
We as a family feel so grateful to have found this place. It is exceptional outstanding 5 star plus on all levels. The staff go above and beyond to make the residents comfortable. Mum is always spoken to and treated with dignity and kindness, I feel good
genuine care is given. The food is amazing too. We also have the most delicious cakes and coffee when visiting. They are all super stars in every way. Butlers Mews has a cheerful atmosphere, staff and residents look relaxed and happy which speaks volumes.

The Client Relations Manager has been very supportive of the process from initial contact to dealing with queries as we have gone on this journey. It is confusing who does what in the home and linking with Adult Social Care has and is challenging. The food is adequate and comparable to say school dinners
and I guess the fees are paying for care not food. Good range of activities Dad needs encouragement to join in I think he gets it. Time is at a premium but talking to him is important I come to home late in afternoon and often find him alone in his room. I have to score down on value for money due to the high cost of residential care, whilst I understand context in which it is delivered. Final comment the staff are professional caring and open and willing to talk, alternative and I feel Dad is safe.

Reply from Jamie-Leigh Whittle, Client Liaison Manager at Scholars Mews Care Home - Avery Healthcare

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. It's so lovely to hear that you have felt supported throughout the journey, and that our staff have been professional, caring, and approachable. It's especially meaningful to know that you feel your dad is safe with us-that is always our top priority.Your comments on food and value for money are noted and will be shared with our team. We aim to provide a balanced and nutritious menu and always welcome input from residents and families on how we can enhance mealtimes.Regarding activities and engagement, we agree that encouragement can make a big difference, and we'll continue working with your dad to support his participation in the ways that suit him best. We also understand how valuable your visits are, and we'll look into how we can ensure more social engagement during those later afternoon hours.Thank you again for your honest and balanced review. It helps us to continue growing and improving the care we offer.

My dad feels like he has gone home. I've not seen him this happy for over a decade. The staff smile and engage with all of the residents.
When I leave, I'm no longer worried about him or anxious as I know he's in good hands and I know he's enjoying himself.
Everyone seems to care for each other and
it's a delight to go and visit him as everyone makes me feel so welcome and I go into his room and he is smiling
And the cakes are amazing!!!
Thank you

The dedicated team at Butler Mews provide outstanding care! The home is a delight to visit. My grandmother is content, comfortable & relaxed. With a person centred approach at its heart, my grandmother settled quickly. She has personalised her room and quite simply it is now her home. Butler Mews' excellent
facilities are evident. The critical success factor is the phenomenal care and expertise provided by staff, working together across all areas. They clearly feel valued and enjoy their roles. This is reflected in the atmosphere and in their enthusiasm for my grandmother's care. They have the perfect balance of availability & approachability; with discretion & privacy. My grandmother has established unique & positive relationships with her carers. There is always huge trepidation when faced with any transition. None more so than when transitioning into residential care, for both resident and loved ones. All fears quickly dissipated with the support of guidance of staff. Thank you!

My Mother has been a resident since February this year. The care she has been given since arriving there is amazing. The staff are so kind and compassionate. She is cared for 24 hours a day, nothing is too much trouble. As a family we are so impressed with the home in general. We visit regularly and
are always made to feel welcome. The atmosphere there is happy and uplifting, lots of activities and musical events. I have great admiration for the staff and management of this home.

My grandmother moved into Butler's Mews in February 2025 following surgery due to a broken arm. She was understandably nervous about losing her independence. However, the experience at Butler's Mews has been incredible; the facilities, food, rooms but most of all the staff! Everyone is so friendly and
accommodating, nothing is too much for them. It has made a difficult transition a lot easier and we can't thank them enough for this! Highly recommend for anyone needing this type of service.

I'm so pleased that we moved mum to Scholars Mews, the teams care has been exemplary and I have had the eight of the world lifted from my shoulders. The activity team is wonderful; shes been involved in activities ranging from meeting cute puppies to church visits and a visit from the Easter bunny.
A recent visit to hospital was handled seamlessly and I have no worries that her various medical needs are monitored and adjusted appropriately.

In all aspects you have listed I can only say I was impressed - the kindness and friendliness of staff was an especial feature if there was an area that I would suggest examination it is access to GP and perhaps a more easily reportable system for medical conditions. That aside, a faultless and successful
system of which you should be proud (sorry vision very limited at present)

We viewed two other homes in the area and this was by far our favourite. It has the feeling of a small boutique hotel but above all the staff are so welcoming, caring and friendly. The residents are encouraged to treat the home as their home and what I love is that you can pop in at any time. My mum
is there having some respite care after a couple of falls, she won't be able to live independently at home so we are looking at making the transition from temp to perm as what we have experienced so far is brilliant. I love how civilised it is, the wine with the meals makes me want to join in.

My dear uncle was a resident for 2 years at Acorn Lodge Care Home until he passed away in December.
The staff are so friendly and they provide exceptional care to all of the residents. The staff made a huge difference to the last 2 years of my uncles life, he was always so happy and content.
The
food choices are of a high standard and well presented. The home is nicely decorated, well furnished and very clean. I couldn't have asked for anymore from the home, they are such a great team.

My mum arrived at Butlers Mews a few days ago. She has settled in exceptionally well and very quickly. The facilities are fabulous and she has already commented that everywhere is spotless, the cutlery is sparkling and the white linen tablecloths. All the staff are so welcoming, friendly and cheerful.
It has been a huge relief to me that mum has settled in so quickly and is being cared for by such lovely and caring staff including the management, who have been so supportive to me too.
