Very pleased with extremely caring staff. I always get a warm welcome to. The staff are very caring to 'Jim' because he always cries when I leave him - Rea in particular - soon calms him down
It has been such a relief to me after being Jims carer for three years.
It is a relief to let the reins go,
although I had tremendous guilt, staff reassured me.

This care home would be difficult to better. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. My mum is very happy with the care she receives and praises the staff and loves the food. I never announce my visits, I just pop in when I can, and I'm always made welcome, in fact I feel more like
one of a big happy family. I would recommend Scholars Mews to anyone and would be glad to move in myself.

I cannot fault the care & attention my relative has received since moving into Butlers Mews. This was a huge move out of a very much loved home but to see my relative being welcomed & so well cared for is a huge relief. There is always someone around to approach if needed. The activities provided are
so varied & well executed. I have nothing but praise for this care home.

Before I asked Avery to care for my father I surveyed and assessed many other facilities., before making a final decision.
I have a very high regard for this facility where my Father is being cared for. The staff are all amazing in every way expected. The atmosphere is both friendly and efficient on
all matters . I can compliment the care home enough or the sraff whiuch is acredit to the the Management approach for five star treatment.
Kind regards

My mother in-law has been a resident at Butlers Mews for almost 2 months.
Myself and other members of the family are very impressed. Mum has also expressed how happy she is which makes us happy!
The staff are excellent, hard-working, kind, compassionate, professional with attention to detail. Nothing
seems too much for them. It's a charming, comfortable room with an ensuite bathroom. The variety and quality of food has been excellent.
I would recommend the home to anyone looking for help with their loved ones. Thank you Butlers Mews.

I was very pleased with the care my mum received at Butlers Mews, Rugby.
All the staff were very friendly and approachable, answered any questions we asked.
The home is very modern and clean, washing was done regularly and pressed & put on hangers.
Mum was clean & tidy when we visited and loved staying
there.
As mum has dementia ,she wouldn't be able to speak for herself.
She enjoyed most of the food and I loved the idea of showing her two plates of choices she could have.
We asked for mum to join in any activities as she would probably say no which was listened to.
I would highly recommend this care home, mum was only there for respite for two weeks but I wouldn't hesitate to let her stay there again.

The Client Relations Manager has been very supportive of the process from initial contact to dealing with queries as we have gone on this journey. It is confusing who does what in the home and linking with Adult Social Care has and is challenging. The food is adequate and comparable to say school dinners
and I guess the fees are paying for care not food. Good range of activities Dad needs encouragement to join in I think he gets it. Time is at a premium but talking to him is important I come to home late in afternoon and often find him alone in his room. I have to score down on value for money due to the high cost of residential care, whilst I understand context in which it is delivered. Final comment the staff are professional caring and open and willing to talk, alternative and I feel Dad is safe.
Reply from Jamie-Leigh Whittle, Client Liaison Manager at Scholars Mews Care Home - Avery Healthcare

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. It's so lovely to hear that you have felt supported throughout the journey, and that our staff have been professional, caring, and approachable. It's especially meaningful to know that you feel your dad is safe with us-that is always our top priority.Your comments on food and value for money are noted and will be shared with our team. We aim to provide a balanced and nutritious menu and always welcome input from residents and families on how we can enhance mealtimes.Regarding activities and engagement, we agree that encouragement can make a big difference, and we'll continue working with your dad to support his participation in the ways that suit him best. We also understand how valuable your visits are, and we'll look into how we can ensure more social engagement during those later afternoon hours.Thank you again for your honest and balanced review. It helps us to continue growing and improving the care we offer.

My dad feels like he has gone home. I've not seen him this happy for over a decade. The staff smile and engage with all of the residents.
When I leave, I'm no longer worried about him or anxious as I know he's in good hands and I know he's enjoying himself.
Everyone seems to care for each other and
it's a delight to go and visit him as everyone makes me feel so welcome and I go into his room and he is smiling
And the cakes are amazing!!!
Thank you

The dedicated team at Butler Mews provide outstanding care! The home is a delight to visit. My grandmother is content, comfortable & relaxed. With a person centred approach at its heart, my grandmother settled quickly. She has personalised her room and quite simply it is now her home. Butler Mews' excellent
facilities are evident. The critical success factor is the phenomenal care and expertise provided by staff, working together across all areas. They clearly feel valued and enjoy their roles. This is reflected in the atmosphere and in their enthusiasm for my grandmother's care. They have the perfect balance of availability & approachability; with discretion & privacy. My grandmother has established unique & positive relationships with her carers. There is always huge trepidation when faced with any transition. None more so than when transitioning into residential care, for both resident and loved ones. All fears quickly dissipated with the support of guidance of staff. Thank you!

My Mother has been a resident since February this year. The care she has been given since arriving there is amazing. The staff are so kind and compassionate. She is cared for 24 hours a day, nothing is too much trouble. As a family we are so impressed with the home in general. We visit regularly and
are always made to feel welcome. The atmosphere there is happy and uplifting, lots of activities and musical events. I have great admiration for the staff and management of this home.

My grandmother moved into Butler's Mews in February 2025 following surgery due to a broken arm. She was understandably nervous about losing her independence. However, the experience at Butler's Mews has been incredible; the facilities, food, rooms but most of all the staff! Everyone is so friendly and
accommodating, nothing is too much for them. It has made a difficult transition a lot easier and we can't thank them enough for this! Highly recommend for anyone needing this type of service.

I'm so pleased that we moved mum to Scholars Mews, the teams care has been exemplary and I have had the eight of the world lifted from my shoulders. The activity team is wonderful; shes been involved in activities ranging from meeting cute puppies to church visits and a visit from the Easter bunny.
A recent visit to hospital was handled seamlessly and I have no worries that her various medical needs are monitored and adjusted appropriately.
