On the negative ide, the finance department seems confused and slapdash. Overly complex or weird invoices - especially the ones for extras which lists "fees £0" and then the second invoice for fees attached.

Mam is very comfortable and well cared for in the home. Everything is well kept and comfortable. The staff are second to none very welcoming. Nothing is to much trouble, no matter when I turn up. I always feel at home, it's like being part of a big family. Thank you all very much

My connection with Scholars Mews has been limited, but I can see that much thought and effort has been applied there and has resulted in excellence. Staff are professional and caring, and refreshingly intelligent in the way Scholars is run, and in daily care routines. I am very happy to see my mum-in-law thriving in her current environment!

Value for money is scored lower due to the fact residential care is expensive from the client's perspective, it's difficult to deliver that level of value. On occasions Dad has required assistance to use toilet that is slow to be provided. He has appeared untidy needing a shave. Room sometimes needs cleaning simple hoover once a day.

The management and care staff have been excellent, their energy, warmth and caring, as well as professionalism shines through! I feel that we are fortunate to have mum in Scholars Mews, and see that mum gets more mental and physical support and stimulation than before she moved in. Not only are the activities diverse and stimulating, the staff who attend are second to none and give their all in what they do. Thanks very much everyone! Oh, and mum now tells me that she is happy at Scholars Mews :)! xx THANK YOU ALL!

The care staff, the domestics and Entertainment staff are all amazing. Scholars Mews is a family and I thank everyone of the Staff who care for my mother. Thank you housekeeping for all of your help.

I love living at Scholars Mews

We have been really impressed by the excellent staff and facilities at Scholars Mews. Initially, Maureen struggled to adjust to the new situation but over time she has adapted and is now very happy. We are particularly impressed by the staff who have been really amazing with Maureen. They are always very attentive and supportive of her. Every time they see her they are extremely friendly and cheerful, which really lifts her mood. Also they are highly professional and take great care of her physical and mental health. All of this greatly appreciated.

My mum - Ida has been in the home for about six months. She has settled in so well due to the care and commitment of the staff. They are all so friendly, welcoming, not only to the residents but to family as well. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Meals are excellent. Mum is always clean and washed. Always dressed nicely. All staff from carers, cleaners, reception staff, others I have forgotten are fantastic. The whole care home is so calming and the decor is lovely.

My mother in law is well settled into Scholars Mews. Staff have made her feel part of the family. She is well cared for and seems happy and content. Thank you for all of the staff that have helped with her settling in.

from the minute mum arrived she has been treated like family, she requires significant support and this has never been found wanting. All staff are amazing, providing mum with not only the physical support but every aspect of it with regular social interactions and lots of hugs and laughter. Mum is exceptionally well cared for, safe and genuinely happy with her new family and as a family we will be forever grateful

Coming here has renewed my faith in mankind. The staff are absolutely wonderful, kind, helpful and patient I couldnt find enough words to praise them. I bless the day that I came here.

Mom is so content here - happy, well-fed and comfortable. She has such lovely carers, Faye, Fae, Joanne, etc. I have no worries about her care here. Thank you for your kindness and love.

Mum came into Scholars Mews for respite in the first instance, but decided to stay! The staff here are all wonderful and I am so grateful for the excellent care Mum is receiving. Her mental wellbeing is much improved through the stimulation she is receiving here. Special mention to Kira and all the staff on mums floor youre all brilliant!

This has been another very happy month thanks to all the very helpful Staff we have working here, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always on hand if I need anything.

Staff are very good, everyone really kind and treat the residents like their own family. Rooms are nice but if something goes wrong takes to long to put right Food is always very good and always hot which is important. The building is always very clean and looks like a home and not a care home. Only thing beds could be changed a bit more often. We are very very happy and could not have put Mum anywhere better. Many thanks to everyone, we do appreciate all the hard work you do.
