No complaints. Staff are always polite and helpful. The bedroom is always clean and dealt with. If I ever have a query I know I can always approach the staff.

Care is provided 24/7. Maintenance, when needed, is provided. Meals are of a very high standard. Residents' routine, concerning times of bed and waking are chosen by the residents. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm. All rooms have their own televisions.

I have been staying here for over two years. I hadn't intended to stay but I know I did the right thing. The staff are kind and caring. We have two very good cooks. I would recommend Scholars Mews Care Home to anyone.

I am always welcomed in the home on visits by the staff and they look after my sister so well. It's been lovely to see her so happy.

Scholars Mews' staff have been amazing during this awful Covid-19 crisis. My mother has been so well looked after and protected from the virus. The excellent policy and procedures for all the residents' care has prevented the spread of the disease. Residents have had many more activities arranged and the staff have also arranged video chats with relatives. I have been kept fully informed of my relative's health and well-being throughout, and the staff are now arranging visits in accordance with social distancing rules. The staff are knowledgeable, caring and professional and I would recommend the home to anyone who wants a lovely caring environment for their family member.

Really poor care. Mum was moved floors away from her friends. I asked that she was taken back each day, didn't happen. She was supposed to be weighted regularly, didn't happen. She went in able to walk but was in a wheelchair within a month. Bedsores. No activities. Not fed.

My mother has spent the last 8 years of her life in Scholars Mews. The love, care and respect by all members of staff has been remarkable throughout that time. We could not have asked for a better place for my mother to be. I wish the home and all of the staff the best for the future and I will always remember the sensitivity of the staff during her final days. Thank you.

First-time respite care in Scholars Mews for my wife, who settled in very quickly. Staff were all very friendly, professional and readily available, as and when required. Apparently, all went well because the Manager reported my wife was welcome to come back. I hope to arrange a further break mid-December.

The staff are both friendly and efficient. The facilities are very good too. I think it is a lovely care home which is both clean and very pleasant to visit you feel that your loved one is in good hands and can feel confident they are being cared for as you would wish.

We found all of the staff very friendly, caring, compassionate and very professional. My uncle was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. It was a great comfort to know that my uncle was safe and being well cared for.

My Mum, after settling in, thoroughly enjoyed her stay which allowed us to have a much needed break with the knowledge that she was well looked after. I have only been here a week but I am very happy with the care and service.

My Mum arrived at Scholars Mews in December 2018 for rehabilitation care following a lengthy stay in hospital after breaking her leg. On arrival at Scholars Mews, she was virtually bed-bound due to a complete lack of confidence, and every time she tried to get up she suffered from the most dreadful panic attacks. However, assisted by the wonderful, caring staff, she soon began to make good progress and her mobility and confidence grew every day. After three months, Mum was mobile enough to return to her own home. I cannot thank the staff at Scholars Mews enough for helping Mum return to her usual self. They are all extremely kind, understanding and dedicated. I would highly recommend Scholars Mews to anyone who is looking for rehabilitation care for a family member.
