Scholars Mews is set in the heart of historic Stratford-upon-Avon.

It provides care for the elderly with residential or dementia needs and also has facilities for nursing and respite care.

The home was refurbished in 2016 and has generously proportioned rooms with ¾ sized beds, a luxury cinema, well-stocked library, hair salon, cosy lounge areas and a dining room which opens up as a bistro to the public once a month.

The home happily accommodates couples and companions who wish to remain together as they continue their care journey and make new memories side by side.

Expert staff deliver round-the-clock care with compassion, supporting families, as well as the residents themselves.

The home has a team of energetic Well-Being coordinators who devise a programme of activities to suit all needs.

The home has good ties with the local community. Friends and family are warmly welcomed.

Residents can spend all year round in the beautifully landscaped gardens with the all-weather, multipurpose visiting pod.

My mother has been in Scholars Mews memory floor since the end of May 2017. She has settled in very well and as her needs change, they have been promptly met. When we visit the home is very welcoming and we are always updated with any news about my mother. I am extremely pleased with her care there.

Had Christmas lunch at Scholars Mews Care Home. Six of us were there and the staff, food, service and care was superb at all times. Management and staff went on DUTY, the preparation which was made beforehand was very extensive as well as detail. First class surroundings with one and all having a good
time. The atmosphere was electric and I heard of no complaints from anyone, young or old with good festive cheer all around. Every resident attended the lunch in the dining area.

The atmosphere of the home is always welcoming and comforting. My mother was given exceptional five-star care at the end of her life. My family was well supported. She died with dignity and surrounded by warmth and love.
All staff at Scholars Mews care Home were good but the nursing staff and agency
nursing staff were truly exceptional.

I have spoken to the Head Housekeeper and I complimented her on the standard of cleanliness and the fact that everything always smells clean and fresh. I was pleased to see the carpet cleaner being used.

I can finally relax knowing that my 81-year-old mum is safe, happy and being extremely well looked after.
The standard of care, cleanliness, staff and the exceptional varied food is top class and my mum does not want to leave.
Scholars Mews is modern, bright with friendly, approachable staff and excellent
care.

The very warm welcome for mum after being shown around Scholars Mews care Home a few days before mum arrived.
Found it to be very clean and organised. The staff were friendly and working hard to see that all their needs of the people were catered for. I was impressed with all the aspects of the care

A wonderful place which feels and looks like a home. Beautiful layout always tidy and no smell.

My mother came to Scholar Mews in Stratford Upon Avon in September 2016. We have as a family, found it to be a very caring and friendly residential home. All the residents are well looked after and have varying needs. Individual rooms are welcoming and are kept very clean. The communal rooms are very
pleasant and a good place to sit for a coffee or drink. The garden is lovely and well looked after, and the food is extremely good and dining at Scholar Mews is a good experience for visitors and residents.

Clean, well-decorated, well-furnished room. Caring compassionate, competent staff. Excellent menu well prepared. Encouraging high level of staff morale responsible to questions or suggestions. Visitors, especially spouses are made very welcome. Easily the best of 7 homes which I visited. My wife has

The care provided to my father has been exceptional. Without exception, all staff have been friendly, efficient and have enabled a reluctant and independent man to feel welcome, safe and well cared for. He has been treated with respect and dignity, despite changing needs and we are very grateful for

As indicated some were excellent. The food was made with love and served well. The care was satisfactory, some excellent and "human", others were not in treating you as the third person and agency carers not enjoying their jobs. I will stay again because overall I enjoyed my week's respite.

My mother is in the dementia unit and the activities carried out are amazing - keeping her brain active. She has maintained a level which I am sure is due to them and to the fabulous care she receives. The staff treat all residents as individuals. I cannot praise them highly enough.

Everything about Scholars Mews is excellent. The level of care my mother receives from such amazing staff is humbling. The atmosphere and surroundings are like a hotel and the food is as good as any restaurant I've experienced in the area.
But above all that, my mother is treated like a queen. She
has a social life with other residents and enjoys a good giggle with the staff as well.
We are a very short walk to the theatre, shops and Stratford is a wonderful town to be in.
My mother enjoys the in-house cinema and makes full use of the hair and beauty salon weekly.
