Mum and dad came to Scholars Mews for respite in May last year and enjoyed their time here so when dad needed full-time care mum and I had no hesitation in choosing Scholars Mews for him. He has received exemplary care now for 4 months. The staff and facilities here are wonderful, his support requires personal care and physical help at times and I feel that all staff are watchful, always alert to his wellbeing. Thank you Scholars Mews!

Would like a room where everyone gets together for meaningful conversations.

I was widowed on 23/2/18 and because of a resent coccyx injury I was unable to walk and was transferred to a local care home, this happened in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My closet relative is my maternal grandaughter who arranged for my transfer here Scholars Mews where I have no doubt I will remain until my own death.

The home itself was clean and beautifully furnished. It had a relaxed ambience. The activities appeared to be well managed and inclusive for all the residents. I felt happy with the care my mother received while at Scholars Mews Care Home.

On time, all the time.

I am sufficiently impressed that I could cheerfully become a resident myself. I saw absolutely nothing to complain about at all.

My mother loves the home and I am very confident that all her needs will be bet. The staff are all helpful, competent and cheerful. A truly wonderful place for those who need a care home.

I can't speak too highly of Scholars Mews Care Home. My husband has just had a week of respite aid from the welcome when he arrived until I went to bring him home he had enjoyed everything and made friends.

I have been here now three weeks and intend to remain for another two. I am writing at a halfway stage to commend most sincerely the staff who are quite outstanding. They smile and are amazingly helpful all through their long hours. Their efforts to entertain a variety of ages and mentality are first class. (To be continued in two weeks).

An amazing care home. The staff are lovely and everyone is interested in the well-being, health and happiness of my dad. The environment is relaxing and calm.

Activities are organised regularly to engage and stimulate residents. My dad is living a busy and fulfilling life here. Thank you.

Staff very attentive and keen to provide any assistance required. Staff always pleasant and greet you on arrival. Refreshments always available to visitors.

My mother has been in Scholars Mews memory floor since the end of May 2017. She has settled in very well and as her needs change, they have been promptly met. When we visit the home is very welcoming and we are always updated with any news about my mother. I am extremely pleased with her care there.

The range of activities have really helped my mother's cognitive impairment and reduced her isolation. She is well fed and hydrated. I find her more relaxed and reassured as a result.

Had Christmas lunch at Scholars Mews Care Home. Six of us were there and the staff, food, service and care was superb at all times. Management and staff went on DUTY, the preparation which was made beforehand was very extensive as well as detail. First class surroundings with one and all having a good time. The atmosphere was electric and I heard of no complaints from anyone, young or old with good festive cheer all around. Every resident attended the lunch in the dining area.

All staff at Scholars Mews care Home were good but the nursing staff and agency nursing staff were truly exceptional.

Found it to be very clean and organised. The staff were friendly and working hard to see that all their needs of the people were catered for. I was impressed with all the aspects of the care given. Top Marks.
