Scholars Mews is set in the heart of historic Stratford-upon-Avon.

It provides care for the elderly with residential or dementia needs and also has facilities for nursing and respite care.

The home was refurbished in 2016 and has generously proportioned rooms with ¾ sized beds, a luxury cinema, well-stocked library, hair salon, cosy lounge areas and a dining room which opens up as a bistro to the public once a month.

The home happily accommodates couples and companions who wish to remain together as they continue their care journey and make new memories side by side.

Expert staff deliver round-the-clock care with compassion, supporting families, as well as the residents themselves.

The home has a team of energetic Well-Being coordinators who devise a programme of activities to suit all needs.

The home has good ties with the local community. Friends and family are warmly welcomed.

Residents can spend all year round in the beautifully landscaped gardens with the all-weather, multipurpose visiting pod.

We found all of the staff very friendly, caring, compassionate and very professional. My uncle was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. It was a great comfort to know that my uncle was safe and being well cared for.

Given that nowhere is going to be perfect for someone you care about, Scholars Mews comes very close. I have been visiting the home over the last six months and I am content that my father is well looked after and happy. I have found EVERYONE, across the board, extremely welcoming and helpful.
The
staff have established good relationships with my father. On the odd occasion I have dealt with the management they have been very responsive.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home.

All the staff were very welcoming and professional. From the caring staff to the housekeeping staff. My Mum, after settling in, thoroughly enjoyed her stay which allowed us to have a much needed break with the knowledge that she was well looked after. We would thoroughly recommend Scholars Mews to anyone

My Mum arrived at Scholars Mews in December 2018 for rehabilitation care following a lengthy stay in hospital after breaking her leg. On arrival at Scholars Mews, she was virtually bed-bound due to a complete lack of confidence, and every time she tried to get up she suffered from the most dreadful
panic attacks. However, assisted by the wonderful, caring staff, she soon began to make good progress and her mobility and confidence grew every day. After three months, Mum was mobile enough to return to her own home. I cannot thank the staff at Scholars Mews enough for helping Mum return to her usual self. They are all extremely kind, understanding and dedicated. I would highly recommend Scholars Mews to anyone who is looking for rehabilitation care for a family member.

Mum and dad came to Scholars Mews for respite in May last year and enjoyed their time here so when dad needed full-time care mum and I had no hesitation in choosing Scholars Mews for him. He has received exemplary care now for 4 months. The staff and facilities here are wonderful, his support requires
personal care and physical help at times and I feel that all staff are watchful, always alert to his wellbeing. Thank you Scholars Mews!

I was widowed on 23/2/18 and because of a resent coccyx injury I was unable to walk and was transferred to a local care home, this happened in Newcastle Upon Tyne. My closet relative is my maternal grandaughter who arranged for my transfer here Scholars Mews where I have no doubt I will remain until

All the staff at Scholar Mews Care Home were caring and professional. They were always welcoming in their approach to both residents and their families.

My husband's elderly uncle came to Scholars Mews just last week. He is 95 years old and has recently had a major heart attack. After living alone for a great number of years, we have found the staff very sympathetic to his situation.
He is treated with care and dignity. His well-being is high priority.

Scholars Mews is well led and this was evident from my first contact when we were looking for 24hour care for my mother who has Alzheimers disease. I have found staff diligent and caring whatever concerns have been raised. The lovely, clean, relaxing interiors are beautifully kept.
The range of activities
have really helped my mother's cognitive impairment and reduced her isolation. She is well fed and hydrated. I find her more relaxed and reassured as a result.
