My dad moved into Dukes Court after a long stay in hospital - unable to go home as no longer safe - lots of risks at home. Dukes Court I have found to be the perfect home - with loving, kind, professional staff who, within 1 week, understood my Dad's needs and wishes; medical and physical. It's a comfortable
environment that my dad feels safe in and has already started to interact with others and put on weight. Thank you.

Our lovely dad came to Avery Park Care Home in March 2024 he spent two years enjoying himself with wonderful carers who made him smile be happy and feel treasured.....a few weeks ago early may 2026 his heart got very bad he had three weeks in hospital .....when stable Hayley came to see dad and what
his new needs are .....dad needed medical nursing care and Hayley said they had space on the nursing floor for our dad we were relieved.
The next day when we returned with dad the staff had recreated dads room identically to his old room so dad would feel he was back home again .
Our dad has had and still is having wonderful care we could not wish for a better home full of love .
The staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble ,these fabulous carers and nurses tend to all dads needs I would highly recommend avery to anyone who needs care , they put all your worries to ease ...I would like to personally thank every member of staff here at Avery .........

Mum has been at Ashurst news for 5 years and although it has been through many changes she is happy there. However we are concerned that we have to monitor her for sores and get her care plan changed as her health deteriorates. The difference too when certain senior staff is in to others. Also the entertainment
compared to another home ( mother in laws home) is really lacking with lots of people bored in the afternoon - especially at weekends. Not many staff in then either.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Heidi and her team at Squires Mews demonstrate a caring attitude, a strong work ethic and attention to detail in everything we have seen since mum moved in some nine months ago.

All families taking the big decision to place a loved one in their care should be reassured of kindness and patience -

and that's accompanied by a sense of security - so important to us as we do not live locally.

We receive a weekly activity calendar that we circulate to trusted friends, so they can arrange their visits around the daily events mum enjoys.

It is the best decision this family has made, ensuring mum is in a comfortable and safe place, where she's made new friends and enjoys an active, and fun life.

Sincere thanks from us..

Since my Review posted June 2025 the consistently high standards have been maintained, especially as regards individual personal care, attention and welfare for my wife who has been resident for nearly 2 years and receives Dementia Nursing Care. The initial impressions of the high quality establishment
and surroundings are validated and then surpassed by the evident competence, continuous training and development, and overall professionalism of all staff in all roles. My high regard can be summarized by "if I should ever need such care, then please let it be at Spencer House".
Reply from Jan Davenport, Deputy Home Manager at Spencer House Care Home - Avery HealthcareThank you so much for your sincere and heart warming comments. We are proud and honoured to be able to care for you wife each day ,ensuing you are involved with every aspect. We are delighted that you still feel Spencer House is the perfect choice for your wife's care. We are proud of how our staff are able to demonstrate their skills, training and kindness to everyone they encounter. Your review is both touching and so personable and this means a great deal to us. Your review will be shared with all our team and we will endeavour to continue the high standards and expectations our relatives wish for.

My mum received the very best care at Seagrave House. The manager and her staff demonstrated genuine respect and care for my mum. All the staff, from senior management to cleaners and assistants, went over and above my expectations. They cared for my mum's physical health but also her mental health.
They organised activities around my mum's interests and spent time with my mum chatting and getting to know her. My mum enjoyed her time at Seagrave and felt very much at home.

Cliftonville Care Home is a lovely home. When you walk in it feels like you are in a hotel. The staff are friendly and approachable. They took great care of my Dad who sadly was only with them a short time before he passed away. Myself and my family take great comfort in knowing my dad was looked after
very well during his final days. Thank you to the nurses and care staff for doing such an amazing job.

I cannot thank everybody at Squires Mews for the care my father is receiving. His circumstances have changed since the new year and all the staff have helped us adjust. I would also like to thank Avery for accommodating my father and his care package. If only the NHS could be so considerate. I would

My mother was moved from hospital to Cliftonville in late February for palliative care. From the moment we arrived, both mum and the family were treated with the utmost care and respect. The nurses and carers and support staff were so kind and made mums final weeks as happy and as comfortable as possible.
Sadly, she has just passed but the extra care given on the night of her passing was beyond anything I could have wished for.
I would very happily recommend Cliftonville to anyone who needs their services. It was a joy to watch the teams there, speak and interact with all of the other patients and assist them in every way. They go out of their way to entertain residents and make their stay, a very happy one.

It means a great deal to us to know that your mother, and all of you, felt cared for and respected during such a difficult time. We will be sure to pass on your lovely feedback to our nurses, carers, and support staff, who will be deeply touched to know the difference they made.

My mother used this service for restbite. It is the third carehome in the last six months as she has both physical, and mental needs due to her progressive vascular dementia and Alzheimer's. In the past her physical needs have been neglected and she returned home with raw, sore skin.
The very day we
arrived at Dukes Court I was informed that they had preordered her barrier cream from her GP. The care, attention and kindness has been outstanding and as a family we could not be happier. We have decided that this will now be her permanent home.
Reply from Claire Keen, Home Manager at Dukes Court Care Home - Avery HealthcareThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly grateful for your kind words. It means a great deal to our whole team to know that your mother felt supported and cared for from the moment she arrived.
We understand how important it is for families to feel confident that their loved one's physical and emotional needs are being met, especially when previous experiences have been difficult. Knowing that you felt reassured right away, and that the steps we took to support your mother's comfort were noticed, is incredibly meaningful.
Our staff take great pride in providing compassionate, attentive care, and your feedback is a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do. We are honoured that you have chosen Dukes Court as your mother's permanent home, and we will continue to do everything we can to ensure she feels safe, respected, and well looked after.
