Ever since day 1 we have been so glad we chose Avon Valley for Mum. The staff are all superb - caring, extremely professional & always keeping us up to date with how Mum is. Special mention to both of the Stacey's, Terri & Sarah although all staff deserve a mention. Would definitely recommend Avon Valley

Lovely facilities and good range of activities for residents. Very well kept home and good standard of menus and food. Attentive experienced staff who are helpful at all times and provide excellent care for my 96 year old mum. Would highly recommend to others and friends.

The staff at Avonmere are caring, had working and thoughtful, treating everyone woth respect. The range of activities that they put on is brilliant. My relative is safe, well cared for and has many opportunities to engage. She loves having a cappuccino in the library or the garden.

Fabulous staff who, without exception, treat residents with kindness, respect and dignity. Amazing activities take place daily - my parents now have a better social life there than anyone I know! Highly recommend

When you walk into Avonmere you are always welcomed with a friendly smile from anyone who works there. There are always wonderful activities going on from singing, bands, nursery children visiting, various sports and games. The staff really care about all the residents who are in their care they know them well and try to find out personal things about them to make it a home from home place for them. It is a pleasure to visit Avonmere and something I very much look forwards to

Mum has been there over 3 years. Her physical and mental health has improved dramatically. All the staff are friendly and helpful. If there is a problem I am always kept updated. Plenty of activities daily. Mum is very happy and well cared for which gives me and my family peace of mind.

I have found the home to be very good and suitable for my husband all the staff in reception are helpful nothing is too much trouble good range of food and a good range of activities there seems to be lots of choice

After many turbulent and stressful months, we moved mum into Avon Valley and have already seen a huge improvement in mum's overall health and mood. The staff are unwaveringly kind, caring, thoughtful and professional, not just to mum but to us as a family. We are so happy that we are receiving this level of 5-star care. Words just cannot express how happy me and my sisters are that our parents are here. The staff are amazing, the activities are amazing, the food is amazing, everything is amazing!!. Over the last few years we felt like we had lost mum completely to her dementia. She was so unhappy. Since she moved here 8 months ago, its like we have her back again. Because she smiles and laughs again. We look forward to our visits to see her as its just a wonderful place to be. Dad is happy catching up on sleep that he couldn't do the last few years. Moving a parent into full-time care is one of the hardest decisions a family can make and a decision I can honestly say I had not been prepared for or considered I would ever have to make. My Mum has now been a resident at Avonmere for 10 months and no words can express the gratitude I have for the entire staff who from day one have treated her with dignity, care, compassion and the love. From the moment mum was welcomed into Avonmere the care has been nothing short of amazing. The staff don't just look after her physical needs; they genuinely care for her emotional well-being and treat her with so much dignity and warmth. A special thankyou must go to Samantha who has personally helped us navigate the entire process. Her leadership, compassion, and support during a very stressful time has meant the world. She and her wonderful team have created a truly remarkable environment within the care home setting that feels safe, welcoming, and like a true home. I am incredibly grateful.

Mum is very happy at Avon Valley. She always says the staff are kind to her. Mum likes the way she can choose to join in activities or just be left alone and enjoys it when she gets asked to "help". Walks when weather permits are a favourite. Cannot fault the food. She always says she is happy and content

My mum has been living in Avonmere for the past 3 years up until November last year my father was there also. She is very happy and enjoys all the activities especially seeing the variety of animals that come in from dogs and ponies to chick's and snakes! She lives on the memory floor and is so well looked after by the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful and love having her there. Her quality of life is exemporely for a lady of 91! I would highly recommend this delightful care home.

My Mother has been in full-time care at Avonmere Residential Care Home for 18 months and I would like to extend my thanks and praise to all the staff who look after her. The range of activities to help with mind, body and soul is wonderful and everyone is very caring, helpful and always a good sense of humour which is often required when residents are not always co-operative.

Just a few words for the on going care, help and wellbeing that takes place at Avonmere.All the team go above and beyond in ever aspect of the job from reception ,housekeeping ,catering ,care staff, seniors and the entertainment crew. They are all a credit to the home the way the residents who they look after diligently and are lead by a strong management team.My mother as been a resident for over two and half years and I know with confidence she is looked after and cared for in a wonderful environment with outstanding staff. Mum recently had a fall, we were told immediately and had further phone calls keeping us up to date on her progress, we were very impressed with the staff and the system put in place. The home itself is always clean and has lovely indoor & outdoor spaces. we honestly would recommend this Care home to everyone

We couldn't have wished for a nicer care home for dad, he has plenty of activities to attend, he has a beautiful room with ensuite and a lovely view of the garden from his window. All of his needs are met with kindness and dignity and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff whether it be maintenance/housekeeping/kitchen activities staff, the carers, reception staff or Management. Mum and I always look forward to our visits and enjoy taking part in the activities and talking with the various staff. I highly recommend Avonmere for your loved ones.
