Excellent decor, cleanliness, caring staff.

Ever since day 1 we have been so glad we chose Avon Valley for Mum. The staff are all superb - caring, extremely professional & always keeping us up to date with how Mum is. Special mention to both of the Stacey's, Terri & Sarah although all staff deserve a mention. Would definitely recommend Avon Valley

Lovely facilities and good range of activities for residents. Very well kept home and good standard of menus and food. Attentive experienced staff who are helpful at all times and provide excellent care for my 96 year old mum. Would highly recommend to others and friends.

After many turbulent and stressful months, we moved mum into Avon Valley and have already seen a huge improvement in mum's overall health and mood. The staff are unwaveringly kind, caring, thoughtful and professional, not just to mum but to us as a family. We are so happy that we are receiving this level of 5-star care. A member of the team said to me, we treat every day like a holiday and I think that sums up life at Avon Valley. Thank you all!!

Words just cannot express how happy me and my sisters are that our parents are here. The staff are amazing, the activities are amazing, the food is amazing, everything is amazing!!. Over the last few years we felt like we had lost mum completely to her dementia. She was so unhappy. Since she moved here 8 months ago, its like we have her back again. Because she smiles and laughs again. We look forward to our visits to see her as its just a wonderful place to be. Dad is happy catching up on sleep that he couldn't do the last few years. Mum is very happy at Avon Valley. She always says the staff are kind to her. Mum likes the way she can choose to join in activities or just be left alone and enjoys it when she gets asked to "help". Walks when weather permits are a favourite. Cannot fault the food. She always says she is happy and content

My mother was in Avon Valley for 41/2 years and was cared for with dignity + compassion to the very end. The team supported me + my family with end of life care ensuring a dignified end of life. We cannot thank enough the caring team, housekeeping team, chefs + front of house staff. All are kind, compassionate + make Avon Valley a 'home' for residents.

I have always found the home clean, tidy and well-run. There is an overriding caring attitude to everything they do. My Mother wouldn't want to of been anywhere else. Thank you.

The care, compassion and standard of love and attention my late mother received was exemplary. From the moment my mother became a resident, she was made to feel at home, and the staff did everything possible to make her stay as enjoyable and fun. Everything about this home is excellent, and my family cannot thank them enough for what they did.

Avon Valley had been recommended to me and I can honestly say it has been the best decision for both dad & myself after months of uncertainty of finding a good & safe place for him to stay.

All the staff, from the carer's to the management team, the receptionists and everyone working there are absolutely amazing. They are all so caring and patient with the residents and the whole place has a truly welcoming atmosphere.

From the moment you walk into the reception area you can feel that this place is a place where the residents are happy to be! My dad's room is really lovely with an ensuite bathroom & views out to the front gardens with a small patio area.

He is at last comfortable and being cared for in the manner that anyone having to go into a care home should receive and I would 100% recommend Avon Valley Care Home as a choice for a loved one to be placed.

Mum is generally happy there and I believe this is the best place for her.

I am so happy and satisfied with the excellent care received by my sister-in-law in this care home. They are so caring, thoughtful and make everyone feel special. My sister-in-law asked me why didn't she go there sooner.

Cannot fault the care home at all. Staff always polite, friendly, always willing to help if needed. Lovely atmosphere in the care home and with management always polite and helpful. My mum is really happy here. Always something going on with activities which is really good. Even when my mum was ill the staff were really good, nice to know my mum is in good hands and don't need to worry.

Lovely staff and facilities. Lots of activities are ongoing. Sometimes basic care could be improved eg old flowers left in the room, personal care/skin care. Think this is due to staffing numbers.

The care home and the staff are excellent and my sister who is a resident is very happy and relaxed living in the home.

Better communication between staff and family members needs to be addressed.
