This is a good care home and my father-in-law is happy here.

Beautiful home and lovely staff. Bedrooms are large and spacious, with a lovely private bathroom. The food looks delicious, and they have plenty of food choices. Lovely outdoor space/garden.

You are truly amazing, and it's a really special place!

My mum has been living in Avon Valley now for 14 months. What do we love about it? The amazing staff, the residents, the chats, the coffee and cake, the beautiful hotel-like surroundings, the cleanliness, the fun, the laughter, the support to the families, the wonderful activities, the garden, just everything. Avon Valley really is a wonderful, caring community of people who go above and beyond. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for all you do to make Avon Valley a home.

My mum has been in Avon Valley Care Home for nearly four months now and is finding it difficult to accept that she can't live independently anymore. The staff are incredibly patient with my mum, as she's always had a challenging personality which has steadily worsened as her dementia progresses. I think that it's a lovely home with lots of things to do and access to beautiful gardens when the weather permits, it's somewhere I would be happy to go myself if I can't look after myself anymore in the future. My review is for the time she has lived in Avon Valley rather than a specific month.

Dad has been at Avon Valley Care Home since November 2019. The home has always been kept clean and tidy and the staff have always been very accommodating. However, my only negative on what has been a mostly positive experience, is that I have asked various staff to keep an eye and prompt Dad about his general hygiene, on several occasions recently as he doesn’t appear to have been changing his clothes and keeps the same things on for weeks at a time. But, I haven’t noticed much change over the last month or so when visiting him.

I cannot thank Avon Valley enough for the care they showed to my mother over the last couple of months. All the staff went above and beyond in their care and compassion towards her in the short time she was with them.

Mum is very happy, so are we.

Very caring staff, always happy to assist. Could be more outings but always find something to do.

Very happy with everything since my father's been in the care home. All the staff are very helpful. The home is clean and tidy - rooms are spacious and clean.

My mum has been living at Avon Valley for two years now, and I think it is a super place with kind staff, excellent facilities and generally a very well-run care facility. It's a reassuring place where families can know that the residents are well taken care of emotionally and physically.

The staff have been fantastic and caring towards my grandmother but also very supportive of us, as a family.

Noticeably the staff seemed to want to interact with residents and visitors. The openness of the staff and the facilities was noticeable having seen some other homes, some of which were appalling. This is not the case here. Overall very happy.

All in all, Avon Valley is a very good establishment.

My mother is nearly a resident and has been made to feel very welcome. Mum has been a little confused but the care staff have been patient at all times. Whenever I have visited the reception staff already know who I am and greet me and are able to tell me where Mum is. I have had occasion to request information on her personal care and drugs given and within a reasonable time, the relevant carer made themselves known and allowed discussion of the problem.

This appears to be an exceptional care home. You get a feeling that the staff do an excellent job. They are caring, kind, and extremely attentive. The service is excellent the decor of the home is lovely. It's like home from home. It appears that all the resident's needs are catered for.

All staff are extremely professional, friendly and very helpful. Facilities are excellent.
