My mother moved into Edenbridge Manor yesterday. I was worried about how it was going to be, but it shouldn't have been. The reception was so lovely and welcoming, putting my mother (and me) at ease in her new circumstances.

Rivermere was our favourite care home when we were looking for somewhere for mum. The set up was perfect. The staff have all been wonderful accommodating mums needs as they change + develop. Would definitely recommend Rivermere.

The staff are very helpful and attend to the needs of the resident, they keep them very clean and patient with them. All the staff are friendly and the receptionist was amazing. It gives over all perception that my relative was receiving an excellent care.

Excellent facilities + activity schedules with a really very high standard of food. But what makes this care home really special is the staff. Always caring, attentive, happy and supportive, they make the home an enjoyable, relaxing and special place to be. Mum has been here for over 2 years and now
approaching 90 is in the best health she has enjoyed for years. The daily stimulation of exercise has worked wonders. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone.

Thank you so much to all the staff taking such good care of dad - especially during the norovirus outbreak which was not easy. And we couldn't see dad in this time - but coming back today I can see dad was in really good form and had been well looked after.

I wanted to express my sincere thanks to you and your entire team for the wonderful care my mum received during the three and a half years she lived at the care home. From the very beginning, we were always greeted with warmth and kindness, which meant so much to our family. This compassion was reflected
throughout the home - from reception to the kitchen, care, and medical teams - everyone showed genuine dedication and respect.


It was clear how hard you all worked to ensure my mum, and every resident, was treated with dignity, kindness, and care each day. Knowing she was surrounded by people who truly cared gave us great comfort and peace of mind. Thank you for creating such a supportive environment and for everything you did to make my mum's time with you happy and comfortable. Your efforts will always be deeply appreciated.

One of the most difficult decisions that a family member may have to make us to to arrange for full time residential care of a lived one.


When we visited Edenbridge Manor in August 2023 with my cousin, it immediately gave us a feeling of comfort and welcoming that put us all at ease, and pave the

way to have the 'difficult discussion'.


My cousin has been a resident since then, and celebrated her 100th birthday in 2024 - where the staff put on a party for her and around 25 of her visiting friends. Nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure she had a great day.


The care and attention to her health and well-being is wonderful, and gives us full confidence in the quality of the service provided by the team of wonderful staff.


A colleague of mine also has a relative in another of the Avery Care Homes, and feels the same support as we do.

Dad has now been a resident at Edenbridge Manor for almost a year. The carers look after him with great compassion. He enjoys the food, so much so that we have had to buy some more clothes as he is growing out of his current ones! Dad loves going out in the minibus to local cafes and it is really good
that he can have a regular change of scene. The home has the feel of a hotel and is kept lovely and clean. It is really nice to be greeted like a friend by the staff when we go to visit. It helps to make visiting much more enjoyable when you can talk to the staff.

The care our mother received for all of her time with you was excellent.
Especially the final 2 weeks of her time at your home.
The dignity and respect she was shown was a credit to all of those who cared for her.
As a family, we couldn't ask for anymore, Edenbridge Manor we would recommend 100%.

As much as I can see from my weekly visit that I make to see my sister I am confident that choosing The Avery last January has proved to be a good one. The building and its decor are bright and pleasant to be in. The layout is also spacious and the furniture is comfortable, with tv's in all the lounges
and rooms. The staff at all levels show a strong compassion towards the residents and provide physical and sometimes emotional support. Entertainment is provided every day by the staff which is hugely beneficial to the stimulation of the residents. I do notice that tea and snacks are always available and good quality food is provided by the canteens. I have only one point to raise which is, with all the above that is available I would like to see a routine of exercise introduced that would help shed some calories if there is not one at the moment.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to have three weeks respite care at the Miramar.
We were warmly welcomed and were impressed by the friendliness of all of the staff.
The food was excellent, particularly as my husband is 100+ and enjoys plain cooking.
Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom 'flatlet' was PERFECT
and we hope to go back for some more respite in the not too distant future!

Pleasure to come into. Food looks good. I have eaten lunch at Rivermere, a roast dinner and it was Delicious, presented well on plate. Staff I find are caring to residents and the visitors. The lead concierge is pleasant and welcoming.

Mum has been here for nearly a year and we have been very happy with her care. Her room is lovely and well looked after by the housekeeping team. Activities team are excellent and there is broad range of things on offer. Great care team, lovely food and gardens. Excellent cake.

My Nan has been in Elvy court since January and she has settled really well, previously she would not eat and used to be uncomfortable but since she has been there she has come out of her shell, she eats lots, always well groomed and even gets her nails done which she is proud of! I cannot fault the
staff they are all so friendly and make it feel like a home from home. Her room is always spotless and lots on the menu to cater for her

Mum's been at Elvy for about 5 weeks and has settled much better than we ever thought she would. We've been able to add our own touches to her room so she is surrounded by things that are familiar to her. She's being encouraged to join in the activities and is enjoying doing this. She's made friends
with other residents which is lovely to see. The staff are all lovely with her, and we are able to visit whenever we like. It was a huge step for the family moving mum to Elvy, but we can see that she is happy, which makes us happy. She's also safe here which is very very important to us.

My mum was only in Elvy court home for 6 weeks before she passed but in that little amount of time she was happy there, she said that her room was cozy, the staff was so lovely and helpful.what I liked about the home is how they catered for family with the coffee and tea machine and cakes.There was
so many activities for the residents practically every day, The home was clean and didnt smell at all, I would recommend this home to anyone, we as a family was happy with my mums care

Fourteen years ago my brother came to live here, the "Sunrise" Two years ago I joined him, choosing an excellent apartment overlooking a delightful garden. Services had not regained pre Covid standards but were adequate. During my residency standards have further declined, poor dining room experiences,
activities of no appeal to me and too many minor inefficiencies for contented living. Management seem more concerned with appearances to visitors and inspection than customer satisfaction. Residents meetings do not serve the deaf and shy. No one from management or customer services talks regularly say six monthly to each resident, in the comfort of their own rooms, to gain impression of their living experiences and why if dissatisfied, they don't leave. My reason is my apartment, and the friendly staff, but the quality of service is most disappointing.

We appreciate your thoughts and apologise that your experience has fallen short since COVID. Our team aims to stay connected through monthly meetings and one-on-one conversations with HODs to understand your feelings about areas like dining. Over the past 3 months, we completed a long awaited kitchen refurbishment, showcased during meetings & with signage. Our wellness team encourages resident participation and feedback to tailor activities. As announced in November, we're launching "Avery Moment" to gather insights for more personalised activities. We've also worked to meet standards set by our governing body, aiming to improve from 'good' to 'outstanding. ' Resident satisfaction is important, and we appreciate positive feedback from residents and families. We offer a 'Resident of the Day' programme where department heads meet residents monthly, & we plan to expand this to include management & myself offering meetings for ideas or concerns.
