Care Homes Owned by Avery Healthcare Group in Buckinghamshire

Having worked in the nursing profession I am aware of good basic nursing care that should always be delivered. Milton Court was very quick to accept the money to look after my mother. The care she recieved was extremely poor. I would not recommend anyone to use this care home if you want your loved one to be cared for in a human way when they can not speak for themselves.

My parents have been living at Cliveden Manor for over a year. Despite having very different care needs they are able to live together in a comfortable and spacious appartment. Beyond the excellent facilities, the most significant feature of this care home are the amazing staff. All are compassionate, friendly, helpful and approachable. My parents are treated with respect and as individuals. Any issues that have arisen have been dealt with quickly and in professional manner, with staff being accessible and approachable. It is always a pleasure to visit the home as it is warm and welcoming.

My mother stayed at Cliveden Manor for over a year and the staff were always very caring and adapted to her needs as she needed more, also differing levels of care. Both her, family and friends were always made to feel very welcome by the excellent reception and front-of-house team. She also received nursing care tailored to her needs and her personality. Good people. Nice people.

My mum is very happy at Beaconsfield Heights The staff are great, they are kind, caring, friendly and have made mum feel completely at home It is lovely coming to visit as there is always a warm and welcoming atmosphere and gives me great reassurance that mum is surrounded by people who genuinely care about her wellbeing. Mum has been at the home for 18 months and very much enjoys being part of the community There are always well thought out activities and trips and a wonderful garden where mum loves to spend her time.

I arrived at Milton House, having had a hip replacement operation. I was welcomed at reception and settled into a very comfortable bedroom with en-suite shower, tv and views over garden. The nurses were wonderful, always near by offering help as were the caring assistants. Three meals a day with tea and biscuits in between.

My father stayed at Cliveden Manor for two weeks's respite. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The residence is beautiful and very well equipped with a wide range of activities for the residents to get involved in.

My Dad has been a resident for nearly a year now & I would describe the home overall as average, there are some genuinely caring & dedicated members of staff, but unfortunately the standard of care isn't consistent. One of my biggest concerns is my Dad's personal hygiene, his teeth & general cleanliness are not always maintained to the standard I would expect, & this is something that needs more attention. I've also witnessed some staff being quite rough when handling him, which is upsetting to see. That said I do want to recognise the staff who consistently provide excellent care, Micheala is fantastic, she's kind, compassionate & professional. Alex & Ben are wonderful with him too, I do have concerns about another carer & worry that my Dad isn't receiving the level of care when she is responsible for him. The food could be improved as the quality isn't great. I hope this feedback is taken constructively.

The medical team have been excellent.

Beaconsfield Heights is a very friendly caring & welcoming home. My mother has been resident for over 3 yrs and her care has been excellent. Her room and all public areas are always spotlessly clean & staff are lovely.

We feel so lucky to have got Mum into Beaconsfield Heights Care Home from the first day Mum arrived she has enjoyed all the activities on offer & been so well looked after - so much so that during the week we moved into the neighbourhood ourselves I did not give Mum a second thought knowing she was so happy & well looked after - excellent

I do think the beds are low quality, he often complains of a bad back. We also struggle with personal property going missing but that could him.

Mother In Law is very contented. She is safe and comfortable. The staff are amazing with her and she gets a lot of attention. She is now sleeping a lot but when she is awake she is chatting and smiling. She will be 100 in October.

Food: 80% is nice. Fish dishes are not nice. Care: very good. Staff always listen. And care for each other. Room: bed is uncomfortable but understand difficult to do anything about. Activities: I don't do any but know they are there. Facilities: I get annoyed having to be hoisted, as feel it inconveniences the staff.

I am so grateful that mom was in a caring, clean and supportive environment in her final days.

My partner, who has advanced vascular dementia, has been part of the Milton Court family for 12 months. From the minute you step through the front door you are greeted with friendly smiling faces, and I can not fault the attention and care given to my partner. Any concerns I initially had were answered and dealt with speedily and professionally, and each time I leave I do so knowing that my partner is being well cared for.

Mum has lived in Milton Court for a couple of months now. Mum has made friends and is really enjoying all the entertainment and activities provided. All staff are kind and helpful. Communication is excellent. We know mum is safe and well cared for. Her room is kept clean and tidy. Mum is very well fed and tea and biscuits provided. When visiting mum we are made very welcome and I honestly can not fault anything.

My Mum has been in the home Since March, and she's much happier. Everyone is very friendly and kind, The home is beautiful and Mum enjoys the activities, the only thing I think she would like is to get out a bit.

Since my Dad moved into the home his overall health and his safety including specific needs have been handled professionally by all members of staff.

With Mum's changing care needs the staff have done everything they can to ensure her health and wellbeing are catered for From ensuring vehicles do not park right up to her window, blocking her view and causing her distress. To the chef changing her diet to ensure her health problems are eased with the correct food and drink

One point to make to Avery Healthcare. They must support the team at Milton Court and provide air con to the upper floors. I hope Avery listen as this exceptional team deserve the same care & respect they provide every day to residents and families
