My husband has now been a resident for about 6 weeks. The kindness and attention from every one of the staff is just amazing. He feels very happy and safe and its all down to the wonderful members of staff. Every one of them has endless patience and time and indeed love to give. Cannot thank these beautiful
folk enough for what they give in spadefuls to my husband and indeed to our family as a whole. Their support has been fundamental in his improvement in many ways. He just loves where he is. Thank you.
Reply from Karen Holmes, Home Manager at Cliveden Manor Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you so much for your incredibly kind words. Fromthe warm welcome on our arrival, right through to our leaving to go home, the staff were briliant, they could not have done more.
Make visually impaired residents aware at the beginning of the day, about the range of things/activities available in the day.
Improvements could be made catering
for those with poor or no visual abilities. Most activities could not be undertaken by visually impaired residents.
Food - The actual served food fell short of the menu description! A bit 'over-sold'.
Reply from Louise Palmer, Client Liaison Manager at Cliveden Manor Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you very much indeed for your review to us here at Cliveden Manor. I am delighted that you and your relative had a very positive experience and a warm welcome from all the team which was felt throughout the two week respite stay. Our Well Being Team do offer an extensive choice of activities throughout the day and into the evening which are enjoyed by most of the residents. However I do take on board your comments regarding activities for the visually impaired and this is something that we will be considering for the future. I do hope to welcome you both back to Cliveden Manor at some point in the future.

This place is like a breath from heaven. Having spent years dealing with my dad's health and having to resort to a care home, who could ask for more. Having doubted ourselves as to whether we can cope, I tried so hard to find the right place. Cliveden Manor is beyond my wildest dreams. Try as I might,
I can't find anything that is not utterly perfect. We are so happy and relieved. Everyone is wonderful. Thank you so, so much. We have been saved.
Reply from Karen Holmes, Home Manager at Cliveden Manor Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you so much for taking the time to share such a beautiful message. We are truly touched by your words.

We know how difficult and emotional this journey can be, especially after years of caring for a loved one and making such a significant decision. To hear that you feel relieved, supported, and at peace means more to us than we can say. It is exactly what we hope every family will feel when they come to Cliveden Manor.

Your trust in us is something we never take for granted, and we are so pleased that your father is settled and that you feel confident you have found the right place. Knowing that you feel saved by this decision is incredibly humbling for our entire team.

Thank you again for your kindness and for sharing your experience. It is a privilege to care for your father and to support your family. Please know that we are always here for you.

My father recently moved into Cliveden Manor and the improvement in his wellbeing has been remarkable. He has settled quickly, looks healthier, and is clearly enjoying life. The activities programme is outstanding, with a full schedule of daily events and brilliant days out that he regularly takes part
in. The team put real thought into keeping residents engaged and included.
The food is excellent, freshly prepared by a skilled kitchen team, and my father often comments on the quality. Staff throughout the home are warm, professional and genuinely caring, and the communication with families is always helpful and reassuring.
Cliveden Manor has given my father comfort, purpose and security, and I am very grateful for the care he receives. I would highly recommend the home.

My mother has been welcomed into a beautifully refurbished room with much kindness.
Customer liaison has been excellent throughout what was a potentially difficult move from Devon to Marlow - going above and beyond in managing to arrange a face to face pre-assessment.
Relieved and delighted all has

We have found the team at Beaconsfield to be excellent. Having looked at a few care homes, the team at Beaconsfield were found to be much more engaging with the residents, motivating and caring. Staff are always on hand, they seem to know each of the residents very well and and take the time to chat
to them. A good range of activities take place regularly and my mam is active in things I never expected from her. The restaurant and food are really good and cakes / tea etc in constant supply. The care home always answer the phone straight away, its not a call centre, its the reception desk located in the main lobby of the home, and they action any requests or concerns really well . I have found the whole team to be very supportive in what is obviously a really difficult time when a loved one needs to move into a residential care setting.
