Review from Julie C (Daughter of Resident) published on 30 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Milton Court has a nice, welcoming feel and all staff smile and say hello when passing in the corridor.

Management and admin are approachable and have an open door policy so it's easy to talk to them about any issues or ask their advice, as and when required, with no appointment needed.

The seniors keep a very close eye on the care of the residents and phone with any updates regarding GP visits, changes in medication, hospital appointments, dietary requirements, etc.

I feel 100% confident my parents are supported, cared for and safe.

Great to see Staff and Residents in comfort with air conditioning in ground floor.

Very disheartning to see staff and Residents suffering with Extensive heat with no air conditioning whilst Ground floor is enjoying air conditioning. I have extended my help via my work to invest in Avery Health Group to enable them to make much improvements, but no responses from Managements in past two weeks from their air conditioned HQ offices.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your recognition of the air conditioning available on our ground floor and understand your concerns regarding the warmer temperatures experienced in other areas of the home during the recent period of exceptionally hot...

My father has been in Milton Court for almost 6 years now. The staff are caring proactive and professional, I receive immediate contact regarding any updates on Dads health. My mother also moved in there in January 2025 they are able to spend time together after being 5 years apart. I have great respect for all that provide the care and support to both my parents.

Overall Experience
My Uncle was admitted to Milton Court as palliative care only. The care he received there was amazing and every member of staff treated him with empathy and dignity and made his last days as comfortable as possible. The nurses were excellent, caring and very supportive towards my Uncle and us family members.
When he passed away, the compassion shown by every member of staff was lovely and the empathy shown stood out to us all.
The guard of honour, when Uncle was leaving, was something we will never forget and was a fitting last memory of his stay there.
We were always made welcome, and the Home Manager showed great understanding of our suffering at the loss of our loved one.
We will miss visiting the home, where we were treated so well, and everyone was so welcoming.
Thank you to you all for everything you did for Uncle and all of us too, much appreciated.

Keep up the good work everyone, a credit to your profession.

Review from Sharee J (Stepdaughter of Resident) published on 29 August 2024 Submitted via Website

The staff at Milton Court are amazing. My stepdad had dementia and became bedbound, he stopped eating and drinking. The staff offered him whatever he wanted to try to get him to eat and drink something. They all took so much care to keep him happy and comfortable. When he passed away suddenly, all the staff were so kind to me and my sister and my husband. All the staff are amazing. I could not ask for better care for my stepdad. If it wasn't for the staff at Milton Court I don't think my stepdad would have lasted as long as he did. So I send them all a very huge thank you for being so kind and supportive to me, and my husband and sister.

We looked at several care homes and Milton Court was the only one recommended to us. A friend's aunt had been a resident and was very happy, so that inspired us with confidence. The staff are kind, caring and always friendly. Sadly my mum has declined over the years but her care has been carefully adapted, even by providing special food for her. We are very happy with our choice of care home.

The staff, every time/interaction since my Mum moved in have been lovely, caring, friendly, helpful and warm. We have not met anyone who isn't! The cleanliness is wonderful too and to have peace of mind too for the family that my Mum is safe and being cared for is lovely. It would be good to maybe have a few more physical exercises, more walking etc.
