My friend has settled well into the home. She is happy and joins in with some of the activities, (if they don't require her to move from her chair). The staff are always helpful to the residents and their visitor. I always feel welcome. I like the fact that the residents are card for as individuals,
having their independance when necessary. I am very impressed with the cleanliness and the beauty of all areas. I have already recommended Avery to friends and family.
Reply from Shannon Mapp CSM Customer Service Manager, Customer Service Manager at Greensand House Care Home - Avery HealthcareThank you for your amazing feedback. We are so happy she has settled so well and taking part in activities Greensands has to offer. The home is as much a part of the families and friends that visit as well as our residents.

My two weeks respite felt like staying in a high class hotel where everyone was very friendly and helpful. Practically everything was excellent but two things could be improved. 1. The activities staff were not always there on time or prepared. eg. when doing an activity in which they needed to record
the scores, they hadn't brought anything to record them on.
2. On a couple of occasions, care staff didn't look in after teatime until 2am.
I only give this feedback to provide opportunity for improvement on a service, which in all respects is excellent.
Reply from Sally Castro Gouveia, CLM at Camberley Heights Care Home - Avery CollectionDear Brian,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your two-week respite and that, overall, you found the experience excellent. It's wonderful to know that you felt everyone was friendly and helpful.
We also appreciate your constructive comments regarding the activities staff and the timing of care staff visits after teatime. Your observations are very valuable, and we will review these areas carefully to ensure improvements are made so that future stays are seamless in every respect.
We are grateful for your thoughtful feedback and your kind acknowledgment of our team's efforts. It helps us maintain the high standards we aim for and continually improve the services we provide.
Thank you again for sharing your experience and we hope to welcome you back in the future for another enjoyable stay.

Over the last year that our Dad was cared for in Memory Care, we felt he was very well cared for by a wonderful team that took great pride in what they did. They showed kindness & compassion towards Dad, & always brought out his sense of humour. They adapted their care as needed, & were
extremely supportive & kind to us all as a family throughout his stay there, & particularly at the end of his life.
Reply from Emma Meredith, Home Manager at Guildford House Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you so much for sharing these kind words. It means a great deal to know that your dad was cared for with kindness, humour, and genuine compassion, and that your family felt supported throughout his time with us and especially toward the end of his life. We're truly grateful for your trust.

My mother has lived here with dementia for four and half years. She is calm and content and enjoys the social activities and interactions. The staff are all friendly and welcoming to family/friend visitors and are usually aware of a resident's whereabouts. My mother's independence in her personal care
is respected, but appropriate support is given when required. There are bound to be a few minor glitches in any institutionalised care setting, but I have no worries about my mother's safety or well-being when I am unable to be there.
Reply from Colin Lingwood, Client Liaison Manager at Moorlands Lodge Care Home - Avery CollectionYour feedback is wonderful to hear. Knowing that you feel your mother is well cared for in our home is really important to us. This reinforces our commitment to provide a warm and supportive environment for all of our residents. We are always pleased to receive positive feedback about our staff, and this will be shared with our team.

Life for our family and elderly mum changed very quickly when she had a fall. Mom was in hospital in a full leg brace and needed respite care. On contacting Greensands we received so much help, kindness and reassurance. The transition from hospital to respite care was so impressive. The manager and
staff went above and beyond to accommodate mum in a very short time frame. Mum has now asked to stay indefinitely as she is embracing a new chapter in her life surrounded by love and care. How wonderful is that! Thank you all, so so much.

My Dad has been a resident at Bagshot Gardens for just over a year. I intentionally waited to leave a review, as I believe you should only make an assessment over a reasonable period of time.
Having done this, I can honestly say I'm impressed with the standard of care and living conditions at Bagshot
Gardens. The home feels warm and welcoming, the staff are in the main friendly and the facilities are in good condition and well maintained.
Dad is comfortable and happy living at Bagshot Gardens, and that's the most important thing.
Reply from Sue Ruff, Client Liaison Manager at Bagshot Gardens Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you are impressed with your fathers care and that Dad is happy here. Please let the management team know if there is any way we can improve your score.

My parents came to Esher Manor after my dad had been in hospital after a fall . Esher Manor looked after my father for the last six weeks of his life. The standard of care he got there was of the highest order. The carers did an excellent job and seemed totally dedicated to their work, while the supporting staff couldn't have been more helpful. Unfortunately, my father was declining
in health when he went into the care home, so he wasn't able to take full advantage of the many facilities they offer, but the food was tailored to suit him and, most importantly, as he soon became bedbound, they always seemed to have enough staff to keep an eye on him.

My mum, (89yrs) recently stayed at Esher Manor for two weeks of respite care, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the entire process was smooth, supportive, and reassuring. Joanna, who showed me around, was absolutely wonderful - she explained everything clearly and patiently
at a time when it can feel quite daunting with so many questions. She also remained incredibly responsive and helpful with any follow-up queries.
The staff were consistently caring, thoughtful and kind, and my mum was very well looked after throughout her stay. When she came home after two weeks, she was noticeably stronger and in great spirits. The delicious, nutritious meals and attentive care clearly made a huge difference.
When our family next goes away, we will book Esher Manor again without hesitation. Having complete peace of mind that my mum is safe, happy, and well cared for while we are away is truly invaluable - and the fact that she is very happy to return speaks volumes

The care home is not only beautiful, it's clean and neat with homely touches and stylish decor everywhere you look. The staff are incredible. Very caring, professional and friendly and always attentive to the residents needs.
The food is great, in particular the chef, Ash, did everything he could to
make sure my Mum had a great birthday party with a lovely buffet and delicious cake.
From the Manager, Gabriela, and all of her team there is a real sense of commitment and respect for the residents and I'm grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you x

I wish to express my utmost satisfaction with the exemplary care provided by Guildford House for my husband. He was a Resident there in 2022 having suffered a massive stroke. He returned home after 6 months stay but has returned on a regular basis for respite care.
The staff on all levels are incredible
and due to his lack of speech include him in all activities.
Due to my own aging process it has been a concern of the family to confirm alternative accommodation for my husband should the need arise. Without a doubt we all agreed including my husband that GH would be the home for him.
There are daily activities, periodic outings, celebrations acknowledged re birthdays, Saints days, commemorative days, sporting programs men's etc.
Food is excellent with a large variety of meals daily.
Gardens are a joy with plenty of shaded/ sunny sitting areas.
The
All in all a wonderful CARE home, where the emphasis is on care. I would recommend it without a doubt.
