Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home - Avery Collection

We chose Parklands for mum notwithstanding the relatively high costs in order to give her the highest quality of life in the last years of life. Despite her stroke, and being wheelchair bound as a result, mum had two and half years in the company of delightful, interesting residents and under the care
of an exemplary team in every respect. The physical surroundings and facilities are also of the highest quality, with regular organised activities to keep minds active. I cannot speak highly enough of the care provided by the nursing, carers and general staff. If you can't face your relative being consigned to a generic semi circle in a lounge dominated by a TV, have a look at Parklands. The marginal cost over a standard home is material, but well worth it.
Reply from Gabriela Smith, General Manager at Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and generous review. We're truly honoured that you chose Parklands for your mum's care, and we're delighted to know that she enjoyed two and a half years of companionship, stimulation and support with us.
Your kind words about our nursing, care and wider team mean a great deal - everyone is deeply committed to providing not just excellent care, but a genuine quality of life for our residents, whatever their physical challenges may be.
We're also pleased that the environment, facilities and activities made a positive difference for your mum and for you as a family. Thank you again for your trust and recommendation; it has been a privilege to care for your mum and to get to know her.

Silvermere Care Home - Avery Healthcare

from G H (Sister of Resident) published on 13 January 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We had to find a care home quickly so my sister could be discharged from hospital and settled before Christmas. We visited several and were really struck from our initial meeting by the feeling of warmth within the home as we were walking around. All the support in helping us sort things out moving
her from the hospital to becoming a resident was greatly appreciated. The difference we have seen in our sister in a few short weeks is vast which is a result of: getting her medication on time, lots to do, being made to feel welcome by everyone (staff and residents), good food and the feeling of reassurance she now has if she feels unwell at any time of day or night! The staff can't do enough to help her (and us) make sure she feels at home. She already wishes she'd moved in months ago! The relief for us not having to worry about what the next phone call will bring has been huge. Thank you.
Reply from Will Hammond, Customer Liaison Manager at Silvermere Care Home - Avery HealthcareThank you for sharing such a lovely review. We're delighted to hear how well your sister has settled in and that the move has brought comfort to both her and your family. My mum is looked after well. Some staff go above and beyond and are keen to check in on her.
GEnerally all things are good & very satisfactory, but if things are not, my mums bale to talk to the staff and feels she is listened to.
It would be lovely if the carers were allocated more time to be able
to chat & socialise with the residents, etc., rather than be very tight on times.

My father resisted moving to a care home for a long time, but in September this year he had a couple of falls and after a few weeks in hospital he decided he did not want to go back to his own home. I was initially concerned that he might find it hard to settle in but my fears were groundless. From
Day One the nursing staff went out of their way to meet his needs, and the friendliness of all members of staff has really helped him. He is happy, settled and receiving excellent care.
Reply from Sonia Weller, Client Liaison Manager at Rosebery Manor Care Home - Avery CollectionThank you for taking the time to leave a review for Rosebery Manor. Many enquiries are not always in need for immediate admission. It can take a little time for the benefits of onsite care and nursing support to fully confirm the decision to move from a family home. We are so pleased that this has worked well for your father who made his own informed decision to join us at Rosebery.

Just waned to take time to write a review about Esher Manor Care home, Surrey.
My mum has been a resident there for 2 months now and I cannot tell you how happy she is. We tried a couple of care homes beforehand for respite but I have to say this place puts the others to shame.
As you enter the care
home it's like entering a hotel lobby, lots of people sitting around drinking coffees, chatting with music in the background, such a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The carers and the team are amazing with activities in the morning, singers in the aft and movies in the cinema room in the evenings. The outings and activities are endless and the resident rooms are spotless.
The carers and management team really go out of their way to make sure my mum is having the best time.
So glad I found this place for my mum and will be definatly recommending it. If mum is happy we are all happy. Thanks you Esher Manor Care home........Susan

The warmth and respect from staff towards residents is exemplary. I am so impressed by the quality of interactions I have observed. Residents are treated equally and as individuals. There is a bonhomie that makes Silvermere a very pleasant place to be, as a visitor and as a resident. The food is
delicious and plentiful. Activities are varied and a real effort is made to get to know the residents and their likes and dislikes.

My parents moved into Greensands House Care Home in November, and the compassion and care we have all received has made our parents' transition into residential care so much easier. This was a new experience for me and my brother and we were supported by the Greensands team with kindness and understanding.
Our parents are now settled and happy, we haven't seen them looking so well cared for, for a long time. They are being gently encouraged to participate in the activities and life has started to be enjoyable for them again.
Visitors are warmly welcomed and Greensands has a real 'family' feel about it. We can't thank them enough.
Reply from Shannon Mapp, Customer Service Manager at Greensand House Care Home - Avery HealthcareThank you for your beautiful feedback. It means so much to us all seeing how well and happy they are both are.

The experience starts when you walk through the door and get a warm friendly greeting at reception. First impressions as you look around you see carers assisting the residents in a warm friendly manner, also interacting with them. I find all members of staff very helpful. My step father is very happy
in his surroundings and interacts with other residents, this reassures me and my family that he is in good hands.
