My mother went into the home on 10th July 2025 as was very upset at having to leave her own home. The staff made her so welcome and nothing is to much trouble. The food is outstanding and the daily programme of activities is really good and my mother has enjoyed joining in with the other residents.
She has had a few wobbles since she has been there but the staff have been fantastic at calming her down and putting her mind at rest. My sister and I were worried about how she would cope but are so pleased with how everything has gone. It has given us peace of mind knowing that she is receiving such good care and there is always someone there to help and talk to
Reply from James Hemy, Client Liaison Manager at Virginia Water Care Home - Avery Collection

Thank you so much for your kind words. We have all loved helping your Mother settle in with us here and she has become a huge part of the community. My Mother has been living in Bagshot Gardens for over a year now and as a family we are extremely pleased with the care she receives. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and we are kept up to date with all aspects of mums care. The home is beautiful and always clean and tidy and the outside
gardens are immaculate and somewhere beautiful for us to take mum when we visit as she loves all the plants! She is regularly taken on trips and particularly enjoys when they have events on and the singers. I would highly recommend Bagshot Gardens.

I have now lived at Robery Manor for 8 months. Throughout that period I have felt welcome and enjoyed my time. I am enormously impressed with the friendlines and co-operation af all members of staff and have been very happy. The accommodation is excellent. My only criticism is that in the current
period of hot weather the limited ventilation is insufficient - while I imagine that I can understand the reasoning but surely it is possible to improve ventilation and still give security.
Overall I would class the standard of catering as very good. I tend to provide my own breakfast in my rooms. I regularly have lunch in the restaurant (first floor) and the menus is excellent and the quality of food is equally good. Overall eating there is pleasantly quiet. I am less happy with the suppers, these are only available in one's rooms or n the ground floor restaurant. While the quality of the food is good the restaurant becomes overcrowded and noisy and the menus less imaginative.
Reply from Lorraine Hardy, General Manager at Rosebery Manor Care Home - Avery Collection

Thank you for your positive review, it is great to hear that overall you rate Rosebery Manor very highly and it is lovely to have you as a resident.I take on board your feedback regarding the ventilation in the warmer months and this is something that we will continue to look into. With regards to the evening meals in the Bistro we will review our numbers and look at the possibility of opening the second restaurant if it is needed. I shall ensure that the Head Chef receives your positive feedback as well as the constructive feedback regarding supper. It is a pleasure to have you with us at Rosebery Manor and I hope that the team can continue to make your time with us an enjoyable one.

I have been very happy here at Bagshot Gardens Care Home, and extremely well looked after in all departments. Huge compliments to all yr teams for how they operate. Of particular importance to me in respite was the willingness of care staff to assist me with dressing and washing, the efficiency with

This was my husbands first experience in respite care at a nursing home. He stayed for 2 weeks. He has vascular dementia and vascular Parkinsonism . The staff were very caring, friendly and efficient. He has benefited from the care and stimulation he received and he has come home a happier person. His

Camberley Heights is an amazing care home. From your lovely welcome, without fault every time from the reception team and in fact any member of staff that you meet. Including the amazing cats especially Christopher which is delightful. We admitted my father in law January 2025 and every member of management
and administration were superbly professional throughout.
All that aside the real "meat and veg" is the incredible care for my father in law. Nothing is too much trouble, everything is acted upon with no reservations and the friendliness, professionalism and care is superb. Thank you to all the team in these challenging times.

My dad has been in Guildford House for approaching six years. They have been very happy years. I regularly see the staff in action and I'm always impressed by the way they go about their roles. They clearly get to know all the residents very well and in my dad's case, they encourage the witty side
of his personality. It's good to see him chuckling and interacting so comfortably with them.
The home is a very positive and happy environment, helped by how light and bright it is. There is an ever-present sense of kindness, warmth and caring whether from the carers, the nurses, the dining room team, the cleaners or the many others in the wider team. The food is excellent and there are many activities for the residents, including trips out. I was delighted to hear that he'd been out to the pub with some other residents. It seems like one big happy family.
I have no hesitation recommending Guildford House

After my Mother was discharged from rehab hospital after having her hip replaced we found that her existing carers at her home were finding it increasingly difficult to look after her with her restricted mobility. At short notice we needed to find a care home and organised a thorough tour of the Virginia
Water Care Home and organised everything to ensure a smooth transition into the home. All the staff have been very friendly and understanding and we have the comfort of knowing that she is in a safe environment and being well looked after.

Mum spent 9 days at Esher Manor whilst myself and family went on holiday.
She was understandably a little anxious before she went but once she arrived the staff were so warm, welcoming and kind, she was completely reassured.
Whilst we were away, we were kept updated with emails and photos of Mum
and the activities she was taking part in. There are numerous activities daily, which residents are encouraged to join in with but are not compulsory.
When we arrived to collect Mum, she was so happy and relaxed and thoroughly enjoying listening to a singer.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Esher Manor and would say the staff are nothing short of amazing!

After my foot operation I spent a week in respite care at Esher Manor.
I found all the staff polite, friendly and very helpful. The room was well laid out and the bathroom facilities were excellent. As I was recovering from an operation I had all my meals in my room, the food being tasty and the room
service from the staff being very responsive.
If my situation ever warranted another spell in respite care I would certainly go back there.

My mother-in-laws need for a care home suddenly became a matter of urgency but after viewing various different options Camberley Heights just felt right. We had her moved in within a couple days with the help of the amazing admin/care team. The first day was a bit overwhelming for her but within 24
hours she was smiling and cracking jokes and was starting to get used to the idea of being looked after. It's still early days and we are all still finding our feet but it's such a relief to see that she is happy, she is being offered amazing freshly cooked food and she has a lovely team of carers to attend to her 24 hours a day. I bet she will wish she'd done this ages ago!

From our initial contact, to mum visiting, having respite care to moving in, they were all wonderfully kind & helpful. The care, kindness and friendship given by all the carers is exceptional. Mum enjoys the food, an important part of the day. However, they appear to be very understaffed which means
requests can take far longer than expected. Unfortunately, on several occasions meals have been delivered late so they are not very warm and a couple of times not arrived. However, the staff work very hard and try to do everything in a timely manner, it's just they need more of them.

The staff have been marvellous in settling my mother into their community. My mother celebrated her 100th birthday not long after moving in, and the staff made sure that her day was extra special for her. They are friendly and welcoming to us, as family and to other visitors who have called in to see
my mother. The staff are on hand to answer any queries we may have, and we are reassured that our mother is being looked after really well.

Your kind words are really appreciated and the team will be so pleased to read them. It's lovely to see how well your Mother has settled in and it was a real privilege to celebrate her 100th birthday with her here. We all look forward to seeing you and the family very soon.

Rosebery Manor Care Home - Avery Collection

My Mother moved here a week ago. We couldn't be happier with the high standard of care. So many small details to make her stay enjoyable. The home is very clean and welcoming. Food choices are excellent. Residents can order something else if they don't fancy the menu. Menus are restaurant style. There
are lots of appealing activities. Already she says things like don't visit in the morning I will be at Thai Chi. She commented to me that everything revolves around Residents wishes not staff convenience. Every member of staff has been exceptional, so friendly and willing to help. The garden complete with help yourself ice cream is lovely. The cafe where Residents and visitors alike can stay for drinks and snacks is a great concept. Her flat is light and airy. Having a sitting room ,bedroom , bathroom and kitchenette makes it feel so much like home. Supervision is unobtrusive, she chose to be checked on every 2 hours at night. Residents have a pendant to call staff.Overall 5*
