My husband and I were chartered to the Respite centre earlier this month. The travel was a traumatic experience for both of us. But after 36 hrs travel we were met at the Avery Home with open arms, warm drinks, and a plate of sandwiches. They wrapped up my husband in arms of care and understanding.
He was helped to his room, put in a bed and mattresses were also arranged for me to stay with him as we were both traumatised and exhausted after a long and complicated flight home.
The care shown to my husband since his arrival by each staff member is one of dignity and compassion.
My husband is settling daily and I know that he will now be in a safer, & happier, environment.
I have to mention here about his regained appetite. He loves the food at the Home and is at last eating and finishing his meals. He had lost a lot of weight prior to his arrival but now slowly getting back his strength and energy levels. Great to see all unfold!!

My Grandfather was a resident at Esher Manor from October 2021 until his sad passing in June 2026. The family have always felt very at ease and comfortable with the exceptional care and dedication provided by the staff at Esher. My Grandfather was a cherished resident and he always appeared to be relaxed
and settled in the surroundings.


The home provides spacious accommodation in a clean, well kept environment. They regularly plan activities which residents can opt in or out of at their choice. We believe we made the right choice in moving my Grandfather to Esher Manor and the duration of time he spent there was testament to how well he was being cared for (He was 95 when he passed).

I live in Devon and try to visit dad at least once a month. My observations are based on my latest visit. When I arrived dad was in his room, he looked relaxed and comfortable and his room was clean and tidy. I was with him at lunchtime and he enjoyed his food. It was a walk day so I took dad into the
garden. The staff who are always friendly and helpful, assisted dad into his wheelchair. Dad loved being outdoors and enjoyed a tour of the grounds, which are very well kept.

Choosing a care home can be difficult but after seeing this one from the very first day. I know they/I would be very happy. The staff and management have gone above and beyond to make my aunt and her twin sister feel at home. I cannot recommend Virginia Water care home highly enough!

My friend has been in Virginia Water Care Home for around 14 months now. She is in the dementia care unit. Everything to keep her comfortable, safe and feel valued has been done for her, sometimes over and above. This last visit was and open evening with food and entertainment. All was top class and

I was impressed with Esher Manor from the first time I visited to see if it would suit my Mother. The staff were welcoming and all said hello. The manager knew all the residents names and greeted them all. The atmosphere was calm and residents appeared content. The facilities are lovely and the garden
is very well designed.
Mum went in for a trial and my initial impressions have turned out to be correct. It is a huge adjustment for her but the staff are understanding and gently encouraging. She has decided to stay in her lovely room. I would recommend anyone looking for a care home in the area to consider Eshe Manor.

I'd like to express my gratitude for the care my father received at the end of his life.
Having been in a prior home Virginia Water was so much better. The staff seemed happy to be there and the place felt comfortable and relaxing. The carers also seemed very happy and able to deal with my father
and showed genuine affection.

My Mother was a resident at Esher Manor from November 2023 until May 2026 when she sadly passed away at the age of 94 years. My Mother was always extremely happy and found it easy to make friends with other residents, but most important of all she was extremely well cared for and had much praise for
all the wonderful staff. For my part, it was important that my Mother settled into her new home where she was cared for by kind, caring and devoted individuals and this was apparent in abundance, throughout her time with them.


My sincere thanks for all my Mothers care and devotion given by all your staff members.

My friend has lived here for several years and has been well cared for. The standard of hygiene and catering is very high. Inevitably their have been some issues arising but these have been resolved by the manager very well. As a visitor, I have always felt welcome and confident that my dear friend
well cared for. My only reservation is the high costs.

I've been a volunteer at Virginia Water care home since February 2026 and never had an issue. In fact, I have been quite happy volunteering there every weekend. Both the staff and residents are welcoming, and I truly felt like I was entering a second family. I enjoy coming here every Saturday, knowing
I will be greeted by lovely faces, happy to spend time together and share stories. Whether it's helping with activities or simply having a conversation, every visit feels meaningful and rewarding. Volunteering here has not only allowed me to give back to the community, but it has also brought me a great deal of joy and experience for my future. It is a truly wonderful and positive environment.

Mum went into the home for respite, she loved it, we love it, food is fantastic, carers exceptional, they have such a good time. She has now been there a year, and has been very well looked after, no worrying about her, just amazing visits. Thank you to all the staff, for their care to her she is
101 next month.

Moorlands Lodge Care Home - Avery Collection

I have been in Moorlands Lodge for a week at the time of writing, after 3 weeks in hospital, and the contrast in the surroundings is stark. Moorland Lodge is freshly decorated and immaculate. The staff are, without exception, caring and delightful. I can't imagine a better place to recover from a broken
hip.
