I am very happy with the staff that work here. They are happy and smile when they see you. They are all good at what they do. My mum is very happy living here. Also a lot fo the staff have come from Branfield where my mum was before coming here so she knows a lot of them by name and they know my mum.

My Mum has been at Camberley Heights for 5 months. In April the senior staff recommended that Mum move to a more secure floor as this would be better for her from a safeguarding point of view. The move was arranged in a matter of days and carried out in a kind, caring and efficient way. Due to this
my Mum has settled into her new apartment smoothly. All staff knew my Mum was moving and have ensured a seamless transition. The staff are kind, caring, friendly and professional.

Guildford House Care Home - Avery Collection

from Robert H (Son of Resident) published on 17 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Guildford House cared for my mother, from late November 2024 until her passing in March 2025. She entered the care home after an extremely traumatic time, which included the passing of her husband, a diagnosis of terminal cancer with little time to live, and a house fire which left her in hospital and
unable to return to her home.
From the first day, Guildford House staff took her under their wing and welcomed her with great kindness and professionalism. Her stay, although difficult given her condition, was a wonderful example of humane and enjoyable interaction. Mum made friends in the short time she had left, and had many visitors to the wonderful, bright home. I knew little about the care sector before, but the Avery team showed that it can be glorious even through very difficult times.

Reply from Andreea Fratila, Director of Community Relations at Guildford House Care Home - Avery Collection

Esher Manor Care Home - Avery Collection

from S H (Daughter of Resident) published on 16 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 1.0 out of 5

Very unimpressed with the duty of care at Esher Manor (EM). EM was informed that Mum wasn't well and needed monitoring due to possible UTI and therefore likely to have a fall as previously happened. EM informed us she was fine, which we disputed at the time and asked for her to be monitored closely.
An hour later, EM called to say Mum had had a fall & paramedics had been called. 10 hours in A+E, horrific bruising, swelling & 2 fractures to her face, which could have been prevented if EM had listened - not impressed at all. To confound matters, the manager of Esher Manor ignored us when we moved Mum out a few days later. Mum had been there for 2 years! The CEO of Avery Healthcare, who despite saying he'd 'look into the matter' (a phrase used far too often by Avery and certainly by EM) has not followed up (again something that happened often at EM).

My mum has been at Camberley Heights for 2 yrs starting on the nursing floor and moving to The Lodge (dementia floor). I dreaded the day she went into care but she has been so happy - the facilities are superb, the food lovely, the activities varied and most importantly the staff are amazing. Everyone
is so caring and patient with my mum whose illness means she can't express her thanks, but I am so grateful - thank you all xx

My father moved into Esher Manor following surgery for a replacement hip and being unable at well over 90 to be able to look after himself independently any longer. His move in was well-managed, and he was immediately made welcome by both staff and other residents. He has enjoyed the sociability of
Esher Manor and many of the activities. Regrettably, his health has more recently declined, but the levels of care and attention have been excellent.

excellent support for my father for his respite care and then subsequent residency. The team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. From the moment you enter through the door to everyone we met we were made to feel very welcome, The residents i spoke to were all

At short notice, admin and care staff arranged my visit, a short post operation recovery stay that was impressive, my needs and requirements were met by the amazing staff across the home. Being "looked after" so well meant I could concentrate on my post op recovery and rehab. A mix up over end day of
stay was no more than unfortunate. All my expectations were met.

from Peter S (Resident) published on 7 April 2025

Silvermere is an excellent care home with both myself and my wife being residents. Care for those suffering from dementia is outstanding as this tragic disease is so difficult to manage with various conditions. The staff are always caring thoughtful and gentle in spite of the many challenges they
often face. As with any organisation there are occasional issues but these are always responded to quickly and carefully either by the senior management or staff when asked.. I could not recommend this Care Home highly enough.

Moorlands Lodge Care Home - Avery Collection

from C H (Daughter of Resident) published on 3 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My father recently needed 3 weeks in hospital, his return to Moorlands has been handled brilliantly. The extraordinarily dedicated team have all gone above and beyond their duties and it's important to say how much we appreciate it.
We were offered strong support whilst he was actually in hospital
keeping in touch with the hospital medic to medic when our family received very contradictory and confusing feedback from the ward nurses. Dad has been diligently observed since his return, Moorlands doing everything in their power to restore as much dignity as possible.
Staff have also provided sagely counsel helping establish a different kind of relationship with my father since he has been back, as he is in a much reduced and vulnerable state. Invaluable wisdom and warmth was offered at a difficult time when the dynamic as father and daughter altered dramatically. I will always remember the kindness and patience. Thank you.

from Tina W (Daughter of Resident) published on 3 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

After a hospital stay, my mum agreed to having some respite care. I visited a couple of care homes that offer this service, Chertsey Parklands Manor was one of them. I was very impressed with their building and surroundings, the staff were all very friendly on this visit and I was suitably impressed
on behalf of my mum and felt this was the sort of place she would like. We were shown all the facilities they had to offer and even the room that mum would stay in. Mum had to go through their assessment process and was booked in with a few days of our initial visit. Mum had a 2 week respite visit and she was so grateful for the care she received during her visit. Every single member of staff was approachable, helpful and had a smile for everyone. The whole family enjoyed their visits in these wonderful surroundings and the hospitality offered to family and visitors alike. Would throughly recommend and mum would stay again if the need was there.
