I am very appreciative of the numerous cups of tea, biscuits and the occasional treat of a dessert, when I visit. Esher Manor arrange a varied programme of activities, which I think at times are incredibly inventive. So there is always something to talk about and since these are posted on social media it keeps me informed of what is going on in my mother's life. After a visit I always have this uplifting thought. Esher Manor was the right choice for both of us.

I joined Signature at Esher as a Senior Care Assistant Wellbeing in February 2019, I was then promoted to Dementia Care Manager in November 2019. I enjoy working with elderly people, especially with dementia and the smile on their faces gives me a sense of achievement. Starting out in the kitchen, I have been fortunate to build my career from kitchen Commis Chef to General Manager within four and five-star hotels in both the private and branded sectors.
Along the way I have been able to travel extensively both in the UK and Internationally, working alongside many creative individuals, teams and cultures. My journey has also included hotel openings, rebranding, concept development and major renovations.
I am now excited to take my next career step into the healthcare sector, something I have been considering since closing down Hendon Hall as a hotel and prior to handing over to Signature at the beginning of 2019, and know my passion for people, food and service will transition smoothly across from hotels.
