This is the second visit to Esher Manor. I am here to give my diabetic 93-year-old husband a break. However, the family felt it would be better if he joined me here. All the carers are kind, patient and very obliging even new recruits and agency people. I was given a suite that was comfortable and complete with a fridge, kettle, television and a lovely double mattress (bliss). After my last visit of 13/14 weeks, I had put on 3 stones due to all the super food.
Thank you for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that you returned as a resident really appreciate your review.
The home is warm, welcoming and with exceptional friendly and distinctive service. The home is safe and secure and displays a high duty of care towards all residents. The home is well led and feedback is always welcomed. The home is kept to a very high level of cleanliness and kept very tidy, and you can see and feel these efforts when you go around any part of the home.
The care and support is outstanding and you are treated with dignity, respected as an individual, and treated with compassion at all times. The care is responsive and supportive and wellbeing is at the forefront. There is lots of variety of activities and outings that caters for all needs. The garden grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The home is very well maintained and finished with quality and classy furnishing. Laundry service is of high quality with fresh smelling and well pressed clothes/sheets.It's just a Fabulous Home!
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. The Team at Esher Manor are really appreciative of your comments, and look forward to family and friends visiting our home. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.
We have been fortunate to find Esher Manor for respite care for my Mother after she came out of the hospital. The care and support she has received have been excellent, and being so well-supported has enabled her to recover without the stresses and strains of managing day-to-day life. As she has regained her strength, she has been helped and encouraged to do more, and she is getting used to going out and about again, knowing she has the safety net of the home to return to as long as she needs it. All the staff we have met have been superb, and from our family’s perspective, the arrangement has taken away our worries that she might struggle to manage on her own. Whether for permanent or temporary care support, we would highly recommend Esher Manor.
Thank you for taking the time to review Esher Manor, we are delighted that we have been able to support your mother with her respite care.
Mum went in for 2 weeks respite, stayed 4 weeks before having to go to hospital. Sadly, couldn’t return due to them not being able to have oxygen which Mum needed. Whilst in their care, the staff were lovely and saw the same faces which was good. Food was excellent and Mum enjoyed the piano players and singers that entertained a couple of times a week.
Thank you for your kind words for the team at Esher Manor.
My Mum went in to Esher Manor for a 6 week respite stay, Choice of rooms were available. Lovely room and common areas - nicely decorated. Staff are very friendly and treated her well. Would not hesitate to recommend.
The Team at Esher Manor are delighted that we were able to support your mum with her respite care and really value your feedback.
Thank you all for the care and compassion shown to my mum over her past two-and-a-half-year stay. Mum was always very happy here. The warmth and comfort shown were always very evident whenever we visited. Mum enjoyed the activities and company which you all provided and towards the end, it was clear that each and every member of staff wholeheartedly did their utmost to provide the best level of service possible.
My mother entered the care home during Covid lockdowns - from that point on her levels of care have been excellent. She benefits from a varied and regular entertainment programme which includes exercise and trips out. We are particularly impressed with the low level of staff turnover - we see the same smiling faces on every visit.
Thank you for sharing your experience for your mother and family with Esher Manor Care Home. We appreciate you taking the time to review us, and look forward to seeing you on your next visit.
My parents first moved into Esher Manor care home in September and the care from all staff has been exceptional. Unfortunately, my father recently passed away due to health conditions and my mother has Alzheimer's. The care home was very accommodating by hosting the funeral reception in order for my mother, who is bed-bound, to be present with her family. The staff went above and beyond during the reception and the professional hospitality team provided an incredible buffet with refreshments. All staff at Esher Manor have been warm, friendly and brilliant communicators, whilst caring for my parents. I could not recommend the care home highly enough and want to thank them for all their support and outstanding care.
Thank you so much for writing a review for Esher Manor. It was our pleasure to be able to accommodate everyone at the funeral reception. Thank you for your kind words which will be shared with the Esher Manor Team.
My Dad spent a week of respite care at Esher Manor following a 2-month spell in hospital, where he lost a lot of weight and strength. The staff were amazing - kind, attentive and competent. They were completely on top of his complex medicine regime, giving us a bag of pills and a timed schedule when we took him out for the day. One member of staff went out of his way to encourage my Dad to walk to the bathroom in order to build up his strength and mobility when it would've been so much quicker and easier for the carer to just empty the catheter bag himself. The food was imaginative and appetizing, which was a priority for us, as we wanted him to recover his appetite. I'd certainly use Esher Manor again to help an elderly relative convalesce after illness.
We are delighted at Esher Manor that we were able to support your dad following his long spell in hospital. Thank you so much for your kind comments and we wish your dad a speedy full recovery.
When my 91-year-old stepmother broke her ankle, I called round care homes in a bit of a panic as her being admitted to hospital left my 94-year-old father with advanced dementia, living on his own, which although he disagreed, was simply not an option. The client liason manager was very helpful and understanding and unlike other homes I called, seemed to grasp the situation better and was attentive in her calls and updates to me, whilst not bombarding me. As things turned out we ended up having my stepmother go to Esher Manor on her discharge from hospital to continue with her rehabilitation and my father joining her at Esher Manor, which he was simply desperate to do. Having his routine disturbed so abruptly and violently meant he was not the easiest of residents but the staff were very patient and calm and looked after both of their different needs well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Esher Manor. We are delighted that we were able to help with your stepmother and father during her injury, and hope that they are doing really well back at home.
We as a family continue to be very grateful to all the staff at Esher Avery Manor for keeping our Mother happy, safe and superbly cared for. She is genuinely very happy there and enjoys involving herself in all kinds of varied activities available. Thank you Esher Avery Manor.
The team are delighted with your comments, and we hope to see you visiting over the Christmas period.
My mother first came into the care home at the beginning of August 2023, since then she has received outstanding care from all of the staff. It is good to know that she is being looked after so well as it was no longer possible for our family to take of her daily needs. Mum really enjoys the musical activities.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we really appreciate your comments and are delighted that your mother is enjoying the musical activities. Thank you.
We were greeted by all staff with with a 'warm welcome' and shown around the home by polite, friendly and professional staff.
Explaining in detail how the home was managed, the many activities on offer for my mother to enjoy and the lovely meal options on offer from the restaurant, we also sampled the lunch, which I must admit was extremely delicious.
I am pleased to report that my mother is now residing in Esher Manor and has settled in very well, making new friends, enjoying all the activities and the company of all staff.
The home is very well decorated and my mother's room is very spacious and well-equipped.
I have visited my mother ar Esher Manor on several occasions now, the staff remain extremely positive, polite and friendly, which makes me feel confident that we made the correct decision in choosing Esher Manor.
We are delighted at Esher Manor to receive such wonderful compliments and thank you for sharing your experience. We are so pleased that you and your mother have chosen Esher Manor, and are enjoying the many things we have to offer.
Lovely atmosphere.
The staff are lovely - truly caring.
To stay there for respite week is like having a weekly holiday.
I would like to see what other activities there could be - get together with residents interested to see what suggestions come up.
Thank you for your wonderful review for Esher Manor. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us, and hope to see you again.
Our mum has recently become a resident at Esher Manor. From the first time we walked through the door, we were impressed; we were immediately greeted and received a tour almost immediately. The facility is wonderful, the activities look fun and every staff member we have been in contact with has been exceptionally helpful and competent.
Thank you so much for leaving Esher Manor a review. The Team at Esher Manor thank you for your kind words and support.
Whilst being extremely attentive to Dad they respected his choices and decisions and adapted accordingly.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Esher Manor with its current management and staff.
As an ex-Registered Care Manager, I was very impressed.
It's not the cheapest around, but well worth the money.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We really appreciate your feedback.
My grandmother is receiving exceptional care at Esher Manor Care Home-Avery Collection, which brings immense comfort to our family. The dedicated staff members exhibit unwavering compassion and attentiveness in attending to her needs. From ensuring her medications are administered accurately to curating delicious and nutritious meals that cater to her dietary requirements, every detail is meticulously addressed. Beyond the physical care, they engage her in various activities and social interactions that keep her spirit vibrant. The facility itself is designed with her safety and comfort in mind, providing a serene and inviting environment. Regular updates from the care team reassure us that she is not only receiving the best possible medical attention but also emotional support. Witnessing the genuine concern and respect the care home staff have for my grandmother truly puts our minds at ease, allowing us to focus on cherishing the quality moments we share with her.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that your family have chosen our home, and thankyou so much for your kind words. We hope to see you and your family visiting the home soon.
My mother arrived in Esher in April 2023, having spent 96 years living in her own home. She needed more support, and Esher Manor Care Home has been fantastic in providing this. The staff have been wonderful in welcoming Mummy, and she has settled so well. A lot of our family lives close by, and we are very happy that she is cared for. Visitors are made very welcome.
It is delightful to see that your mother is surrounded by so many loving families that visit her, made easier by her move to Esher Manor.
We look forward to seeing you all visit again soon.
Mum arrived at the home on the 18th of April 2023. All the staff made the move from Ireland very, very easy, and there was a very welcoming reception for Mum on her arrival. The plaque outside her bedroom was very special. Since April, Mum has settled in very well. There is a real community feel to Esher Manor, and I know Mum is at ease in the residence. All visitors are made especially welcome, which adds to the tremendous atmosphere which percolates throughout.
Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Esher Manor Care Home. We are delighted to be looking after your Mum and that she has settled into the community well. We look forward to seeing all of your Mum's family at Esher Manor Care Home.
What a wonderful home.

Meet the Team (8)

I joined here as a Senior Care Assistant in 2013, progressed to Reminiscence Coordinator, managed the Assisted Living Department, and now I am overseeing both departments as a Deputy Manager since September 2019. I also supported the General Manager with Clinical Requirements and the Activities Coordinator with our Activities Programme. In August 2023 I was promoted to General Manager position.
I have been given the opportunity to develop my skills, learn and progress. I am a qualified physiotherapist with a hospital and private sector background. I hold Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I am passionate about care and dedicated to providing a high-quality service tailored to each person's individual needs. I am proud to be part of the Esher Team.

I joined Esher Manor as a Senior Care Assistant Wellbeing in February 2019. I was then promoted to Dementia Care Manager in November 2019. I have been working in the care sector since 2003, and I was originally a nurse in my home country. I have managed two Residential Care Homes previously, and I hold a Level 4 in Health and Social Care. I enjoy working with elderly people, especially those with dementia, and the smile on their faces gives me a sense of achievement. My priority is to have a good relationship with residents, their families and staff to ensure that they feel welcome and at home.

I have been working in the Care industry for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoy it.
I've had such a warm welcome from all Residents and Team Members at Esher Manor, and I look forward to getting to know all our lovely Residents and Family members.
I have completed my NVQ level 5, and am very passionate about end of life care.

Hi, I'm Joanna. I joined Esher Manor in February 2019 and can honestly say I have never looked back. Every day is a different day, and I have the privilege of helping families choose the right care home for their loved ones.
From the point that a family makes an enquiry to Esher Manor, I will be able to help with any questions whether it be for short-term respites or permanent care.
We love to get involved in Local Community projects at Esher Manor, so I'd love to hear from you if you're holding an event, or think we can help out.

I joined in March 2019. Before starting here, I worked within the public care sector as a Human Resources Assistant and finance and Payroll Manager for over 20 years. I enjoy getting to know residents, families and staff. I support the General Manager and office administration and my door is always open.

I joined Esher Manor in April 2022. I have previously worked within the group for 7 years altogether.
I'm a passionate cook with an eye for detail who has worked in the care sector since 2011, where I gained my knowledge, experience and qualifications.‘PASSION’ was always my top core value.
Cooking is an ‘ART’. As in art, you mix colours and a beautiful picture manifest so in cooking, you have to be creative, full of passion, and imaginative and your meals will be like a piece of art beautifully presented on the plate.
I'm excited to be part of the Avery Collection Family, working with our lovely residents and their families.

I joined Esher Manor in June 2021 as a maintenance coordinator. It is my first time working in a caring environment, and I find it very rewarding. I look after the building, repairing or replacing what is broken whilst looking after everyone’s health and safety.

I joined the company in 2015, and I'm delighted to say that I work in such a wonderful caring environment.
My passion is elderly care, everyone is unique and has an interesting story to tell.
I always try my best to make sure that our Residents receive the best care and that all of our Team Members feel valued.
I am privileged to have such a fantastic team, making the environment warm and friendly, and a home from home for us too.
