My Grandfather was a resident at Esher Manor from October 2021 until his sad passing in June 2026. The family have always felt very at ease and comfortable with the exceptional care and dedication provided by the staff at Esher. My Grandfather was a cherished resident and he always appeared to be
relaxed and settled in the surroundings.
The home provides spacious accommodation in a clean, well kept environment. They regularly plan activities which residents can opt in or out of at their choice. We believe we made the right choice in moving my Grandfather to Esher Manor and the duration of time he spent there was testament to how well he was being cared for (He was 95 when he passed).

I was impressed with Esher Manor from the first time I visited to see if it would suit my Mother. The staff were welcoming and all said hello. The manager knew all the residents names and greeted them all. The atmosphere was calm and residents appeared content. The facilities are lovely and the
garden is very well designed.
Mum went in for a trial and my initial impressions have turned out to be correct. It is a huge adjustment for her but the staff are understanding and gently encouraging. She has decided to stay in her lovely room. I would recommend anyone looking for a care home in the area to consider Eshe Manor.

My Mother was a resident at Esher Manor from November 2023 until May 2026 when she sadly passed away at the age of 94 years. My Mother was always extremely happy and found it easy to make friends with other residents, but most important of all she was extremely well cared for and had much praise
for all the wonderful staff. For my part, it was important that my Mother settled into her new home where she was cared for by kind, caring and devoted individuals and this was apparent in abundance, throughout her time with them.
My sincere thanks for all my Mothers care and devotion given by all your staff members.

My Dad had a short stay at Esher Manor after a few weeks in hospital. He received very good care and they got him moving to help his recovery. It gave my sister and I some respite and we are very grateful. Thank you

Both my parents are living at the care home. They are both sound of mind but frail and both have quite separate needs. I am always happy with the care that they receive and there seems to be a real sense of community.

My parents came to Esher Manor after my dad had been in hospital after a fall . The transition from hospital to Esher Manor went smoothly and the attention and care received for them has been very good. Although a huge change for them, they have both been settling well and are very familiar with
all the lovely staff who help them with anything they need .

Esher Manor looked after my father for the last six weeks of his life. The standard of care he got there was of the highest order. The carers did an excellent job and seemed totally dedicated to their work, while the supporting staff couldn't have been more helpful. Unfortunately, my father was
declining in health when he went into the care home, so he wasn't able to take full advantage of the many facilities they offer, but the food was tailored to suit him and, most importantly, as he soon became bedbound, they always seemed to have enough staff to keep an eye on him.

My mum, (89yrs) recently stayed at Esher Manor for two weeks of respite care, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, the entire process was smooth, supportive, and reassuring. Joanna, who showed me around, was absolutely wonderful - she explained everything clearly and
patiently at a time when it can feel quite daunting with so many questions. She also remained incredibly responsive and helpful with any follow-up queries.
The staff were consistently caring, thoughtful and kind, and my mum was very well looked after throughout her stay. When she came home after two weeks, she was noticeably stronger and in great spirits. The delicious, nutritious meals and attentive care clearly made a huge difference.
When our family next goes away, we will book Esher Manor again without hesitation. Having complete peace of mind that my mum is safe, happy, and well cared for while we are away is truly invaluable - and the fact that she is very happy to return speaks volumes

My father has settled into Esher Manor although struggled with the massive life change for the first few days. The staff helped in every way they could and are always very kind and friendly to both him and me. He likes the frequent musical entertainment as well as the excercise class and talks
which are on offer regularly.

My mother has settled well into the home after the inevitable difficulty of such a life change. The staff have been hugely supportive and welcoming not just to my mother but also to me and my family in helping her to adjust to her new environment. There is a brightness to the Manor, lots of
activities to keep minds active and occupied and also the opportunity for my mother to make new friends.
In difficult moments the staff exude a quiet calmness and a genuine sense of caring which is so reassuring and whenever any issue has arisen it has been dealt with promptly and with dignity.

Just waned to take time to write a review about Esher Manor Care home, Surrey.
My mum has been a resident there for 2 months now and I cannot tell you how happy she is. We tried a couple of care homes beforehand for respite but I have to say this place puts the others to shame.
As you enter the
care home it's like entering a hotel lobby, lots of people sitting around drinking coffees, chatting with music in the background, such a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The carers and the team are amazing with activities in the morning, singers in the aft and movies in the cinema room in the evenings. The outings and activities are endless and the resident rooms are spotless.
The carers and management team really go out of their way to make sure my mum is having the best time.
So glad I found this place for my mum and will be definatly recommending it. If mum is happy we are all happy. Thanks you Esher Manor Care home........Susan

My sister went into Esher Manor for one week's respite. It had been particularly difficult to persuade her to take this much-needed break from caring for her 104-year-old mother and the manager was endlessly patient while we made this difficult decision. Once there, I believe that my sister adapted
quite quickly with the attention of the extremely gentle and caring nursing staff. She enjoyed the welcoming and peaceful atmosphere and spoke highly of the food. She enjoyed walking around the lovely garden. She didn't take part in the activities, being a rather solitary person. When she came home she seemed much rested and looked much better, just a pity that she wouldn't stay a bit longer. From an outsider's perspective, this is the nicest care home that I have viewed or visited.

My Mother has recently moved into Esher Manor. We couldn't be happier with the care and compassion the staff have shown to her. They have been welcoming, reassuring and incredibly professional. They have taken the time to get to know her and what she likes and dislikes.
The atmosphere is calm,
friendly and uplifting, and there is always something going on, whether it's music, crafts, word games, or just having company while watching a film. The home itself is bright, clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that make it feel homely rather than clinical.
I've experienced a genuine warmth from the team. Communication with families is excellent too; I feel well informed and involved.
Seeing my Mother settled, content and making friends, I am extremely grateful to everyone at Esher Manor for the outstanding care and kindness provided.

I chose Esher Manor for my 84-year-old sister last year who has mild dementia and was recently widowed. My wife and I used two comparative websites and drew up a short list of twelve care homes in the Surrey area. We then visited six of them. Esher Manor was by far and away the most welcoming and
some were awful!
Over the last 15 months, we have had no reason to regret our decision. My sister is happy, well-card for, has put on weight and seems to be enjoying activities - although this last is hard to track as she can't always remember what she has done.
Esher Manor is certainly not cheap but, in my view, if you have the money, it is better than letting any government have it!

Staffing levels are insufficient leading to too long waiting times when requesting assistance. Staff needs to be taught how to handle unfamiliar situations. Staff, seek advice (carer caused me unnecessary pain and distress trying to remove a catheter by sloppily pulling it out. I could have
explained her the correct procedure if she had talked to me).
The apartment and communal facilities are spacious pleasantly decorated and well maintained. Possible useful addition would be 2-3 basic bikes, a jacuzzi, an indoor pool and a sauna.

This was my husbands first experience in respite care at a nursing home. He stayed for 2 weeks. He has vascular dementia and vascular Parkinsonism . The staff were very caring, friendly and efficient. He has benefited from the care and stimulation he received and he has come home a happier person.
His walking is better and he joins in more with conversations . All in all a very good experience for both of us . Would not hesitate to recommend.

Mum spent 9 days at Esher Manor whilst myself and family went on holiday.
She was understandably a little anxious before she went but once she arrived the staff were so warm, welcoming and kind, she was completely reassured.
Whilst we were away, we were kept updated with emails and photos of Mum
and the activities she was taking part in. There are numerous activities daily, which residents are encouraged to join in with but are not compulsory.
When we arrived to collect Mum, she was so happy and relaxed and thoroughly enjoying listening to a singer.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Esher Manor and would say the staff are nothing short of amazing!

After my foot operation I spent a week in respite care at Esher Manor.
I found all the staff polite, friendly and very helpful. The room was well laid out and the bathroom facilities were excellent. As I was recovering from an operation I had all my meals in my room, the food being tasty and the
room service from the staff being very responsive.
If my situation ever warranted another spell in respite care I would certainly go back there.

After a stay in hospital my father needed further time to recuperate before returning home.
The team at Esher Manor were quick to react to our request and were able to provide him with excellent care for his time in recovery before being able to return to his own home.
Everybody involved in
the running of Esher Manor from the care staff to the management were kind and diligent in the care for my dad.
Thank you

I'm so pleased with the care mum receives at Esher Manor. The whole team are so welcoming, attentive and considerate.
Mum has lived there for a year now, in reminiscence, and always speaks fondly of those that look after her. She loves all the musicians, activities and outings and is the happiest
I've seen her for a long time.
Avery was the right choice for us.
