Mum was in the REM suite (for those with dementia) and had a decent haircut whilst there. The staff are attentive and caring, with great care taken over medication. There are no restrictions that I noticed on visiting hours and on several visits, I noticed that some form of entertainment had been provided for the residents.
Thank you for your feedback and it is lovely to have your mum on regular respites. We are looking forward to assisting you next time.
In December 2022, I had a sudden acute problem with the hip replaced in 2012. Unable to walk, I was given a wheelchair, and within days, saw the doctor and had an X-ray and an appointment with a physio to discuss the results. The staff were very caring, helped me on request and with my permission, the wheelchair was liberally decorated with tinsel, a nice humorous Signature touch. When I was unsure about using it for a surgery appointment, I was given what was described as a "serious" one for the occasion! Fortunately, the problem was resolved with time and exercise. The experience showed how well and quickly the staff responded to my needs and, also introduced a bit of fun with my approval.
The team @ Signature at Esher are delighted that you are back to strength following your hip issue at Christmas. Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Signature at Esher, we really appreciate it, and thank you for sharing your experience.
We came here for a short break so that I could get away from all domestic duties. I am pleased to report that we were well looked after; I did not even have to make a cup of tea while here. Everything was done for us. All the staff were extremely helpful and obliging.
We look forward to seeing you again should you require a break in the future.
All the staff were really lovely and understanding and went out of their way to help the family with a messy situation.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Signature At Esher. We are so pleased that we were able to help.
My mother spent two weeks’ respite at Signature. She had a very happy and comfortable stay and thought the staff were so friendly and helpful. Already positively talking about the next respite stay later in the year.
Thank you for taking the time to review Signature At Esher. We are delighted we were able to help your mother with her respite stay, and we look forward to seeing her again later in the year.
My parents went to Signature at Esher for respite care after my dad had a spell in the hospital. Mum went with him as he acts as her primary carer. His recovery was remarkable - and the Signature team deserve great credit. I found them to be personable, professional and caring. My mum, who has mild dementia, also benefitted greatly from the experience - initially shy, the team coaxed her into flower arranging, wreath making and assorted other activities. In short, I would highly recommend Signature at Esher.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Signature At Esher. We are delighted that your parents have made a great recovery and that Mum is involved in many of our activities. The team will be delighted with your review. Thank you.
I would recommend this to anyone.
With best wishes to the team.
Thank you for reviewing Signature At Esher. We are delighted that your mother is enjoying living at Signature At Esher, and we are delighted to have her as a resident. We hope to see you visiting us soon. The team will be delighted at your comments for our review.
My mum has been at Signature of Esher for over two years now, and I can honestly say it is the best care home I have ever known. The staff are exceptional; they genuinely care and treat Mum and myself like family. The activities are endless - keeping fit, baking, bus trips, singers, dancers - you name it, it’s going on! The home is like a 5-star hotel, and Mum's room is beautiful and cosy. The food is great, and there’s always coffee and treats when we visit, especially for my 5-year-old, who loves seeing her nanny. I always receive such a warm welcome, and nothing is ever too much trouble. I would recommend Signature to everyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Signature At Esher. Our team will be delighted with your wonderful comments, and we look forward to seeing you and your family visit us soon. Thank you so much.
She went to live there with mild dementia and poor eyesight at the age of 95.
She lived in assisted living initially and enjoyed the freedom of movement between her room, lounges, bistro and gardens.
She loved music and dancing activities, baking and flower arranging etc.
As her health worsened, she moved to the reminiscence floor. She had very little sight by then and had also suffered a broken hip, but the staff did everything to get her mobile again so she could walk around with a stick.
They also made sure that Mum had access to all the wonderful music she so enjoyed.
I used to love going in to see her and was a regular visitor two or three times a week.
Mum luckily had lots of other visitors.
The staff were lovely, warm and welcoming when we went to visit, and over the years, I got to know the staff well.
There was an atmosphere of care and compassion there both for Mum and her needs, but also for our family.
We are delighted by your wonderful comments and support of Signature At Esher. Thank you for taking the time to review; our team really do appreciate all your positive comments.
Mum came to Signature at Esher for respite after breaking her arm. It's been a lovely place for her to heal and feel safe. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere, and all the activities offered to make the home a very enjoyable place to stay.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Signature At Esher. We are delighted that your mum was able to recover and rest from her accident, and we wish her well on her return home.
Having had little experience with care homes, I had an impression they weren't up to much. However, Signature at Esher was an extremely pleasant experience. A nice environment, clean with genuinely caring people, made for a great stay. It's obvious the staff have the best interest of their residents at heart - what more can you ask for.
Thank you so much for reviewing Signature At Esher following your experience with your loved one. We really appreciate you taking the time to send us a review.
Mum has stayed in reminisce for just over a year. During her time there, she was treated with kindness, dignity and respect. All the staff, from nursing through to reception, are kind and helpful. The wide range of activities helped to keep Mum stimulated and interested in the world around her. A big thank you to everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to review Signature At Esher. The team will be delighted to read your positive comments; thank you.
I spent two very enjoyable weeks at Signature Esher whilst recovering from a fractured pelvis. The meals were excellent, I had a very nice apartment, and I enjoyed participating in the multiple activities provided. The care home has a pleasant garden with lots of spring bulbs coming up.
Thank you for taking the time to review Signature At Esher. We are delighted that you enjoyed your respite stay, and wish you well with your recovery.
From my limited experience with Signature at Esher, I have been very impressed with all aspects of the organisation, staff and facilities. Given the chance, I would move in tomorrow myself. Can't say more than that!
We look forward to you seeing you visit the home soon.
When my mother said that I could not have found anywhere better, I could not have agreed more. The care my mother experienced was outstanding. The first thing you realise is that everyone is part of the team and the warmth, kindness and care are cultural and real. They supported and respected all of the wishes my mother made, even when these were not easy to achieve. This team believe in going the extra mile.
I would recommend this home to anyone and only wish my mother had moved here earlier.
The team will be overwhelmed by reading your review. We thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Signature At Esher. Thank you.
I stayed at Signature, Esher for two weeks following double knee surgery. The staff were kind, professional and supportive. My room was lovely and very comfortable and meals were delicious with plenty of choice. My guests enjoyed visiting and having coffee and cake in the cafe. I would thoroughly recommend it as a place to recuperate.
My father came to Signature at Esher for what we hoped would be a few months of respite care. Sadly this was not to be, as he died after only a few days. He had stayed at Signature a year ago for respite care and came out feeling well and rested so we were hoping for a similar outcome. Having been there previously, we knew Dad was going to be well looked after and he was welcomed and greeted like an old friend. The staff cannot be praised highly enough, so kind, patient and caring. It's very difficult when a parent reaches a point in their lives where their children are no longer able to provide the care they need but the staff made this move as smooth as it could be. Communication was always excellent. We can honestly recommend Signature if you are looking for a happy, caring environment for your relative.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Signature At Esher, at a very difficult time for you and your family. Please accept our condolences on the passing of your father.
My brother has now settled in and is happy with both the environment and the care that he is receiving.
We can see improvement in his state of health as a result.
Thank you for reviewing Signature At Esher. We are delighted that your brother has settled in and is happily enjoying the environment and care, and so pleased to hear, as a result, an improvement in his health.
I would like to give full credit to all the staff at Signature at Esher wellness for their reliability, empathy and continual communication with me during my aunt's final months. The carers were patient and observant, trying to encourage her when she was becoming immobile and in pain. She had nine and a half years there and spent many years enjoying the games, art activities, meals, shopping trips and outings. My husband and I visited her over the years and found the management, receptionists and staff welcoming and kind.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Signature At Esher during such a difficult time. Your aunt was a wonderful lady, and we will all miss her terribly.
Information on residents is widely known by staff and responded to.
Recommed without reservation!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We really appreciate your comments, and it is very comforting to us that you share our extended family approach.

Meet the Team (8)

I joined here as a Senior Care Assistant in 2013, progressed to Reminiscence Coordinator, managed the Assisted Living Department, and now I am overseeing both departments as a Deputy Manager since September 2019. I also supported the General Manager with Clinical Requirements and the Activities Coordinator with our Activities Programme. In August 2023 I was promoted to General Manager position.
I have been given the opportunity to develop my skills, learn and progress. I am a qualified physiotherapist with a hospital and private sector background. I hold Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I am passionate about care and dedicated to providing a high-quality service tailored to each person's individual needs. I am proud to be part of the Esher Team.

I joined Esher Manor as a Senior Care Assistant Wellbeing in February 2019. I was then promoted to Dementia Care Manager in November 2019. I have been working in the care sector since 2003, and I was originally a nurse in my home country. I have managed two Residential Care Homes previously, and I hold a Level 4 in Health and Social Care. I enjoy working with elderly people, especially those with dementia, and the smile on their faces gives me a sense of achievement. My priority is to have a good relationship with residents, their families and staff to ensure that they feel welcome and at home.

I have been working in the Care industry for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoy it.
I've had such a warm welcome from all Residents and Team Members at Esher Manor, and I look forward to getting to know all our lovely Residents and Family members.
I have completed my NVQ level 5, and am very passionate about end of life care.

Hi, I'm Joanna. I joined Esher Manor in February 2019 and can honestly say I have never looked back. Every day is a different day, and I have the privilege of helping families choose the right care home for their loved ones.
From the point that a family makes an enquiry to Esher Manor, I will be able to help with any questions whether it be for short-term respites or permanent care.
We love to get involved in Local Community projects at Esher Manor, so I'd love to hear from you if you're holding an event, or think we can help out.

I joined in March 2019. Before starting here, I worked within the public care sector as a Human Resources Assistant and finance and Payroll Manager for over 20 years. I enjoy getting to know residents, families and staff. I support the General Manager and office administration and my door is always open.

I joined Esher Manor in April 2022. I have previously worked within the group for 7 years altogether.
I'm a passionate cook with an eye for detail who has worked in the care sector since 2011, where I gained my knowledge, experience and qualifications.‘PASSION’ was always my top core value.
Cooking is an ‘ART’. As in art, you mix colours and a beautiful picture manifest so in cooking, you have to be creative, full of passion, and imaginative and your meals will be like a piece of art beautifully presented on the plate.
I'm excited to be part of the Avery Collection Family, working with our lovely residents and their families.

I joined Esher Manor in June 2021 as a maintenance coordinator. It is my first time working in a caring environment, and I find it very rewarding. I look after the building, repairing or replacing what is broken whilst looking after everyone’s health and safety.

I joined the company in 2015, and I'm delighted to say that I work in such a wonderful caring environment.
My passion is elderly care, everyone is unique and has an interesting story to tell.
I always try my best to make sure that our Residents receive the best care and that all of our Team Members feel valued.
I am privileged to have such a fantastic team, making the environment warm and friendly, and a home from home for us too.
