I cannot imagine finding a warmer or more welcoming residential home for my mother. The staff are incredibly welcoming and were endlessly supportive throughout the transition period. They have provided reassurance and advice freely. The accommodation is excellent and the food and activities are wonderful and varied.
Thank you so much for your 5 star review. The team at Esher will be delighted, and we are thrilled that you have chosen Esher Manor for your mother.
My mother spent the last few months of her life at Esher Manor. All of the staff were amazing from the unfailingly cheerful and helpful people on reception to the patient and kind carers and the diligent and professional managers. I was also always treated with kindness and thoughtfulness. Mum didn't really get the chance to use all of the facilities but I saw a brilliantly functioning organisation with very happy residents. I have no hesitation in recommending them wholeheartedly.
Esher Manor really appreciate your wonderful comments. Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a wonderful review.
Dad's first visit to Esher Manor was for a respite stay and he enjoyed it so much that, when it became necessary for him to move into full time care, he became a resident in June 2023. For the next year he enjoyed everything Esher had to offer - the entertainment, activities, meals, strolls in the garden and, always, the friendly staff. However, last year, when Dad's health declined badly, all the staff teams adapted to provide an outstanding level of care and support that we will be forever grateful for. Dad was made to feel safe and dignified at all times and that care was also extended to us as a family. As you enter the doors of Esher Manor you are immediately impressed by its appearance, but we would say it is the staff that work within its walls that make this a truly exceptional place. Thank you for caring for our Dad.
Thank you for taking the time to review Esher Manor, The Team at Esher Manor really appreciates your wonderful comments. It was our pleasure to care for a wonderful gentleman.
My mother has been living in Esher Manor now for almost five years. The first three in assisted living and now in reminiscence. She has passed the age for receiving the royal birthday card, and as her son I am now a reasonable age too. It has been a great relief to me to know that she is well fed, comfortable, and her declining health is cared for in a very efficient and professional manner. The staff are very attentive and take immediate action in liaising with medical and social services as and when the occasion arises.
I am very appreciative of the numerous cups of tea, biscuits and the occasional treat of a dessert, when I visit. Esher Manor arrange a varied programme of activities, which I think at times are incredibly inventive. So there is always something to talk about and since these are posted on social media it keeps me informed of what is going on in my mother's life. After a visit I always have this uplifting thought. Esher Manor was the right choice for both of us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that your mother has spent several years at Esher Manor, and we have the great pleasure of caring for her. We always look forward to family visits, and we look forward to you visiting soon.
On arrival at Esher Manor, my mother was greeted by the staff and made to feel very welcome. Her room is delightful, spacious and light and kept spotlessly clean. She receives many visitors who are free to come and go as we please and the care staff are always very attentive. My mother is enjoying her stay immensely, and her health is recovering well.
Thank you to all the wonderful, dedicated staff at Esher Manor, you have professionally managed a challenging time and we are most grateful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that we were able to help especially at a difficult time over the festive period. The team will be delighted with your gratitude, and we look forward to seeing you at your next visit.
The dedication and empathy shown by the staff brought us comfort, especially as mum's needs evolved. It meant so much to know that even as her physical abilities diminished, she continued to receive such respectful and considerate care. The kindness and attentiveness of the team never wavered, and this care extended to our family, making us feel valued and supported.
Having the opportunity to host family celebrations in the private dining room was an unexpected yet much appreciated feature. These gatherings allowed us to create cherished memories in a warm, familiar setting, and we are grateful to the team for organizing this.
I booked my friend for a week of respite, another friend is already staying with you, so I knew first hand it was very good indeed. My friend enjoyed her stay, and when she needs permanent care I hope she will choose Esher Manor. It was all excellent thank you
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that your friend enjoyed her stay with us on respite, and hope to see her again in the future.
Sadly my dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly within weeks of arriving and the staff couldn't have been kinder and more supportive. They were wonderful and genuinely felt the sadness that we were going through. My mum was cared for with such sensitivity through her period of deep grief and I would often just wander in and a carer would be at my mum's side holding her hand and picking a rose off the rose bush for her. Esher Manor is such a wonderful and happy place and I shall be forever grateful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Esher Manor. We really appreciate your kind words, and we are delighted that we are are all able to be supportive for you and your family.
Thank you for caring for my dad
I am very impressed with Esher Manor Care Home. My brother has been staying there for several months. He has a lovely room. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is very good. I feel he is being well looked after and he tells me he is happy there.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor, we really appreciate your comments and are delighted that your brother has settled well into the community.
My father has lived at Esher Manor for 2 years. We initially needed care at short notice; we had been unhappy with care at another home, and from the moment we made contact, I knew we wouldn't regret the move. All staff are genuinely warm and friendly; they care about their residents not just as clients but as if they were their own family. Nothing is ever too much trouble; staff regularly go above and beyond their remit in terms of 'remembering the little things' and checking in when they know I can't. They all give their best to make sure dad has as good a day as possible. Another benefit was that those with dementia and those without resided on different floors. This means my dad is able to socialise with people who don't have dementia which was a particularly important consideration. The fees aren't low and the food could do with a revamp but any mistakes (which are inevitable in life) are always brought to our attention quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Esher Manor - 100% happy!
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We really appreciate your comments and look forward to seeing you visit the Community.
Always beautifully presented public spaces make things cheerful. The staff always cheerful and helpful. Outside areas are beautifully kept. Activities are plentiful and stimulating.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor, we really appreciate your comments and look forward to seeing you on your next visit.
Dad has settled in really well here the staff are lovely and very caring and kind. The facilities and activities are varied and interesting but they aren't forced upon people. The food is generally very good with a varied choice.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor Care Home. We are delighted that your father has settled well at the home, and enjoys the activities.
Everything about Esher Manor is very inviting for residents and care is reassuring for the family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor, we really appreciate your comments.
I can highly recommend Esher Manor Care Home. My uncle moved here after a spell in hospital two years ago, and he was never happier! After another brief spell in hospital in May this year, he chose to have palliative care 'at home' - which was at Esher Manor - and they truly looked after him right to the end. The staff are kind and helpful, and their care was exceptional. The food was excellent. His room was light and airy, with a small kitchen and study area. The reception areas are lovely and always felt cheerful with people coming and going, or just chatting in the cafe. We feel rest assured that he was in the right place!
Thank you so much for reviewing Esher Manor for your Uncle, it was a great pleasure for the Team at Esher Manor to look after him.
It was a delight to visit our good friend and see how caring the staff treated her. There was no pressure of time, complete patience and kindness and as visitors we were offered a delicious cup of coffee with biscuits and even an invitation to stay for lunch. Our friend was helped to a quiet room so we could speak privately and be heard. No wonder she was in such excellent form!
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit, and we look forward to you visiting again soon.
I think the home is a very pleasant place to be. The rooms are excellent and make the residents feel at home, especially with the addition of the small kitchen. I think the staff are friendly and do what they can to make the residents comfortable. Personally, I have found the admin/interaction/communication only average. I've had to request invoices each month even though I am the registered recipient. I am looking after my mother's finances, so having the invoices on time is important to me. I've also found it hard to get clear responses to some items raised, or not see a follow-up to a conversation where it was agreed someone would progress an item and then I don't hear anything more. However, overall I'm pleased that I selected Esher Manor for my mother.
Thank you for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that your mother has settled well at the home. We apologise for the issues you have had regarding invoicing which come from Head Office and not branch, and will look into this matter with urgency.
Esher Manor is an excellent care home, they have looked after our mum since December 2023, and have helped her to settle in. Mum’s medical needs are seen to and nothing gets overlooked, the staff are very caring helpful and keep us up to date on any changes. There are many activities and entertainment during the week. The dining is excellent with good choices. There is also a bistro where you can have a coffee in a relaxed atmosphere with mum when we visit. We feel happier now that mum is being looked after by a great team.
Thank you for taking the time to review Esher Manor. We are delighted that your mum has settled well into the community and look forward to seeing you on your next visit to the home.
So this will not be enough space to express my gratitude to the team at Esher Manor but it will go some way. Every time myself and my husband visit my aunt at Esher Manor which is frequently, we are left astounded by the level of care from everyone, the warm welcome we receive, and the fact the staff go out of their way to do anything for us but most importantly for making my aunty feel safe and happy. The change in her has been remarkable! It's so wonderful to see her so happy and content. Thank you does not seem enough but it comes from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you so much for taking the time to send a review for Esher Manor. We are delighted that your aunty has settled in so well. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we look forward to seeing you on your next visit.
Lovely rooms, good variety of food options along with great facilities and amazing staff. It gave me peace of mind knowing my mum was being cared for to such a high standard. I would highly recommend it.
Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for Esher Manor. We really appreciate your comments which will be shared with the team.

Meet the Team (8)

I joined here as a Senior Care Assistant in 2013, progressed to Reminiscence Coordinator, managed the Assisted Living Department, and now I am overseeing both departments as a Deputy Manager since September 2019. I also supported the General Manager with Clinical Requirements and the Activities Coordinator with our Activities Programme. In August 2023 I was promoted to General Manager position.
I have been given the opportunity to develop my skills, learn and progress. I am a qualified physiotherapist with a hospital and private sector background. I hold Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I am passionate about care and dedicated to providing a high-quality service tailored to each person's individual needs. I am proud to be part of the Esher Team.

I joined Esher Manor as a Senior Care Assistant Wellbeing in February 2019. I was then promoted to Dementia Care Manager in November 2019. I have been working in the care sector since 2003, and I was originally a nurse in my home country. I have managed two Residential Care Homes previously, and I hold a Level 4 in Health and Social Care. I enjoy working with elderly people, especially those with dementia, and the smile on their faces gives me a sense of achievement. My priority is to have a good relationship with residents, their families and staff to ensure that they feel welcome and at home.

I have been working in the Care industry for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoy it.
I've had such a warm welcome from all Residents and Team Members at Esher Manor, and I look forward to getting to know all our lovely Residents and Family members.
I have completed my NVQ level 5, and am very passionate about end of life care.

Hi, I'm Joanna. I joined Esher Manor in February 2019 and can honestly say I have never looked back. Every day is a different day, and I have the privilege of helping families choose the right care home for their loved ones.
From the point that a family makes an enquiry to Esher Manor, I will be able to help with any questions whether it be for short-term respites or permanent care.
We love to get involved in Local Community projects at Esher Manor, so I'd love to hear from you if you're holding an event, or think we can help out.

I joined in March 2019. Before starting here, I worked within the public care sector as a Human Resources Assistant and finance and Payroll Manager for over 20 years. I enjoy getting to know residents, families and staff. I support the General Manager and office administration and my door is always open.

I joined Esher Manor in April 2022. I have previously worked within the group for 7 years altogether.
I'm a passionate cook with an eye for detail who has worked in the care sector since 2011, where I gained my knowledge, experience and qualifications.‘PASSION’ was always my top core value.
Cooking is an ‘ART’. As in art, you mix colours and a beautiful picture manifest so in cooking, you have to be creative, full of passion, and imaginative and your meals will be like a piece of art beautifully presented on the plate.
I'm excited to be part of the Avery Collection Family, working with our lovely residents and their families.

I joined Esher Manor in June 2021 as a maintenance coordinator. It is my first time working in a caring environment, and I find it very rewarding. I look after the building, repairing or replacing what is broken whilst looking after everyone’s health and safety.

I joined the company in 2015, and I'm delighted to say that I work in such a wonderful caring environment.
My passion is elderly care, everyone is unique and has an interesting story to tell.
I always try my best to make sure that our Residents receive the best care and that all of our Team Members feel valued.
I am privileged to have such a fantastic team, making the environment warm and friendly, and a home from home for us too.
