I’m originally from Slovakia, with Slovak and Hungarian roots, and I moved to England in 2002. Though I studied Economics, Management, Marketing, and Accountancy, I found my passion in care, inspired by my mother, a former intensive care nurse and day centre manager.
I’ve worked in the care sector since 2005, progressing from Care Worker to Registered Manager in 2011. I’ve managed various services, including private, not-for-profit, and social services settings, as well as two domiciliary agencies. My qualifications include Level 5 in Health and Social Care, Level 3 in Dementia Leadership and Palliative Care, and Level 2 in Mental Health and Nutrition.
After five years at Esher Manor/Avery, I transferred to Cliveden Manor/Avery in August 2023. I joined the Chertsey Parklands team in September 2025.
I have extensive experience as a nurse and care leader, having worked across a range of roles including Nurse, Deputy Manager, Home Manager, and Nurse Manager. My background has given me a strong foundation in both hands-on clinical practice and the strategic management skills required to lead safe, effective, and compassionate care services.
I am passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and ensuring strong clinical governance throughout every aspect of service delivery. I take pride in supporting and developing staff teams, improving compliance, and driving positive outcomes for residents.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to professionalism, integrity, and creating environments where both residents and colleagues feel respected, valued, and empowered.
My focus is on continuous improvement and ensuring that every individual receives the dignity, respect, and level of care they deserve.
I am Claire. I have worked in the Healthcare Industry for 10 years. I have worked in care homes, hospitals and in IT. I am very passionate about the health care sector, and I believe I have found my niche within the care home environment, combining my business experience with my experience in care.
I enjoy advising on admissions and helping people transition from home or from hospital into a care home. I very much enjoy the working environment here at Parklands Manor. I enjoy getting to know our residents and helping engage with community links to further enrich the residents' lives with the benefit of what the community links can bring to our home.
My name is Lynn, and I’m proud to be part of the Chertsey Parklands family. My journey into care started many years ago. I have worked in various roles, and it has shaped the way I see people, purpose, and community. I have been a carer in the community, a care assistant in a home, a team leader med tech, a Senior Carer, a Residential care manager, and a home trainer, but have found my passion in the business side of the care sector.
Every day in our home reminds me why I’m here. I get to support incredible residents who have lived extraordinary lives, people who have taught me about resilience, laughter, patience, and love. Whether I’m supporting a resident with an invoice or having a morning chat with a resident, I’m reminded that small moments often make the biggest difference.
Working in care isn’t just a job for me, it’s a calling. I believe everyone deserves dignity, connection, and joy at every stage of life and being able to help create that, one smile, one story, one gentle moment at a time, is something I’m deeply grateful for.
Thank you for following our journey. I look forward to sharing more of the meaningful moments we experience here at Chertsey Parklands, where every day is an opportunity to show compassion and celebrate the people who came before us.
I started working for Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home when it first opened in 2018 and worked on Reception. I then moved to work in the community in Supported Living with young adults with Learning Disabilities and caring for people with challenging behaviour as an Assistant Manager. I returned to Parklands in 2025 as the Head Housekeeper, I have always loved the environment here . I am creative and hardworking. I have always been a people person and enjoy being part of the caring environment and team. I enjoy the resident's company and finding out more about their interesting stories and lives.
I am the Head Chef at Chertsey Parklands, with over 16 years of experience as a professional chef. My passion for working within the care sector comes from a very personal place. After caring for a loved one who sadly passed away, I felt a strong calling to give something back and to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
My journey began as a carer before I retrained as a chef, which has shaped the way I approach food and care today. I understand how much comfort, reassurance, and happiness a good meal can bring—especially to those who may be vulnerable or living away from home. For me, food is far more than nutrition; it is dignity, familiarity, and a powerful way of showing care.
I take great pride in creating meals that are not only nutritious and well-balanced but also comforting, enjoyable, and full of flavour. Seeing residents smile, reminisce, or simply enjoy a meal is what motivates me every single day. Their wellbeing and quality of life are always at the heart of everything I do in the kitchen.
One of my proudest achievements was being nominated for an in-house MasterChef competition, where I was selected among the top six chefs within a large organisation. Before moving into catering, I began my professional career in IT and hold a master’s degree, which supports my structured, thoughtful, and high-standard approach to kitchen leadership.
I am passionate about leading my team with kindness, consistency, and pride, and about creating a dining experience where residents feel respected, cared for, and truly at home.
