The care home is not only beautiful, it's clean and neat with homely touches and stylish decor everywhere you look. The staff are incredible. Very caring, professional and friendly and always attentive to the residents needs.
The food is great, in particular the chef, Ash, did everything he could to make sure my Mum had a great birthday party with a lovely buffet and delicious cake.

From the Manager, Gabriela, and all of her team there is a real sense of commitment and respect for the residents and I'm grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you x

We chose Parklands for mum notwithstanding the relatively high costs in order to give her the highest quality of life in the last years of life. Despite her stroke, and being wheelchair bound as a result, mum had two and half years in the company of delightful, interesting residents and under the care of an exemplary team in every respect. The physical surroundings and facilities are also of the highest quality, with regular organised activities to keep minds active. I cannot speak highly enough of the care provided by the nursing, carers and general staff. If you can't face your relative being consigned to a generic semi circle in a lounge dominated by a TV, have a look at Parklands. The marginal cost over a standard home is material, but well worth it.

My Brother came to Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home on the 26th November 2025 and sadly passed away on 12th January 2026.
During his time there he was looked after amazingly well by all the nurses and carers who were all so caring and sensitive to his needs.
We would like to thank all the nurses, staff and carers at the Care Home from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of my Brother during his stay.
Chertsey Parklands is a beautiful care home and we would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending it

Thank you all once again

My Mum has been at Parklands Manor for 4 weeks respite. She has been beautifully looked after and has found the home very comfortable and restful. She has enjoyed the company of the very caring staff and has especially loved her meals. The facilities are very calming and my Mum has improved tremendously in such a short time. Overall a terrific place to be whether for respite or long term care.

I visit a good friend at least twice a week and once again I am so overwhelmed by the friendliness of all the staff, and I mean all. They all make a point of smiling and acknowledging me and are happy to take that time to have a conversation with me if needed. Just amazing. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

My mother went into the care home for some respite, following a stay in hospital.
The staff were so friendly and caring. As an ex nurse my mother is very particular.
She is now able to go back and live at home, having been looked after but allowed to regain her independence
and confidence.
She enjoyed the garden and the library and was also pleased to get her hair done and see a chiropodist and physio during her stay.

We both now feel that should she need care in the future, we feel secure we have found somewhere she will be happy. It is a daunting experience the first time.

excellent support for my father for his respite care and then subsequent residency. The team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. From the moment you enter through the door to everyone we met we were made to feel very welcome, The residents i spoke to were all very happy suggesting a well run organisation. The interactions between the staff members also indicated a very happy team. The admin and nursing team were all excellent.

After a hospital stay, my mum agreed to having some respite care. I visited a couple of care homes that offer this service, Chertsey Parklands Manor was one of them. I was very impressed with their building and surroundings, the staff were all very friendly on this visit and I was suitably impressed on behalf of my mum and felt this was the sort of place she would like. We were shown all the facilities they had to offer and even the room that mum would stay in. Mum had to go through their assessment process and was booked in with a few days of our initial visit. Mum had a 2 week respite visit and she was so grateful for the care she received during her visit. Every single member of staff was approachable, helpful and had a smile for everyone. The whole family enjoyed their visits in these wonderful surroundings and the hospitality offered to family and visitors alike. Would throughly recommend and mum would stay again if the need was there.

Mum spent the last year of her life here and the care could not have been better, she really felt at home and had some lovely friends. More than that, we often visited her and really felt part of a larger family, everyone knew and looked after each other, on the rare occasions that mum wasn't 100%, residents and staff were genuinely concerned. The trips and classes were fun too, how many 98 year olds take to Tai Chi and boxercise!

My mother spent 18 days in respite care at Chertsey Parklands while my husband and I were on holiday. I can honestly say she really enjoyed her time there. She made friends with other residents, and with the staff, who she reported "just couldn't" do enough for you".
She enjoyed the food, used the chiropody service, and took the opportunity to get her hair done (3 times)! My elder son and his family visited her there, and he said his gran was in really good form. The great-grandchildren enjoyed cake from the cafe, trying out the "cool" recliner chairs and playing pool in the games room.

We also spent an enjoyable, worry-free holiday knowing that Mum was happy and well looked after. I am full of admiration for the excellent management and staff, who succeed in creating a wonderful atmosphere in the home, and in ensuring that there are many stimulating activities and trips for the residents. Big shout out also to the catering and cleaning staff. They do a great job.

Review from David R (Cousin of Resident) published on 20 December 2024 Submitted via Website

My cousin, a first cousin, was resident in the home for 2 years - she was introduced to Chertsey Parklands Manor as it offered the very best medical and nursing care available - a critical factor for my cousin with her special needs and requirements. Right up to her death on December 9th 2024, she was very complimentary about the care and attention she received from all levels of personnel at the home. Time and time again when I discussed her continuing needs she was quite adamant that there was no parallel to Parklands, it offered optimal standards of care, attention and above all a genuine love. I noted her reaction to the caring and nursing personnel whenever they entered her room - there was a warm understanding, a trust that went beyond words. We may never see Parklands again as we live in Somerset but our memory will be of a caring team of people all working to make the end of my cousin's life as comfortable and as secure as possible.

Mum and dad went in to Chertsery Parklands Manor Care Home in May 2021. Dad sadly passed away in August this year. We were so grateful to all the staff at Parklands for the way they looked after mum after dad passed. This includes the nursing staff, the carers and even the catering staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Mum was taken into hospital in October and sadly it was decided that end of life care was needed. Mum was transferred back to Parklands, her face lit up when she saw her carers, it was the best thing we could have done. Mum spent her last 10 days very comfortably and well taken care of, plus us as a family we were taken care of by the wonderful staff as well. Mum and dad were both 96 when they passed. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the staff at Parklands for their kindness, friendship and care. It is going to leave quite a hole in our lives not going to Parklands any more.

This has been a real home for mum and dad, the levels of care have been exceptional.

My father moved into Parklands Manor In January of 2024 and I had selected the care home based on its already impeccable reviews but having visited ahead of time and seen the facilities and met some of the staff, our choice as a family was quickly solidified.
I chose Parklands Manor because it could also handle the level of care both time intensive and at the end of things, palliative focus that my dad needed and would need.
The care staff bonded quickly with my father and he loved them dearly too and this friendship and kinship was very evident at the end of my father's life as well.
The way his death was handled by both the nurses and carers was so respectful and beautiful and not a single step was missed or a loving touch missed either.

Parklands Manor will forever be a part of our lives and I recommend them wholeheartedly without hesitation.

I went on holiday in July for 2 weeks. It is always a worry going away without Mum but I knew she was in good hands and well looked after. The home stayed in regular contact updating me on Mum and how she was each day which helped me enjoy my holiday without worrying about her. I spend a lot of time at Parklands and have got to know many of the staff and built a friendship with them. Would highly recommend Parkland Manor to anyone looking for care.

Having viewed several care homes in the area, we decided on Chertsey Parklands Manor and are so glad we did! All the staff are warm and welcoming and from day 1, my partner's needs have been catered for to ensure his safety and comfort. The carers are kind, compassionate and very patient, with nothing ever being too much trouble. The activities team deliver a varied schedule every day and there are regular trips out. My partner joins in with the exercise classes, something he never would have done before and the benefits have been noticeable.

The food is to be commended, breakfast and 3-course lunch and supper menu offering several choices. In addition, drinks, cake and fruit are available throughout the day. The surroundings are beautiful, a large pretty landscaped garden with a big pond. A lovely patio area offers tables and chairs and also there are benches located around the garden. My thanks to all the team at Chertsey Parklands Manor, it's reassuring to know my partner is looked after so well!

My mother spent the last few months of her life at Chertsey Parklands Manor. It is a lovely care home with bright, comfortable rooms, great activities (she especially loved tai chi and boxercise), lovely communal areas (I particularly commend the excellent and ever-changing themed decorations at Halloween, Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc.), and - most importantly - wonderfully caring staff. My mother grew very fond of her room and particularly appreciated the access to outside space. She also grew very fond of a number of the carers who showed her great care, kindness, and compassion in her last few weeks. Thank you.

Working in care isn’t just a job for me, it’s a calling. I believe everyone deserves dignity, connection, and joy at every stage of life and being able to help create that, one smile, one story, one gentle moment at a time, is something I’m deeply grateful for.

Thank you for following our journey. I look forward to sharing more of the meaningful moments we experience here at Chertsey Parklands, where every day is an opportunity to show compassion and celebrate the people who came before us.

I started working for Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home when it first opened in 2018 and worked in Reception. I then moved to work in the community in Supported Living with young adults with Learning Disabilities and caring for people with challenging behaviour as an Assistant Manager. I returned to Parklands in 2025 as the Head Housekeeper. I have always loved the environment here. I am creative and hardworking. I have always been a people person and enjoy being part of a caring environment and team. I enjoy the residents' company and finding out more about their interesting stories and lives.

I am the Head Chef at Chertsey Parklands, with over 16 years of experience as a professional chef. My passion for working within the care sector comes from a very personal place. After caring for a loved one who sadly passed away, I felt a strong calling to give something back and to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.

My journey began as a carer before I retrained as a chef, which has shaped the way I approach food and care today. I understand how much comfort, reassurance, and happiness a good meal can bring—especially to those who may be vulnerable or living away from home. For me, food is far more than nutrition; it is dignity, familiarity, and a powerful way of showing care.

I take great pride in creating meals that are not only nutritious and well-balanced but also comforting, enjoyable, and full of flavour. Seeing residents smile, reminisce, or simply enjoy a meal is what motivates me every single day. Their well-being and quality of life are always at the heart of everything I do in the kitchen.

One of my proudest achievements was being nominated for an in-house MasterChef competition, where I was selected among the top six chefs within a large organisation. Before moving into catering, I began my professional career in IT and hold a master’s degree, which supports my structured, thoughtful, and high-standard approach to kitchen leadership.

I am passionate about leading my team with kindness, consistency, and pride, and about creating a dining experience where residents feel respected, cared for, and truly at home.
