Parklands Manor, Parklands Drive off Bittams Lane, Chertsey KT16 9FS
Signature at Parklands Manor is a new purpose-built care home opening in Chertsey during January 2018, providing residential and nursing care, as well as specialising in dementia care.
The home is located opposite St. Peter’s Hospital. It will offer exceptional accommodation, which is affordable and of a very high standard. It features 95 private suites, including 24 dedicated dementia rooms, plus suites suitable for couples.
Each room has ensuite facilities and a kitchenette with a built-in fridge. Rooms come unfurnished, allowing residents to bring those special objects to make their room feel just like home.
The dementia environment is designed in line with the University of Stirling research, globally recognised for their cutting-edge work in the field. Open plan and naturally lit, it offers Signature’s unique support and approach for individuals requiring dementia care.
There are two fully licensed restaurants, as well as a private dining room to entertain families and friends. There will be a large activities team who will arrange trips out, visiting speakers, performers and many more activities. There will also be an in-house hair salon, spa, treatment room, library and cinema.
Residents will range from those who are relatively independent and still drive through to those who require full nursing, dementia or end-of-life care.
The General Manager and team look forward to welcoming residents and families to the new home.
