My mum has been in Bagshot Gardens Care Home for 14 months. I can honestly say that my mum has received excellent care and I have no complaints whatsoever. Every staff member from hospitality, nurses, carers, receptionists and managers all get a 10 out of 10 from me.

My Mother has been living in Bagshot Gardens for over a year now and as a family we are extremely pleased with the care she receives. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and we are kept up to date with all aspects of mums care. The home is beautiful and always clean and tidy and the outside
gardens are immaculate and somewhere beautiful for us to take mum when we visit as she loves all the plants! She is regularly taken on trips and particularly enjoys when they have events on and the singers. I would highly recommend Bagshot Gardens.

I have been very happy here at Bagshot Gardens Care Home, and extremely well looked after in all departments. Huge compliments to all yr teams for how they operate. Of particular importance to me in respite was the willingness of care staff to assist me with dressing and washing, the efficiency with
which you managed by medication and the quality of food and service in the dining room .

I have recently returned home after six weeks of Respite Care in Bagshot Gardens Care Home. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful suite that had a small patio leading onto the well cared for pretty gardens . My room was cleaned daily and bed linen changed weekly, with personal washing weekly as
well.
The food was good and varied with a choice of starter and main and it catered for all dietary requirements.
There was a good programme of activities each day..
Something I found very impressive was the fact that your clothes were labelled for you on admittance.
The staff were all, friendly and caring and always had time for a chat. The medical staff were particularly observant and thoughtful. .
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who couldn't do enough for me.
I cant think of nicer surroundings to (in my case) regain one's health. Thank you Bagshot Gardens.

My mother has been at Bagshot Gardens since it was taken over. She is well cared for in every aspect of her life. She enjoys the activities in the home, although she does not wish to go out on trips any longer.
As a family, we are very happy with the care mum receives, and enjoy our visits to see
her where we make use of the bistro & facilities. We always feel welcome.

Mother in law has been at the home for around 4 years. Regards it as her home and feels safe and well cared for by the home and staff. It is a pleasant place to visit with a bistro and lounge with coffee, tea, snacks and cakes and homely. Have seen the excellent care and efforts to engage residents
on visits and special events, and fairs put on. Excellent care and attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

Mum's time at Bagshot was the very best we could have hoped for.


Everyone in the team is extraordinary.
The culture is that of a loving, caring family. Each individual resident in Assisted Living and Reminiscence is given the very best care and respect.
Activities are engaging and inventive - from

live music to petting zoo!
Outings in the minibus (incl wheelchairs) are a boon. It's possible for relatives to meet up to share the afternoon out. This made it feel like old times!
Communication re: health, requests for toiletries etc were always timely. Personal care is of the highest standard.
The nursing staff manage complex medical needs with ease. Likewise, the Carers are very supportive, loving and attentive.


Mum was immobile after her stroke, and had advanced Alzeimers, but felt truly supported and loved, by the staff, family and friends while at Bagshot. We all felt welcome to visit for as long, and as often as we liked.


I cannot recommend Bagshot Gardens Care Home highly enough.

Everybody at Bagshot Gardens has been so welcoming. A huge thank you to the dementia care staff for settling my Mum in so beautifully. They have made such an effort with her. She is so happy and often singing when we visit which is so lovely to see. Walking onto the 2nd floor is like walking into a
room of sunshine.
Her room is kept spotlessly clean and all the area's around the Carehome are really nice.
The food always smells delicious and they are happy to accommodate any changes in diet. So pleased she is now at this lovely Carehome.

My sister and I knew, as soon as we walked through the door at Bagshot Gardens Care Home, that this was the right place for mum. This was the sixth care home we had visited, and you could feel the happy atmosphere and positive energy immediately. The staff are friendly, loving and caring - nothing is
too much trouble; the food is good; the activities are great and mum's room is spacious and modern. Since being at Bagshot Gardens, mum has blossomed, come out of her shell, been more mobile with her walker and more communicative and confident. She has had a very positive experience during her few months respite. Bagshot Gardens is a wonderful place. Thank you all so very much for looking after our mum and for giving us peace of mind that she was safe and cared for in the best possible place.

We came into Bagshot Gardens Care Home for two weeks respite care following my wife's major abdominal surgery. We had previously investigated various specialist convalescent and rehab centres but none was able to take us as a couple; in view of our ages, this support was most important to us.
Our experience
with Avery could not have been better: the staff were all most kind, friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Our studio room was very comfortable and spacious. The food was of hotel standard and, on the rare occasions when the advertised menu was not suitable, the catering staff were happy to provide a delicious alternative.
After two weeks, we did not feel quite ready to manage at home on our own, so, at short notice, we asked to stay on for an extra week - like everything else, this was no problem. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay.

Thank you so much for the excellent care my father received during his respite stay. He found all the staff to be very friendly, attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. The staff know everyone by name and
have a very good rapport with all the residents.
The quality of care provided was of a very high standard and made me feel at ease knowing my father would be well looked after and treated with dignity.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bagshot Gardens Care Home and I'm sure my father will be back for another stay.

My mother-in-law spent two weeks respite at Bagshot Gardens and settled very well, this probably due to the excellent staff who made her and us feel very welcome and at home. We knew that she would be well taken care of and that gave us peace of mind. On visiting her we found her happy and in good spirits
which we were pleased to see. It was lovely to see her participating in various activities when we visited and we enjoyed sitting in the garden with her. The staff were very professional and the manager was always so helpful and reassuring and was always available if we had any questions or queries. We would definitely use Bagshot Gardens again. In our care for an elderly member of our church, we needed a transfer from hospital, the patience and thorough introduction to Bagshot Gardens Care Home and their services were very reassuring and the transfer went very smoothly. The kindness and professionalism of the staff at all levels and access
to senior staff make the care home a welcoming setting for visitors and it has been a pleasure to enjoy Bagshot Gardens’ hospitality. The standard of care and provision for the social life of residents is very impressive.

My name is Tiina. Yes, spelt with two I's, I am Finnish. I moved to England in May 2002 to continue my management placement in catering. I loved it so much I decided to stay. I joined in 2011, the same as Tracey, since the day it opened. I look after all resident's dietary needs, their nutrition their hydration, their intolerances, their allergies, and most importantly their likes and dislikes. Not everyone is a fan of everything and it's important to me that everyone gets something they like. I especially enjoy making special cakes for birthdays and anniversaries. Did you know I have made over 10 100th birthday cakes! Food is such an important part of good living and I am so passionate about making sure the residents enjoy their meals. Feel free to ask me anything when you visit. I am always happy to help.

I am the head of housekeeping and have worked here since the day it opened back in 2011. Me and my team make sure your laundry is named, washed, ironed and returned to you without anything going missing. I have a pretty good track record here! We keep the community sparking clean and take a lot of pride in our work. The residents enjoy seeing us each day when we pop into their rooms to make sure everything is as it should be. It's an absolute pleasure to work here.

Job Title: Maintenance Operative Joined: 2011

I started in Care over 13 years ago coming from a finance background, so it was quite different, but something I felt I’d like to do after helping care for family. I started as a Carer on Reminiscence which I really enjoyed and later went on to driving their minibus and taking them out on little adventures. Last year, after driving for many years and in different communities, I decided to settle down and just stay at Bagshot, helping with Maintenance a couple of days a week. In November I handed over the reins as Minibus Driver to my colleague, Cherrie, (I knew the residents would be in safe hands) and became a full-time Maintenance Operative. You will now find me walking down the corridors with paint on my shoes and sawdust on my trousers. I enjoy my new role very much, ensuring the residents’ have nice rooms to live in and everything is working as it should be. I’m very much looking forward to the Summer where hopefully we can get the residents involved in some DIY, if they want to of course.


Outside of work, I love walking driving, and exploring new places.
