My sister and I knew, as soon as we walked through the door at Bagshot Gardens Care Home, that this was the right place for mum. This was the sixth care home we had visited, and you could feel the happy atmosphere and positive energy immediately. The staff are friendly, loving and caring - nothing is too much trouble; the food is good; the activities are great and mum's room is spacious and modern. Since being at Bagshot Gardens, mum has blossomed, come out of her shell, been more mobile with her walker and more communicative and confident. She has had a very positive experience during her few months respite. Bagshot Gardens is a wonderful place. Thank you all so very much for looking after our mum and for giving us peace of mind that she was safe and cared for in the best possible place.

We came into Bagshot Gardens Care Home for two weeks respite care following my wife's major abdominal surgery. We had previously investigated various specialist convalescent and rehab centres but none was able to take us as a couple; in view of our ages, this support was most important to us.
Our experience with Avery could not have been better: the staff were all most kind, friendly and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Our studio room was very comfortable and spacious. The food was of hotel standard and, on the rare occasions when the advertised menu was not suitable, the catering staff were happy to provide a delicious alternative.

After two weeks, we did not feel quite ready to manage at home on our own, so, at short notice, we asked to stay on for an extra week - like everything else, this was no problem. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay.

Thank you so much for the excellent care my father received during his respite stay. He found all the staff to be very friendly, attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. The staff know everyone by name and have a very good rapport with all the residents.
The quality of care provided was of a very high standard and made me feel at ease knowing my father would be well looked after and treated with dignity.

My mother-in-law spent two weeks respite at Bagshot Gardens and settled very well, this probably due to the excellent staff who made her and us feel very welcome and at home. We knew that she would be well taken care of and that gave us peace of mind. On visiting her we found her happy and in good spirits which we were pleased to see. It was lovely to see her participating in various activities when we visited and we enjoyed sitting in the garden with her. The staff were very professional and the manager was always so helpful and reassuring and was always available if we had any questions or queries. We would definitely use Bagshot Gardens again. A big thank you to everyone at Bagshot Gardens.

In our care for an elderly member of our church, we needed a transfer from hospital, the patience and thorough introduction to Bagshot Gardens Care Home and their services were very reassuring and the transfer went very smoothly. The kindness and professionalism of the staff at all levels and access to senior staff make the care home a welcoming setting for visitors and it has been a pleasure to enjoy Bagshot Gardens’ hospitality. The standard of care and provision for the social life of residents is very impressive.

One member of staff, in particular, at Bagshot Gardens always puts so much thought and effort into celebrating events, their 15th anniversary was no exception. The staff are full of enthusiasm and ideas which in turn engages the residents and encourages them to participate. All of the staff that have helped to look after my mother have been nothing short of amazing.

Bagshot Gardens is a lovely caring home with a warm and friendly environment and always very welcoming. I know that Mum has settled in really well and is in the best possible hands.

My father has been at Bagshot Gardens for a couple of months now, after being in hospital for 7 weeks. For an independent man, this was a huge step, as we would now require nursing care. Since our first enquiry to the team, their communication has been excellent, offering support and advice. Dad is now enjoying the company, and I can see he is very well looked after. The staff are very welcoming and are so caring, nothing is too much trouble. The residents are encouraged to sing and participate in activities, which they enjoy. It's a tonic to watch. Thank you.

My mother is very happy at Bagshot Gardens. As soon as I discovered that we could have a care plan review, the staff made it happen within a couple of days. Having progressive multiple sclerosis, I have been in residential nursing care since 2018, in various homes in various locations. Bagshot Gardens is by far the best home that I have ever been in. As always, staff are key and the staff here are enthusiastic, keen to help and very proficient. It is the first home I have been in where the staff have been provided with proper, modern manual handling equipment, or at least the first where they have been trained to use it properly, instead of putting themselves at risk. My room and the home in general are beautifully presented and equipped. The food is excellent, with proper vegetarian alternatives when required. I can't imagine a better nursing home than this one and I am so happy to be here.

After looking at many care homes for my mother we settled on Bagshot Gardens Care Home and we are so glad we did.
The staff are excellent and most helpful as well as polite and professional. The building and the grounds are well looked after with beautiful accessible gardens.
Lots of organised entertainment including day trips or half-day trips in the home's minibus.

I would certainly recommend the home if asked.

After a fall, our mother took the difficult decision that she could no longer live independently in her own home at 90 years of age. We (my sister and I) investigated a number of local residential homes, and Signature at Bagshot was notably different from the start, and our mother moved into her beautiful room in mid-July. From the beginning, the Signature staff were like an extended family from the handyman, the concierge, the care staff, the nursing team etc - all were warm and welcoming and clearly passionate about ensuring all resident's needs were catered for. Our mother was a great talker, and all the Signature team took time to chat with her and listen to her reminisce. Her health deteriorated further in December, and we were impressed with how her care continued to be managed and the support extended to us, especially when she sadly passed away just before Christmas. We were so grateful that for the last few months of her life, she was in such a wonderful environment.

I joined in 2011, the same as Tracey, since the day it opened. I look after all resident's dietary needs, their nutrition their hydration, their intolerances, their allergies, and most importantly their likes and dislikes. Not everyone is a fan of everything and it's important to me that everyone gets something they like. I especially enjoy making special cakes for birthdays and anniversaries. I started in Care over 13 years ago coming from a finance background, so it was quite different, but something I felt I’d like to do after helping care for family. I started as a Carer on Reminiscence which I really enjoyed and later went on to driving their minibus and taking them out on little adventures. Last year, after driving for many years and in different communities, I decided to settle down and just stay at Bagshot, helping with Maintenance a couple of days a week. In November I handed over the reins as Minibus Driver to my colleague, Cherrie, (I knew the residents would be in safe hands) and became a full-time Maintenance Operative. You will now find me walking down the corridors with paint on my shoes and sawdust on my trousers. I enjoy my new role very much, ensuring the residents’ have nice rooms to live in and everything is working as it should be. I’m very much looking forward to the Summer where hopefully we can get the residents involved in some DIY, if they want to of course.

Outside of work, I love walking driving, and exploring new places.
