We had to find a care home quickly so my sister could be discharged from hospital and settled before Christmas. We visited several and were really struck from our initial meeting by the feeling of warmth within the home as we were walking around. All the support in helping us sort things out moving her from the hospital to becoming a resident was greatly appreciated. The difference we have seen in our sister in a few short weeks is vast which is a result of: getting her medication on time, lots to do, being made to feel welcome by everyone (staff and residents), good food and the feeling of reassurance she now has if she feels unwell at any time of day or night! The staff can't do enough to help her (and us) make sure she feels at home. She already wishes she'd moved in months ago! The relief for us not having to worry about what the next phone call will bring has been huge. Thank you.

My mum came to Silvermere for respite care and from the first enquiry we made until the day she went back home, the service from everyone at Silvermere has been fantastic. We couldn't have picked a better place to look after mum. The staff, to a person, are amazing. They made mum feel welcome and helped get her through what was a stressful time. The home is clean and tidy, the food looks and smells great (and mum said it tasted good too) and there was a wide variety of entertainment on offer.
Should we ever require care again, be it respite or something more permanent, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Silvermere.
