The hospital wanted to discharge with continued care at home. Within an hour of my call, the Silvermere manager met me at the hospital to review my father. My brother was not coping well at home and we both thought it would be best if he could go to a place that provides care while he recovers. I found Silvermere Cobham online and contacted them. From the start to the very end Silvermere Cobham staff have been so kind and attentive to my brother. They have looked after him so well, he is now walking with his trolley again. They would call me daily with updates. I can not recommend this home enough and I am sure my brother will be back at Silvermere Cobham in the near future. My mother went into Silvermere Care Home after spending a week in hospital following a fall. She was very confused and not wanting to eat. After approx 5 weeks she was almost back to her prefall self. Her care has been first class. The residents are looked after so well, gently encouraged to eat and take medication, if applicable. They have lots of activities for them to join in with, organised by a great team. The food is of a high standard, relatives can join their family members at meal times, which gives them a chance to review the food. At a time that was very stressful, the management team were very helpful and made the transition from hospital to care home a very smooth process. I can now relax somewhat knowing that she is being so well cared for.

When we came to have a look, the lady was very caring. All the staff that saw us was very welcoming and really took time to talk to my friend which is what he needed. She also introduced me and my friend to the other managers, who were very lovely. My friend agreed on that day after looking around to come in for two weeks and choose a room with a garden view on the top floor. His stay at Avery Healthcare was exceptional. He really enjoyed his time there and they even had a birthday party for him which was such a delight for him. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and all the care you provide.
