Silvermere Care Home - Avery Healthcare

My mother needed to get some respite care urgently last weekend, despite me calling on a Saturday morning at 8 am, all of the staff I spoke to couldn’t have been more helpful, and by 2 pm, my mother was comfortable in her new room, safe and sound. Many thanks to everyone for making this difficult time go as smoothly as it could.

I have recently visited my grandmother, who has been at Silvermere for some time. The reception I recieved was faultless, and even though we all still have to be aware of Covid regulations, this was carried out smoothly and effectively. The care staff were amazing and treated my grandmother with such dignity and respect. I did have the pleasure of meeting the manager, who answered all my questions in a knowledgeable and professional way, and gave me such reassurance that my grandmother is extremely happy and well cared for. Thank you to all for your continued care and support.

My father has been at Silvermere since August 2020. He has settled in very well and has made many friends since moving in. He loves the carers and all the staff there. He always speaks so highly of the support he receives. I know it's not always easy, but they do a fantastic job.

He is always so happy when I visit him.

My mother has lived at Silvermere for three years now and is very looked after and is very happy there. She has made many friends and always loves the activities.

Silvermere Care Home is a lovely place and my father is very happy there. My father moved into Silvermere two years ago and is well looked after. My father always tells me how nice the team is and everyone is so helpful.

My father never thought he would move to a care home however as his health deteriorated he had to move to a care home. We chose Silvermere Care Home as from the very first visit to Silvermere he absolutely loved it. He has so much fun living there and is always so happy when I visit him. My father always tells me how lovely the staff are all there. They all do an amazing job.

My mother has been at Silvermere for around 4-years now and is absolutely so happy there. She loves all activities provided, and the staff are so wonderful there. All staff, from the management to the housekeepers, are fantastic. Thank you all for caring for my mother so well.

My mother has resided here for the last 3-years and has always been so happy and extremely well looked after. She has formed friendships with both staff and fellow residents, which has made her stay even more enjoyable.

The home is beautiful, more akin to a hotel than a care home. The gardens are kept to an excellent standard, and it's great to see residents and families enjoying the garden. Most importantly, my nan is very happy here and always tells me how kind and caring the staff are towards her. The home is run in a professional, but a warm manner, and we get regular updates from staff. Couldn't recommend higher.

My father is very happy at Silvermere Care Home. He loves all the activities that are provided and has so much fun living there. Nothing is a problem, and there’s always helpful staff around. The home is run by an exceptional manager who leads an amazing team.

Silvermere is a very beautiful home. My mother is very happy at Silvermere and has made so many friends being here at Silvermere. She absolutely loves it there, and the staff and manager are wonderful.

Absolutely best care home. My father is so happy. Recently, he went to a gentleman’s lunch, which he enjoyed so much. Even had lunch on the manager's credit card, which he excitedly told my brothers and sisters.

Following the sad death of my father (a resident of Silvermere) earlier this year, I have been most impressed in the way that the managers and all staff at Silvermere have supported my mother in all aspects of her living. They gently adjusted her room for single occupancy, encouraged her to eat and drink, have her hair and nails done and to take part in group activities. They have helped her "keep going" in such a difficult period. I want to thank the team at Silvermere for all their hard work and support.

Have just moved my mother into this care home as she previously spent three weeks last year in respite care after a hospital stay. She has settled in very quickly, and I am very happy, as he daughter, with how this has happened due to the care and kindness of the staff.

My parents spent two weeks at Silverware for respite care. They were very well cared for and commented how kind the staff were and how well looked after they felt. When I visit my grandmother, everyone is so welcoming and caring. The carers treat her with so much respect and so caring towards her. The carers have been amazing in helping her use her phone to call us. Would recommend Silvermere Care Home to anyone.
