The lady I've been helping look after has only just moved into Elstree View but right from the start all of the staff and colleagues have been extremely attentive helping her to settle in quickly and not be anxious or disorientated. She seems very well cared for and happy to be so well looked after.
The care seems far better than anything she had previously received in her home. Long may it continue.

My mother moved into Elstree view mid January and she has got a lovely studio flat overlooking the front which is what she likes, the staff and management have been very welcoming and always respond quickly to any queries.
The food has been lovely and the cleanliness is 5 star. The entertainment
has been very nice , they had a singer in last Monday and he was absolutely terrific .
I hope every continues as it has started

My Cousin Carol has been a resident at Elstree View for just short of 2 years. She has dementia, and the staff are wonderful with her, and deal with her condition with kindness and care. She, like all of us has difficult days, as well as good, but I see she is comfortable and well looked after whenever
I visit. A thank you to all the staff for their excellent work.

Elstree View - my mum. The building and comfortable furniture make it feel homely and inviting and the decor and fitments are so well thought out it is a pleasure to visit my mum. She settled quickly as everyone is so friendly and has a lovely room with a kitchenette and a lovely bathroom with a walk
in shower. The carers are all wonderful and so friendly, caring and obliging. She is enjoying going to some form of chair keep fit every morning and we can see it has already helped her mobility and walking. She will love being outside in the summer in the lovely gardens with a fantastic view of London. There's a great coffee lounge with drinks and snacks available all day, called The Bistro and with the friends she has made she can sit and chat whereas before at home alone she was lonely and bored. She loves the musical entertainment they regularly have and other interesting activities. I can relax knowing she is so well looked after day and night. She is so much happier.

My mother has been a resident at Elstree Avery Care Home for almost three and half years. In that time she has received the best care and attention that has made her stay comfortable and so friendly. Mum has enjoyed the various outings including stately homes, restaurants and cinema visits. Since
Mum's entry into the home she has managed to put on weight. She is always encouraged to eat well and looks forward to all her meals. The staff at Avery really look after Mum so well. When we visit Mum we come away feeling good and know she is happy. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a friendly and helpful atmosphere.

The warmth, standards of care and professional support across the Teams at Elstree View is amazing. I cannot conceive of a more wonderful place for our mother at this time in her life. We are so impressed with all the facilities and the recent refurbishment has given Elstree View the ambience of a

My mum moved into Chorleywood Manor in August 2025 after a wonderful respite experience in the June. Having had previous experience of Chorleywood I had no hesitation in booking her in for her respite visit for two weeks, and whilst there she had such a wonderful experience that she decided she would
like to become a permanent resident.
The home is extremely clean, the entrance welcoming and the staff are all friendly, approachable and helpful. The food is good, with a lovely variety of dishes on offer, and whilst the staff can be extremely busy nothing is too much trouble for them. Any slight niggles are just that, slight, and there's always someone to check in with to get things back on an even keel.
For me is huge peace of mind that my mum is in a safe, warm and well cared for environment, and for my mum to the knowledge that she is looked in on regularly, and looked after to the highest standard.

My mother has been a resident since October, after earlier having a period of respite. The decision to house her at Chorleywood Manor was incredibly difficult but we as a family couldn't manage her care needs at home.
From all the homes we visited Chorleywood Manor felt like it had the best community
and homely feel to it. Since mum has been a resident i am confident that she is in good and safe hands. The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. The food looks to be good and there is a raft of entertainment and events for the residents. I am so far very happy with our choice and whilst i still have a heavy heart and sense of guilt that she is there, I know it's the best place for her and she is well cared for.

Elton House provided Dad with excellent care over the last 18 months, supporting both Dad and us in his last stage. Particularly as Dad came to the end of his life. The compassion of all the staff came to the fore. Care is a hard buisness and these guys do it so well. Thank you.

My sister took up residence at Chorleywood Manor in September 2025. Until that time, she had been living alone and was struggling with everyday life. Since being at Chorleywood Manor, she has become a different person. She is content, is well-fed, her medication is adminstered regularly, and everytime
we talk to her, she has improved in her manner and outlook, and is now saying that she doesn't know what she would have done, had she stayed in her own apartment. So I would like to say a huge thank you to Chorleywood Manor and all the staff for giving my sister a new lease of life. I cannot speak too highly of the care that my sister receives every day. The atmosphere in the home is upbeat, happy and cheerful. There is always something going on, whether it be animal petting or scrabble and cocktails! My sister could not be anywhere better.

My mum and dad have now been in Acacia Mews for over 4 years and 1 year respectively. Throughout this time, they have received great care from all members of staff. The staff have kept us informed as and when mum and dad's care needed adjusting. Standards of cleanliness is always very high.

My Mother moved into Elton House on 4/11/25 after breaking her hip and wrist and no longer able to live on her own. I can highly recommend this home on every level. The facilities are exceptional. The food is extremely good with a choice of 2 restaurants to chose from. The staff in every department
are so helpful and so caring. My mother has adjusted well there and now feels at home.

Our experience of Acacia Mews has been excellent. My mother settled in very quickly and comfortably. She is very much enjoying being a resident.
The staff are highly professional and caring. I have had no hesitation in trusting them to support my mother.
The home is very well run and managed, and
the facilities are clean and function well. Activities are a good balance between being varied and providing a reassuring routine. Food and refreshments are of high quality.

Our mum has been here since May 2024, on the dementia floor. She has always been treated with care and compassion by the staff. We are always kept informed about any medical issues that come up on our visits or by phone.
