Gaining feedback or consistent information on our resident is not always easy to gain even though staff always say email us or call, it can depend who takes the call to the information you receive.

The garden is beautiful especially in the summer months. The entertainment and activities that are planned weekly are fabulous. I love how Fiona and the team plan beautiful days out too. Xx

I cannot recommend the staff and amenities here enough.

To help my mum settle in, the team gently remind her about activities she might like, and encourage her to join groups on the outdoor terrace for a cup of tea.

We aredelghted with the care of my husband. Everyone iscaring, friendly efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them . As a visitor every day I have been so welcome by everyone,. My husband is happy in the home, eating well and responds to the staff and I would completely recommend Chorleywood Manor. My mother-in-law was a very contented resident here so when a family friend needed to move from living alone, this was my first choice. Having toured most of the care homes in the area, we felt that Chorleywood Manor offered an excellent balance of dignified independent living alongside help with tasks and reassurance where necessary. The staff body is consistently kind and offer high quality care and, importantly, there is low turnover so there are always familiar faces around. The manager, Fiona, is responsive to individual needs and the lady, Tracy, who first met us and arranged the settling in went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Finally cleanliness and food quality is high. This alongside the extremely well-behaved, occasionally-seen resident dog means Chorleywood Manor felt very quickly like home, thank you.

I would have no hesitation recommending the home. Best thing we have done for Mum and now she is more local for me to visit I get to see her far more frequently than when she was in her own house a distance away.

For me is huge peace of mind that my mum is in a safe, warm and well cared for environment, and for my mum to the knowledge that she is looked in on regularly, and looked after to the highest standard.

From all the homes we visited Chorleywood Manor felt like it had the best community and homely feel to it. Since mum has been a resident i am confident that she is in good and safe hands. The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. The food looks to be good and there is a raft of entertainment and events for the residents. I am so far very happy with our choice and whilst i still have a heavy heart and sense of guilt that she is there, I know it's the best place for her and she is well cared for.

My sister took up residence at Chorleywood Manor in September 2025. Until that time, she had been living alone and was struggling with everyday life. Since being at Chorleywood Manor, she has become a different person. She is content, is well-fed, her medication is adminstered regularly, and everytime we talk to her, she has improved in her manner and outlook, and is now saying that she doesn't know what she would have done, had she stayed in her own apartment. So I would like to say a huge thank you to Chorleywood Manor and all the staff for giving my sister a new lease of life. I cannot speak too highly of the care that my sister receives every day. The atmosphere in the home is upbeat, happy and cheerful. There is always something going on, whether it be animal petting or scrabble and cocktails! My sister could not be anywhere better.

Mum seems very happy and finds it very comfortable and warming. All of the staff are friendly, nothing is ever any bother to them. I am so pleased that she has settled down at Chorleywood Manor. Thank you to all who work there.

My sister who is living with dementia has been at Chorleywood Manor since July 2025. Spending a month in Assisted Living and then following a minor stroke in the Dementia unit. The facilities are excellent and the standard of cleanliness, food and care exceptional. My sister was in a poor state of physical and mental health when she moved to the Manor and extremely depressed. She is now physically so much stronger and healthier, and very happy and content. The carers are skilled and attentive and a wide range of activities are offered throughout the day, she especially loves to attend the highly professional musical events. I cannot visit as often as I'd like and when I arrive unexpectedly my sister is always clean, well dressed and involved in some stimulating activity she does not want to stop for a visitor! I am so pleased she has found a home from home and a caring family at Chorleywood Manor Care Home.

I cannot enthuse enough about my experience, but moreover my Mum's experience. I had done my due diligence prior to purposely making my first visit- un-announced. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere wonderful and the quality of every aspect of life at Chorleywood Manor seemed amazing. I was happily shown around all rooms by the friendly and empathetic Tracy. I knew immediately this was the perfect fit for my wonderful Mum, who I knew would flourish in spite of her dementia, in such an environment. It is now 6 months since Mum became a resident, initially via respite and then full time. I have never wavered in my opinion about the quality of Chorleywood-the wonderful environment that it is, the quality of all aspects of life there, but most of all the exceptional staff. Without exception they all take care of my Mum so well and to see my lovely Mum so content is totally heart warming when making such a decision on behalf of a parent or loved one. Thank you all

The home is kept so clean and beautifully decorated. Putting a loved one into care is such a hard thing to go through, but Chorleywood Manor has been a great choice for my mum.

This care home is exceptional. The official rating is frankly ridiculous and not worth the paper it's written on (my understanding for something very minor in the scheme of things - an issue with an oxygen tank or something which was not in their control). It's a total insult to the staff who are absolutely wonderful in every way. They organise a wide range of activities for the residents and my father, while failing mentally and physically, is incredibly well looked after. It is a great comfort to my sister and I that he's in a place where he is comfortable and stimulated despite the great limitations of his dementia. Thank you Chorleywood Manor Care Home!!

My Mum moved to Chorleywood Manor in January 2025 - I'm a bit delayed in writing this review but there has been a few months for evaluation. I have nothing but praise for every aspect of this wonderful care home. My Mum arrived in a poor state after a stint in hospital and has flourished ever since - healthy and more alert than ever. Mum consistently reports how well cared for she is and is happy. In addition, the staff welcome us (the family) to the home as if we belong there. Such a feeling of warmth and an abundance of smiles from everyone. There are a variety of activities available such as arts and crafts, entertainment and outings. I can tell the staff really care about their residents and seem happy in what they do. Recently, a big birthday event was held at the home for Mum, hosted by us but the effort of the Activities Team in preparing the vast space really blew us away. Thank you doesn't feel like enough!

My mum and dad moved to Chorleywood a few months ago, and I am thoroughly impressed by their experience. In particular, the staff are really friendly and always helpful. The facilities are good, there are lots of varied activities, and the whole site is spotless.

My mum has been resident at Chorleywood now just short of three months. After taking a little while to settle in with the help of the staff she, and we, found a great routine that worked for all of us. I, and we as a family are very pleased with the outcome. There are plenty of things to do, which are all totally voluntary, which have suited mum down to the ground. The staff are amazing, I've never met so many smiley people who all take the time to say hello and are so welcoming. I would recommend Chorleywood Manor to anyone

PS: Shout out for the staff member who ha got my mum drawing and painting again after so many years!
