The moment I walked through the door at Chorleywood Manor and met the client liaison manager, I knew this was the right care home. My mum had been in hospital after a bad fall and had deteriorated badly. The excellent care she received from all the staff and carers saw her improve greatly. The staff are always happy and helpful, engaging so nicely with my mum. The food is excellent and caters for her needs. My mum loves all the musical entertainment and special events they put on. I have seen her singing and dancing which has absolutely delighted us. It’s more like a hotel than a care home. Thank you to everyone at Chorleywood Manor.

Our mother was resident at Chorleywood Manor for ten years until she died this September aged 95, initially in assisted living and latterly in reminiscence. She lived with dementia throughout this time and the care she received was outstanding: kind, considerate and always respectful of her needs and wishes, even as her understanding diminished over time. The management and staff are exceptional people at every level who became genuine friends to us in the family. We always knew every day that she was in the safest possible place and far from being a footnote to her life, those ten years were actually a richly blossoming new part of it. One of the reasons for this was the range of activities provided, from art classes to singing, poetry groups to quiz nights. The facilities are spacious and comfortable and the catering of a very high standard. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking for a warm and caring home for themselves or a relative.

Thank you so much Chorleywood Manor for looking after my husband in August. He would not have managed home alone while I had to be away for three weeks and you really came to our rescue! He had such a brilliant time with you. The food is awesome and the care is second to none. Your immaculate and beautifully furnished care home is more like a five star hotel to be honest. We were so impressed! All the (smiling) staff really went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and happy at all times. Thank you very much indeed and God bless you all for all that you do!

My wife has been a resident at Chorleywood Manor since the end of June 2023. It was not an easy decision and I am delighted to say that I am very pleased with the care that my wife receives. All the staff are very friendly and approachable and no effort seems to be spared to ensure that the residents are able to live the best lives they can. The menus, activities, cleanliness and overall happy atmosphere of the home are just what anyone could wish for and it seems more like a luxury hotel than a care home.

We moved my dad from a previous home in March 2023. We are so glad we did! Dad's quality of life has gone up hugely. The quality of care and the genuine caring nature of all the staff - from the office, reception and carers is second to none. I would highly recommend it!

My mother came to this outstanding assisted care home at the end of June following a serious fall. She recovered so very well, and quickly, thanks to the kindness and support of all the team. After having made many friends in the first month, and having enjoyed the company and care of the team, mum decided to stay longer! The quality of care is excellent, everyone, from the carers to senior managers, are very visible and caring, and very caring of mum, and the whole family. This is the first time we have used a care home, and I certainly wouldn't class this as a care home, it is the same experience and quality as living on a cruise ship, five stars! Mum has a beautiful quality one bedroom apartment, with contemporary finishes, very comfortable, it really is home from home. Mum loves the entertainment, food is excellent, the family and friends love dining with her, and I just couldn't fault anything! Thank you Avery Collection!

I cannot praise everyone enough at Chorleywood Manor (previously Signature). My dad has been there since the end of December 2022 and has settled in very well. The care staff are very friendly and try to go above and beyond to make sure my dad is comfortable. All staff are very friendly, not only to my dad, but to us as visitors too. When looking for a suitable care home for my dad, this definitely felt the most clean, comforting and friendly. All these qualities are very much still in place. In my view, I chose the best one.

Everything about the whole operation is professional. This is the level of care anyone would want and deserve. They are also thoughtful, and that is what we have experienced. There are specific people assigned to him to keep everything constant and stable for him. Whenever we visit, we are always welcome.

We needed to get better care for my elderly aunt than she was getting at home. She suffers from Dementia/Alzheimer’s, and we graduated from a “live-in” carer. This proved to be insufficient. We visited several homes and settled for Signature at Chorleywood. The process was very easy, and we were assisted all through the process by one lady. We arranged a visit and tour, and all our questions were answered. From the day our aunt moved in, she has received first-class care and attention from all the staff. They all do a wonderful job ensuring everyone is taken into the dining room for meals and receives any special requirements, and nothing is too much for them. The residents are assisted with all their personal hygiene, and we are kept up to date with what the staff require for my aunt's personal needs, and also when a GP had visited and the results of GP visits. I cannot recommend them enough. I am unable to rate the home any higher than five stars. The home is like a five-star hotel.

Although Mum has dementia, her general health has improved, and she is now walking better and also seems much more engaged. The staff are great, and every interaction I have had with them has been courteous and respectful - I know my mum is in good hands.

Staff are always welcoming, and they are now part of our extended family. We and Mum, are always greeted by first name, and all the staff take an interest in Mum, regardless of what position they hold. The activities available create an atmosphere of fun and a zest for life, with staff acknowledging each individual resident's own abilities. Senior staff demonstrate a proactive approach and genuine care and are always seeking to do what's best for and works for Mum. The reassurance that Mum is genuinely cared for and safe is priceless.

Such an amazing home. Everyone is so friendly and the care my mother has received since moving in last year is wonderful. There is such a lovely atmosphere and great activities. My family and I are very thankful and pleased that we chose Signature at Chorleywood, was definitely the right choice. Would recommend the home to anyone.

I am a regular visitor to Signature at Chorleywood Care Home and always receive a lovely warm welcome. The residents all look happy and well looked after and do lots of lovely activities. The staff are all very caring and kind.

I cannot recommend Signature at Chorleywood highly enough. My mother had a fall in July of last year, and whilst recovering in the hospital, she decided she was unable to return home and live independently. My initial enquiries regarding placing my mother in the care of Signature were answered immediately, which was extremely helpful due to the short amount of time we had to make a decision. My point of contact was the client liaison manager, who immediately put me and my family at ease. She showed us a variety of rooms available, explained how the level of care would be determined and managed to complete the moving-in process within less than two weeks. My mother was welcomed with open arms and has enjoyed every minute of the last five months. Every member of staff my mother and I have had contact with during this time has been outstanding; their care and enthusiasm every day amaze me.

My father is treated with care and dignity. There are so many activities he can get involved with, but equally, if he wants to go back to his room and watch TV, that is encouraged as well. I am very happy that my father lives at Signature at Chorleywood and would not hesitate to recommend the home.

Since Mum has become a resident she has started laughing again, she has so many activities to keep her occupied and has made some good friends. The staff are lovely and very caring. We couldn't be happier and more importantly, Mum couldn't be happier.

My mother needed to have a few weeks of respite in the summer of 2022. Finding the right home for her was one of the most difficult but necessary decisions I've ever had to make. First impressions really matter, and the feelings of being welcomed and being heard were very clear from the outset; this is how my mother was embraced and made to feel at home. The building has the warmth and style of a boutique hotel - spacious, spotless and beautifully kept gardens. But it's the staff - all the staff - who make the difference - their collective kindness, professionalism and care continues to be a comfort to my mother and to us as a family. The flexibility of the kitchen to cater to different tastes is impressive, the range of activities on offer every day and every evening help to keep mind and body active. To know that this level of care and attention is being offered to my mother and my children's grandmother around the clock is an immense comfort and we're all so appreciative.

Dad has now spent a year living in the secure dementia community. The professionalism, care, empathy, and warmth (and humour) that the entire superbly-led reminiscence team provide to Dad and to us is exceptional. Each visit, staff seek me out to tell me something about Dad that recognises his humanity even while in the grip of dementia. As Dad's condition progresses, they hold my hand through every new development and patiently explain the implications. What needs to be considered to keep Dad safe/well is mind-boggling, yet I only ever see calm, respectful and dignified care - from housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, catering, reception staff or the caring and wellbeing teams. When there is an emergency, and we have to follow an ambulance to the hospital, we have excellent liaison and support right up to the point when Dad returns. And I mustn't forget the sympathetic and helpful family liaison we had as we explored Dad moving in. Every single member of staff is greatly appreciated by us. Thank you!

My nan was previously in a different care home and was relocated to Signature at Chorleywood, thanks to one lady. The change in her nature is second to none and can only be a result of the high standard of care she receives at this home. She is able to socialise with other residents and has a much better quality of life, with personal care being one of the best standards I have seen. She is checked on regularly, receives the care that she needs when she needs it, and now our family can sleep peacefully knowing Nan is being taken extremely good care of. The communal area has a homely feel, with hot drinks and snacks available for everyone at all times; it feels like a hotel.
