Albion Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare

We've always loved how kind and professional the staff are. The events they put together are always great. The summer event with international foods was amazing. It is never an easy decision, if it is a decision at all to see a relative in a care home. I feel fortunate that my mother in law lives at Albany Court.

My father has been a resident at Albion Court since November 2025, initially under Respite care provision and now as a permanent resident. I was not involved in the arrangements, so was concerned about how Dad would respond toward the transition from his home environment, to a nursing home. I have found that he adapted well, is settled, looks well, mostly, his clothes are smart, and generally matched, but on a few occasions I have noticed that a bit more thought could be put into choice of top to go with trouser bottoms. Dad was always used to looking smart. Overall myself and siblings are satisfied with his care, staff and surroundings. I am not involved with his finances.

Always a pleasant environment for visitors and certainly for residents. Staff are really friendly and receptionist is really professional. Management is approachable as well as senior nursing staff. Overall very nice care home.

It goes without saying that my husband has been in Albion Court 3 times now for respite, and he seems happy when in there. The music activity is something that goes down really well and brings a bit of sunshine into people's lives,

It is so nice to come back time and again to Albion Court as a return respite. The care and consideration shown to dads care and our family is second to none. This is Dad's third stay at Albion Court. He likes to see the same faces and loves the trains going past. I personally love all the singers and creative ideas to keep all residents happy.

Wonderful staff, great service, awesome care. Highly recommended care home for any senior persons. The facilities and surroundings was perfect as well as the place being updated and very clean. Very modern facility.

First impression of the home was very good, very clean and staff very helpful as we have only been here three days. I am very impressed.

I have felt very supported and so has my uncle by the deputy manager and staff who has worked with me and my uncle to get him well again. The deputy manager has listened to my concerns and put me at ease with his explanations and levels of empathy in my situation. My uncle is safe here and have confidence in the deputy manager to ensure my uncle is well cared for. Thanks.

I find the staff very helpful and approachable. Since mum has moved onto that floor, everything so far has been great, no problem so far, the staff have been very accommodating. Thanks.

All staff are very friendly and supportive. Very clean environment and maintenance of hygiene. Peaceful and relaxed environment. Administration staff are also helpful for residents and to their family. They are strict and regulated with protocols. Very happy with their service and look after.

Very good home. Staff are clean and hardworking, caring for the people they look after on a daily basis and I always recommend people to the home.

Albion Court Care Home is excellent. They offer a high standard of care to residents. Having worked in health care myself I can also say the staff offer good service to relatives. They keep them well informed and are always happy to discuss any issues and explain things.

Albion Court has given my mother a safe and happy home to live. The staff has been kind and caring. They've helped to make her transition more easy to accept. Any concerns have been addressed and my mothers wishes has been recorded in her plan. So far so good.

I'm going to describe my experience with this care home. My Dad stayed here for around 6 months and he had a really good experience. He was really happy here with the staff. The staff were really friendly and they all treated my Dad as a friend. I would recommend this care home for your loved ones.

Upon visiting the home prior to my father being offered a placement here I found management and also staff to be very friendly and informative. We have also been greeted with a smile and a very professional manner each time we have visited. All staff appear to interact very well with the people who live here.

My father has recently moved into Albion Court and so far the staff has been very high in their standards of care and quality also the activities coordinator has been so helpful, actually 10 out of 10 as has all the other staff the home is so clean it's like home from home good on the cleaners for doing an excellent job the management is so lovely especially the manager for taking time to show us around on our first meeting as she was ready to leave but she stayed for us to give us a tour. I'd give the home a 5-star review thanks for taking care of Dad.

So friendly and helpful, first experience of a care home, happy to leave my partner for 2 weeks of respite care. I am confident that he will be well cared for.
