The home is well run and organised. My father has settled well during a difficult phase of his life. All staff have facilitated the transition demonstrating a high level of care and empathy. My partner's father is very well looked after and the accommodation he is in is better than some five-star hotels. Everything the residents require is available and there is a good mix of activities that the residents can be involved in. The staff are excellent and a credit to the nursing home. If I was in a nursing home, this would be the one I would be in.

The satisfactory rating for 'Value for Money' is no indication of your costs. I just find it despicable that caring for Dementia patients has to be private-funded.
Thank you.

My mother was one of the first residents at Albion Court. The care and attention given to her was second to none, she was treated with care and dignity and all her needs were accommodated especially in her later years when her needs became more complex. We salute you.

My mother became a resident of Albion Court in January 2021 and has really settled into the care home environment having lived independently by herself for over 40 years. Albion Court is a spacious, calm, welcoming, clean and tidy care home. Mother always comment on how lovely, helpful, and caring all the staff are with her and with the other residents. The Activities Team works very hard to ensure residents are kept occupied by organising various daily events, for example, resident appropriate exercises, seated tai chi, craftwork, preparing food for birds, etc. Although mother's family were unable to visit her due to the Covid lockdown, we had many enjoyable conversations with her by telephone or Skype calls and now two of her nominated children are able to visit her in the home. I have found the management and her support team very approachable, accommodating and I would personally like to thank them all for looking after and caring for my mother.

My mom was only in the home for a short time, but the treatment she received was really good. I found the staff to be very caring and kind. Each time I went, there were different staff, but the care was there all the time. Everyone was thoughtful, kind and gentle to my mom.

My mother loved this establishment as soon as she came here. If she is happy, that puts my mind at rest. She enjoys the activities and the company. Since being here, she has gained weight, so her appetite has improved with food that she enjoys. Staff are friendly.

My mum was a resident at Albion Court Care Home for over 3 years. Mum was treated with great care, dignity and respect throughout her stay. Well supported by all members of nursing, carers, medical staff, activities team and other members of the care home team. Mum became a favourite of many of the carers, we observed this every time her family members visited. We sadly lost mum in 2021, but on behalf of her family, we are thankful and grateful for the wonderful care given.

During this period of COVID even though we haven't been able to visit we have been able to have a telephone conversation and also skype calls which brought a lot of joy.
