I am so happy with this care home, who looked after my dad so well. The staff are so helpful and caring. I was upset when he first got there because he had always lived at home and not anywhere else. Thank you everyone for looking after him.

Mum came to Lavender Lodge in March 2024 and has now settled in.
The care and nurse staff are all friendly and helpful to Mum's needs.
The activity ladies have been great with Mum and nothing is too much trouble when visiting with young members of my family to keep Mum and them amused.
The food
is good and no trouble to make an alternative meal if Mum doesn’t like the menu for the day.
The manager and reception team are friendly and welcoming to our and mum's needs.
All in all is good.

The staff and management have been fantastic from the start. My dad is well cared for and has settled in better than we ever expected. Three of us (1 family, and 2 friends) explored care homes in the care and chose Lavender Lodge as being most suited regarding cosiness and friendliness. When he came in he was in a poor state mentally and physically. The change in just over 2 weeks is incredible - clean, well-fed, less confused, mobile
and accepting of his new surroundings (although missing his own home)). We have always felt welcome here and it's such a relief to see our friend recover his faculties. Next step - improvement in his hearing.

My cousin has been in Lavender Lodge for nearly three months and the care she has received is excellent. She is very happy there and I cannot fault the home in any way. The Manager and office staff are very helpful and supportive and the nurse and care staff are excellent.

The staff at Lavender Lodge have shown fantastic care and understanding for both my parents. They were particularly caring and sensitive around the time of my dad's death and showed real empathy and support to me and Mum. I know that Mum is well cared for and safe which is a wonderful relief, I no longer
constantly worry about her well-being and safety all day! The activities provided seem to be appropriate for Mum in terms of her dementia and she is able to access them at her own level.

Lavender Lodge is the most friendly and caring place, they look after our dad so well and we enjoy going to visit him weekly.
The team of carers and office staff are all so helpful and they do so much interaction with all patients and celebrate birthdays and other events with such fun.
The food is
cooked fresh every day and we are able to have meals with Dad if we wish to.
A fantastic place.

All the staff at Lavender Lodge are conscientious, warm, caring and thoughtful. You're always greeted with a smile and any query you might have is looked into and answered in detail.
The food is good and plentiful. My cousin is settling in well and all his needs are met. I'd like to say a big 'thank

I am very happy with the way my wife is looked after at Lavender Lodge.
The staff seem to go out of their way to be a good friend to everybody there.
The food is very diverse and very good, the care for all the residents is excellent, they always seem to be arranging events for the residents.

First time I had visited a care home. Welcomed with smiles and shown to friend's room to celebrate her birthday. She looked so much healthier and happy, even dancing to music! The staff were so lovely, made her a cake which we had with tea. The few patients I passed on the corridor stopped and spoke
to me, all seemed happy! One of them stroked my hair and said "it's like silk!" I wish! Well done to all of you. Keep smiling.

Moved my mother to Lavender Lodge Care Home last year and have been delighted with this exceptional care home.
Professional and caring, my mother is in excellent hands.

Lavender Lodge is lovely - full of staff who truly care about the residents and make every effort to ensure health, happiness and satisfaction whenever possible.


Today we had my grandfather's 97th birthday in the home. We were allowed to bring in a birthday lunch for him and eat it in a small, private

dining area as a family. The staff had gone to great efforts to recognise his special day and make the family feel welcome.


His two carers are particular favourites amongst the staff, although there are many more who we could name and praise.

Absolutely fantastic! Staff are genuinely caring, considerate, supportive & friendly. Very informative on what’s happening with a loved one. My nan was moved here from another care home, and I am so glad my family made the right choice to select Lavender Lodge as her permanent home. She has vascular
dementia and loss of mobility and Lavender Lodge accommodates my nans needs perfectly. She has improved massively and we could not be happier with the care she receives. The meals are great, the rooms are comforting and, I truly believe this to be a really lovely place. Thank you to the team for looking after my nan so well. You are hugely appreciated.

I want to start by saying thank you to all the staff at Lavender Lodge, you do a fantastic job. From the time you walk in the door, you are welcomed by the staff. My sister-in-law has been here for nearly a year and I can't express enough how thankful I am to know how well she is being cared for in

My mum went into care at Lavender Lodge Care Home in May this year. She was a resident somewhere else before. As a family we cannot believe how our mum has changed for the better since being there. The staff are real family people, kind caring thoughtful. When ever addressing mum (she has dementia)
it's with total respect and never condisending. Any questions asked in any capacity, the response is quick and detailed. Overall very professional.
