Lavender Lodge has been excellent, from the first time we met the Deputy Manager when looking for a care home for our mother. Through the assessment of her needs and support with welcoming her into a new environment, the staff have always been very supportive to both my mum and family. The ongoing care cannot be faulted and all the staff are friendly and approachable.
Thank you for taking the time to review Lavender Lodge Care Home in Farnborough. We would like to thank you for your kind words regarding the care your mother has received since being a member of our loving care community, giving you and your family peace of mind. We understand that moving a loved...
The first thing I have to say is that 99% of the staff are marvellous. The one lift has broken down on several occasions and we are told there is going to be a new one - but when? It now cannot be used with people in it and both staff and residents are suffering from having to use the stairs. It is an old building and really needs replacing or serious updating. The staff do a wonderful job and work hard with what they have. The meals are very good to really good.
Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us, and we are so glad that you are happy with the care being delivered to your wife. Our team really do work hard to look after our residents – from care to housekeeping to the chef and his team - and they will be delighted with your comments.

My husband came to Lavender Lodge on 06/06/22. The staff made my husband feel very welcome. The care my husband received was 100%. The staff were very caring, and understanding and treated my husband with dignity. Looking forward to seeing my husband on my next visit. So would like to thank everyone at Lavender Lodge for making my husband feel welcome.

My late brother had been a resident at Lavender Lodge for some considerable years. He was treated with respect and kindness. The staff have been wonderful in his care. This home is the opposite of the dreadful stories you read about in the newspapers. Before Covid struck, he was taken out for various trips and excursions. I and my sister could not have asked for a better home for him. He was happy and well looked after. We will miss seeing the staff.
Thank you for taking the time to review Lavender Lodge Care Home. It was a great pleasure to have your brother living here at Lavender Lodge. All the staff became friends with your brother and yourselves over the years, and the staff were saddened by your loss. We will miss him and would like to thank you for all the thoughtful kind gifts you have given to us over the years. Best Wishes.
My sister and I booked a visit to see our dad for his birthday. We were welcomed by a lovely new Administrator, who carried out all the required covid checks. We were shown to an area to have a private birthday celebration with our dad. An afternoon tea had been kindly arranged by the staff, with tea and a birthday cake personalised for my dad and balloons and birthday banners. Various staff were very helpful and attentive and we appreciated the effort put in. Whilst we were there, an activities person was entertaining the residents dedicated to St Andrews Day, which was lovely to see and hear as our family including my dad, are Scottish. This was a very enjoyable experience and the new decor is very warm and inviting especially with the Christmas decorations.

My father has been very happy at Lavender Lodge and the staff have been extremely helpful and supportive during these difficult times. My father loves the food which in itself is a miracle as he is extremely fussy.

Lavender Lodge is a homely setting. If I had any pointers, it would be to get rid of the carpet in the lounge and also needs a lick of paint, but for me, the care package they offer is second to none. Great chef too.

Unwilling to work with the family to address concerns regarding relatives wellbeing and care.
Used to be a respected home but following several new owners each seemingly progressively poorer, staff turnover has increased, the good ones are gone and now what appears to be a lot of residents 'leaving' to allow all residents to be accommodated on two floors. Some 20 or so rooms becoming available.
We are seeking alternative accommodation for a family member.
Thank you for your feedback. As you will be aware from previous communications, the concerns that you refer to (raised in June 2020) were forwarded to the relevant regulatory bodies by the home manager. In conjunction with Social Services and the Care Quality Commission, they were investigated and...
