When l first came to look around for my Dad l noticed a sense of kindness and a friendly environment and felt so much warmth!.Making a decision for our loved ones is so difficult but l have never looked back and I'm so glad l made this decision. The well being of the residents is the top of their
priority and the activities and entertainment is brilliant, and the care is amazing and the food is amazing! . They include the family and make you feel part of the home too and they are so approachable! I cannot fault this home and they encourage my Dad's independence and he has an input into the home and they listen to their residents and this is so lovely. I cannot recommend Winchester heights enough! Thank you for everything you do !

All staff could not have been more helpful during my Mums 13 week stay (Dad too ) which included the palliative care required for her final weeks.Thank you to everyone big team effort. Also the genuine thoughts and help for my Dad in the aftermath of my Mums passing everyone was very attentive.

Mum had vascular dementia and lived in The Willows (formerly Reminiscence) for 4 years from May 2021. Living nearby, I visited frequently and almost daily in her last 6 months of life. Her care was outstanding. The concierges were always helpful when I phoned to ask whether Mum was awake and warmly
welcomed me and my family. The Willows staff are unfailingly kind and compassionate. Mum was unaware of time and mainly mobile so she would often join the staff at night; they would hold her hand, chat and bring her sandwiches. In the day she might join a staff meeting happily feeling part of a family. I am hearing-impaired and staff always took care to keep me abreast of changes in Mum's health. In times of crisis, they welcomed and supported me and/or my children when we came in at night to sit with Mum. I cannot speak too highly of the dedication and strong vocation of the staff creating a home for residents with dementia where everyone is respected and precious as an individual.

My mother spent the last month of her life in Winchester Heights Care Home. From the transfer to hospital to her final day, Mum was treated with such dignity and respect. Every member of staff I met were warm, friendly and kind. I cannot fault the care she received and I cannot recommend Winchester

From our first visit to Winchester Heights we were struck by its warm, welcoming family atmosphere. Moving to Winchester from their home was a massive step for my parents, but all the staff have been incredibly supportive and caring, ensuring that what could have been traumatic, was an incredibly pleasant
and stress-free experience. All the staff are friendly and extremely professional. Nothing is too much trouble and the individualised care for residence is excellent. The activities available are superb and my parents are enjoying the delicious and diverse menu. It is such a pleasure to visit Winchester Heights - my parents love their new home, and so do I!

All the staff from Winchester Heights including, nursing, carers, reception, maintenance, catering, activities, everyone has helped my father settle into his new home, from being very nervous and anxious to joining in activities, having bus rides to local places, interacting with all members of staff
and thoroughly enjoying the tasty varied menu.
The team have all taken the time to understand my father's various needs, it's been first class treatment.
This has really helped us as a family to relax more knowing he is being very well looked after and cared for.
We are able to enjoy visiting him, nothing is too much trouble.
So very happy we chose Winchester Heights!

My Godmother came to Winchester Heights in rather a rush as she had become increasingly frail and nervous. The team there were amazing at making her feel at home. We had a long journey from Penzance and could not tell them when we would arrive however the care manager changed his shifts to be there
to greet us and make sure my godmother had all the equipment, medical care etc. she required. The care team were so friendly and reassuring and the management knew the residents as individuals.

We booked my Mum for a respite stay at the Winchester Heights Care Home, she has dementia and is in the Willows. On visiting we can see that she has loved every minute of her stay so far and is enjoying her stay and seems the most relaxed I have seen her in ages. I would recommend this care home and
the atmosphere and lovely caregivers and the team at this care home for their help and caring for my Mum.

Two years ago I took the decision to move from the house I was born in and come to Winchester House. From the moment I first visited I felt a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a sense of community. Since moving in, I know that to be true. I love my room and the way my independence is supported and
encouraged. I do enjoy the activities, particularly art, live music and talks. A lot has changed and not everything is perfect but the staff are wonderful, I'm happy, safe and well cared for.

All staff have been extremely welcoming to my Dad and have helped him to settle in quickly and feel at home. Winchester Heights is a lovely, friendly place to visit. We have been particularly enjoying having a cuppa in the beautiful garden as it starts to get warmer.

Winchester Heights is a lovely place to live. My mum settled in extremely well and has had a new lease of life these past four months. Absolutely all the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive and work together to create a warm, happy atmosphere. The reception team are very welcoming and can
help you with anything! The activities staff do a great job of organising a wide range of fun sessions and interesting outings in the minibus. Mum has tried lots of new things, made new friends and had a laugh in the process. The food is very good, nicely presented and with lots of choice and flexibility. Care staff are kind, respectful and thoughtful, remembering the little things in life. The management team are also very visible. A couple of issues I raised were dealt with quickly, efficiently and with positive outcomes. In short, Mum is happy so are we. I couldn’t have chosen better and feel as much a part of the place as she does!
Oh and the coffee and cake is very good!

Our experience with Winchester Heights extended for four months, during which we were able to observe the quality of the care and nursing at close quarters and to get to know many or most of the staff and the management team. We were impressed with every aspect of the operation, with the calm dedication

The moment you walk through the doors you can sense the lovely atmosphere here. My mother moved to Winchester Heights in June 2023 at the age of 96 and we've been extremely happy with her care. The care staff are kind, patient and positive even under the most difficult of situations. Mum is lucky enough
to have a room with doors opening onto the pretty garden and a lovely view from her chair. The activities team do a magnificent job of offering an array of things to do: exercise classes; flower arranging; bingo; art classes; pamper sessions; quizzes - even a making mojito session! Entertainers visit regularly to sing or give concerts and there are regular trips out. Communication with relatives is excellent and management is always willing to listen, take on ideas or iron out problems. The ladies on the reception desk are wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend this home.

Our relative resided at Winchester Heights for a brief period but during that time he could not have had more care and attention from the wonderful staff.
All members of staff bent over backwards for him and the family during a difficult time, just wonderful.
