We are always greeted by staff, mostly with a smile. We do think more stimulation could be given to the more agitated ladies in the lounge, as when we sit with them, they chat with us. The activities ladies do an excellent job but can't be everywhere.

My mother in law has only been a resident in Clayton Manor for six weeks, but I have seen during this short time how well she is being cared for by all the staff members there. I have found everyone kind, friendly and most helpful. The entertainment is varied, and I can see is much enjoyed by all who
attend. Also, we can enjoy the comfort of the other rooms to sit in, and the gardens and scenery outside, it is so beautiful. I have no worries at all about leaving my mum in law in the care of such wonderful, caring staff at Clayton Manor.

I find Clayton Manor Care Home unbelievable, nothing is too much trouble. Always helpful, cheerful, can not thank them enough for the care that they give to my mother. The staff are truly dedicated and treat my mother and myself with the utmost respect. The activities are always varied to stimulate
the resident's. I have visited other care homes in the vicinity over the last few years and nothing comes close to Clayton Manor Care Home. My mother who is 99 years young was even taken out with myself on a rick shaw ride thanks to the care home. Really enjoyed that. Like I say nothing is too much trouble. A really superb care home. It's a pleasure to visit knowing mother is having truly first-class care. Well done to all.

Really pleased. My grandma is very happy, the place suits her very well. Everyone we met was really lovely and all of the residents I've spoken to love it. It has really taken the pressure off mum and dad knowing she is safe.

Its so great to see my mother in law in a safe environment. The staff are exceptional. They have made us all feel that the decision to put mum into care has been the best decision for her health and wellbeing. Clayton Manor have made my mother in law and the family feel well looked after. There are
always plenty of staff about to help my mother in law and answer any of the families questions. My mother in law is enjoying the activites that happen each day. We were all suprised when she settled in so quickly. The staff made Clayton Manor special.

The minute we walked in our family was welcomed all the staff we were introduced to were very friendly and professional. They understood that the decision to move mum to a care home was difficult. Mum has now been at Clayton Manor for 6 weeks and has settled very well. She appreciates being cared for
and is enjoying the attention she gets from all the staff. We thought she had forgotten how to smile, so its great to see her happy again. Mum is definitely thriving and we all appreciate the empathy, care and fun she is having from the team.

My mum has been at Clayton Manor for over 2 years. She has very complex needs which can be challenging, however, she has been looked after so well and I feel very reassured that she is completely safe in their care. The nursing staff are warm and caring and they are extremely proactive when dealing
with any health issues and I am kept well informed. The carers are friendly and always greet everyone with a smile. Yes, there are minor irritations at times, and nowhere is perfect, but when it comes to the important aspects of care, I would highly recommend Clayton Manor. It is a happy, safe, caring environment where the welfare of the residents is always a top priority.

Found the care home to be a home from home. Comfortable room and residents are known by their names and not room numbers. Friendly and caring staff who take time with the residents. A varied menu and good portions. I recommend this home. From the manager to the folk who do the cleaning, it's a well-run
home. Get yourselves on the waiting list.

Lovely care home. Clean, comfortable, friendly atmosphere. All staff in all departments do their utmost to fulfil your needs. There is activities available everyday, lots of entertainment to suit everyone. There is a choice of food to suit any diet or request. The outside area is comfortable, with lovely
outside furniture where you can relax and enjoy the sun shine. The garden room is also a lovely place to sit and relax or chat to friends or family. My mum is a resident at Clayton Manor Care Home and I wouldn't wish for her to be anywhere else. Thank you all at Clayton Manor.

Mum's care has been very good, the staff are very caring and treat my mum with kindness and dignity.
The nursing staff are excellent and pro active when mum has been unwell and getting her reviewed by the medical team quickly and subsequent hospital admission.
My only gripe is sometimes things I have
requested to be done for mum doesn't always transpire but we are working on this and it looks to be improving.
My only other concern is the cleanliness of the room, the bedside table is dirty, there is very old dried food residue which has been there for some time on the sides of the table where there are pieces of wood to stop things falling off. I clean it myself with disinfectant wipes, which I leave in the room, but it needs a scrubbing brush if I'm honest.
Other than these minor issues, I couldn't be happier that my mum is receiving good dignified care in an excellent nursing home which meets her complex medical needs, with caring staff and an excellent manager.

Right from the start, Clayton Manor Care Home gave a very warm and friendly welcome.
A lovely spacious reception with a coffee bar area.
The manager and all the staff greeted us with smiles and hello's.
We were shown round and all our questions were answered. We were then taken into the manager
who immediately made us feel welcome and her assurance of ensuring our relative would be treated with respect, care and dignity put us at our ease.
So far everything we were told has certainly been true. They are doing everything they can to ensure our relative is being really cared for in every way.

No care home is perfect, however the efforts of all the staff at Clayton Manor to keep our dad safe, treated and us informed during a recent spell of infection in the care home, were truly above and beyond.
In our experience, this care home has a very good atmosphere of friendliness and care and every
effort is made to keep residents entertained, safe and as healthy as is possible given their frailty and age.

My dad has been living at Clayton Manor for over 2 years now.
All the staff go out of their way to make sure the residents are happy and well looked after. They are so kind and get to know all the residents well.
Care standards are high, and I am closely involved in dad's care. The nursing team is
superb and I'm not exaggerating when I say their quick actions have saved my dad's life on more than one occasion. I know my dad is in good hands with them. They work very closely with the GP and that continuity is very beneficial to my dad, who has quite complex medical needs.
Dad enjoys the entertainment, especially when they have singers or musicians or the children from the local nursery.
We always receive a warm welcome from the friendly reception/admin team and any queries I have are answered quickly. The manager is excellent - really approachable for residents and relatives, her door is always open and she provides fantastic support to us all, always with good humour.

I am a qualified nurse with 21 years of experience in the NHS and 22 years of experience in the healthcare sector. I have a special interest in dementia care, and worked as a national dementia lead, before coming to manage Clayton Manor in 2020. Prior to this role, I managed an outstanding-rated home for 9 years. I love my job and work hard to ensure that people living and working here are happy, and safe and have the best we can possibly offer. I also ensure that relatives are informed of what is happening at all times. We operate in a truly inclusive way so everyone feels welcome and supported. I am very proud to say that I work at Clayton Manor. It is the most homely, caring and exceptional place I have worked in.
