Alice Court Care Home

Michelle is our General Manager at Alice Court. She is a Registered Nurse with over 9 years of experience working in the NHS. Michelle has spent her nursing career working in various health settings in both Nursing Homes and the community, where she found her passion for Health and Social Care.

Michelle holds a Level 6 in Leadership and Management and has been awarded a Chartered Manager Award with the Chartered Management Institute.

Growing up in Scotland, Michelle began her career as a home helper when she was 16. Since moving to Brighton in 2002, Michelle has steadily progressed her career into management roles due to her strong leadership skills, person-centred approach and her commitment to quality, compassionate care.

Gemma is our Customer Liaison Manager for Alice Court.

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, developing mobility aids for wheelchair and scooter users, Gemma brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Holding a Business and Marketing degree and a level 4 Management qualification, Gemma is excited to build on her community ties and show our wonderful new home, Alice Court, to the beautiful seaside town of Eastbourne.

Gemma looks forward to spending time getting to know you, your family and all the things that you hold dear so that we can ensure that we put in place the care that you need, whilst feeling supported every step of the way.

Charlotte is our Deputy Manager at Alice Court. She has worked in care for over 7 years, gaining extensive knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence and providing compassionate person-centred care.

Passionate about ensuring dignity and respect for every individual she supports, Charlotte takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Vicky is our Care Home Administrator at Alice Court. She has lived in Sussex all her life. She started her career in Hospitality, starting as a part-time receptionist and working her way up to Operations Manager for a large hotel chain.

In 2019, Vicky accepted a new role working in the healthcare sector as an Admin Manager and soon realised that her love of customer service was perfectly suited to supporting those in care, their families and the staff providing support.

Vicky prides herself on being friendly, approachable and always having a smile on her face. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

Sarah is the Activities & Well-Being Coordinator at Alice Court. She has over 5 years of experience working within the care sector, providing residents with engaging and imaginative activities.

From outings to cultural days, Sarah is extremely passionate about the well-being of our residents and is looking forward to creating a warm and inviting community at Alice Court.

Kieran, our Head Chef at Alice Court. With over 20 years of experience in the kitchen environment, Kieran maintains very high standards, which are reflected in the work he produces.

Whether a 4-Star award-winning hotel, or a fast-paced Australasian style brunch spot, Kieran has always thrived to showcase local, seasonal produce.

Kieran strives to satisfy both the eyes and palate in equal measure and brings high-quality food to Alice Court Care Home.

George is our Maintenance Manager at Alice Court Care Home. He has worked in maintenance and electrical roles since leaving school, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of systems and environments.

Whether it's fixing faults, keeping things running smoothly, or solving problems under pressure, he takes pride in doing the job right and keeping standards high.

Outside of work, he is a proud Dad to his young son, Frank and a big sports fan, whether watching or getting involved.
