Mum was deteriorating at home slowly and was put in a difficult position after a fire. Adelaide expedited a fast transition into respite care and mum and all our family are delighted to see her thriving. All of the staff are excellent in their roles. Mum has fully embraced the care she now receives and the family are reassured that she is safe and being very well taken care of. We all feel so lucky to have been added to the family at Adelaide

Ive been to the Adelaide Care Home numerous times now to see my friend Kit. She has only been there a short time but each time I visit I find the home to be very clean and tidy. The staff are always attentive to Kit & myself and on top of all very friendly. They make a real effort to do anything that is asked. My visit today 'Sobu' spoke to me numerous times and remembered my name which I told her when I arrived, after all the people she must see I found this admirable. Such a lovely lady

My siblings and I are so happy with the care mum receives at Adelaide. The staff are always friendly and are so kind and caring with mum. If mum needs any medical attention, it is always spotted, the necessary action taken and one of us is always informed. We are so relieved that Mum now lives somewhere where she is properly and kindly looked after. Also, a big thumbs up to all the activities and entertainment that is organised.

If you are reading this review, chances are you have a loved one that needs residential care. You would definitely not go wrong, if you choose Adelaide. The care is outstanding and the staff listen, which is so important. There is always a warm welcome, whatever time you visit. From the management, the activity team, care staff, both day and night and the cleaners, they make my dad's days happy, caring for his needs. That is all you can wish for, when you have to make that difficult decision and with the care at Adelaide, I know I have chosen well.

Mum has only been in the home for 3 weeks, and the change in her is amazing. She has put on weight and is showing interest in things around her. The care has been excellent, and we are always made welcome when we visit. We have nothing but praise for all the staff.

When my brother passed away, it was important that my brother attended his funeral. This care home went above and beyond in making sure, mum was there, along with the carer my mum loves and adores, they sorted everything out so that I didn't have to worry. I've always been extremely happy with this home, but doing this for mum, I just can't put into words.

Over the past month, I have been very impressed with the care my mum continues to receive. She is extremely well looked after and the staff consistently provide a high standard of support. Everyone is friendly, approachable and nothing ever seems too much trouble.

The range of activities is particularly enjoyable and keeps residents engaged and stimulated. There is always something going on, from painting and bingo to regular visits from singers, local nurseries and exercise classes. It's clear that a lot of thought goes into making each day varied and meaningful.

What really stands out is how the team go above and beyond. They take the time to know every resident personally and are always warm and welcoming to family members. Communication is excellent; we are regularly updated not only during visits but also through phone calls, which provides great reassurance.

Overall, the genuine care and kindness mean so much to us and give us real peace of mind.

My Great Aunt has been living here for almost a year and she couldn't be happier.

She has dementia and could no longer be cared for at home so we were extremely worried and scared about placing her in a home after all the horrible stories you hear.

But hand on heart this Care Home is amazing!!

The staff are absolutely wonderful and are always going above and beyond for all of their residents. Everyone is super friendly and always willing to help with whatever is needed.

Residents are kept busy with all different activities and their family members are always welcome.

My aunt's dementia will never get better but we know she is safe and looked after. She has started to put weight back on because she is eating and she isn't lonely anymore as she always has people around her.

If you need somewhere for a loved one this is definitely the place. We looked at 4 others and so glad we chose here.

From the beginning, I was impressed with how the staff took care to interact with my friend. Even when it was difficult to help her, the carers pressed on, gently, to encourage her to drink and to keep her clean. The nurses were very engaged and took the trouble to frequently explain how my friend was. The office staff were helpful, and the reception staff always gave a warm welcome and were ready to answer any questions.

My mum came to Adelaide when she was quite unwell and very confused. The staff were very attentive and looked after her well. She gradually improved and now feels at home. She can be very obstinate and awkward but the staff deal with her moods very well. I am very content with the care she receives.
