We couldn't be happier with the care provided to mum at Queen Elizabeth Home.
Her transition to residential living was handled with care and sensitivity and she has adapted better than we could have hoped, thanks to the wonderful staff and management here.
There is a real sense of community.
among staff, residents and relatives. We are 100% happy that mum is in the best possible place and thankful that she is in such a warm and caring environment

My mum has been a resident at this home now for a few months, she lived with me for a while after my Dad passed, but had been recommended this home by a friend and after a visit I immediately knew this was the right choice for her. The manager is lovely and all the staff are very caring and
attentive. There are no agency staff which I think is important as they get used to the happy faces and the caring people who work there. She has settled in really well with the other residents and because she has memory issues she has been able to find her way around quite well as it's not too big for her. When you walk in there is a lovely cosy, warm Ambience and her room always looks clean and tidy. I couldn't ask for anything more knowing that my mum is content, happy, safe and has put on weight. I would definitely recommend this home without any hesitation and I am so pleased there was a room available when I visited.

Mum has been a resident here for the past 17 months. It took her a while to settle as she had lived independently for many years.
We are so happy we chose this beautiful caring home for her. The carers are like family to us now and have been there many years which is always a good sign. Mum
has really settled in now and has made many friends. The food is wonderful.. I have tried it myself many times when the home provide special family events. Mum loves the food too and she has put on weight which is good as living on her own she didn't really cook much.
In mums words she says she is treated like a queen there. I think she is the hairdressers best customer. It's very reassuring to us that mum is being so well looked after and is so happy there.

Mum has been at Queen Elizabeth House for a few months now and we as a family are very happy with the care and attention she has received. All staff and management have been amazing during this settling in period. We know she is in a safe place and being well cared for at all times. We are kept
informed and involved in any changes in her care. Whatever time we visit the residents and staff seem well happy which makes for a lovely atmosphere. I certainly would recommend this home.

My Mother has been residing at QE House since August 2025 and is still a happy resident.
The staff bend over backwards to accommodate my Mother as she can be quite a fusspot! Nothing seems to be too much trouble and they take great care into making sure the residents are comfortable/ health
checked , regularly.
They have parties for residents birthdays so all can enjoy-often with entertainment laid on (and beautiful cakes!)
I wouid thoroughly recommend this wonderful care home .

My mum became resident at Queen Elizabeth House from summer 2025, and still happily resides there. From the day she was admitted, we as a very close family have had 100% faith in how well she was cared for. With a long nursing background, and being very fussy about her care, I wanted to know she
was in the best place. Within a very short time my fears were allayed, and I could relax knowing she was in the care of wonderful and caring staff at all times. They are all so very kind and extremely professional. I'm there as lot, they never make me feel I'm in the way. They listen if I have concerns, and act on my suggestions as soon as I have voiced them. I watch them with other residents, they are kind and so caring with all of them, even the more difficult residents, they are just so lovely.
I wouldn't want my mum to be anywhere else now, we have great faith all is well as long as she is there.

My Mum has been in Queen Elizabeth Care Home for around 7 months and she loves being there. She feels very settled and secure and frequently says she is the happiest she has been in years. I can visit virtually any time that suits me, I have always been made welcome and any concerns are discussed
promptly with me. I can't speak highly enough of this care home, the staff are amazing, the care is second to none and we are so pleased we found it. We looked at 7 other homes before we chose this one and this care home is far and away the best we looked at. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Queen Elizabeth Care Home, I just wish we had found it years ago!

Great care home, my Grandad was very well looked after by friendly staff who couldn't do enough for him. The home was very clean, the food of a high standard and there are plenty of opportunities for the residents to socialise between meal times, at organised events or in the beautiful garden
outside.

My father has been so well looked after at Queen Elizabeth House that his physical health has vastly improved. Every member of staff that I have interacted with has been kind, helpful, professional and genuinely interested in caring for their elderly residents. My father has enjoyed the daily chats
and jokes with staff. I can't thank the staff enough for the care he has had while with them.

My mother has been a resident at Queen Elizabeth House for 3 months now, and I have been incredibly impressed with the care she receives, and the professional approach of the entire team. It was such a stressful thing making the decision to move Mum into residential care, but I feel that the staff
made the experience so much easier, took care of us all, whilst providing amazing personal care for Mum.
My mother has dementia which has significant challenges, but the greatest asset that the home has is the fantastic nursing and support team who know her now so well, and I feel all of her needs are taken care of. The level of communication is excellent, I feel I am kept fully informed of any changes in Mum's care, and am involved at all levels of decision-making.
It feels like another home for us too. The recent summer barbecue being a case in point, I would highly recommend.

My mother has been a resident since March 2023 and I cannot recommend the care home enough. My mother is now more engaging, smiling, and generally just back to being herself from some very traumatic experiences in hospital prior to becoming a resident. All the staff are lovely, caring, and genuinely
look out for each of the residents. There are plenty of activities going on to the point my mother preferred to stay in and enjoy another resident's birthday celebration rather than come out with us to lunch!
The medical facilities are also excellent - we no longer have to worry about medication being taken or on time and my mother can't speak more highly of the doctor that serves all the residents in the home.
It has a lovely atmosphere, we are always made welcome, and I enjoy visiting.

My mother has recently moved in the Queen Elizabeth House and we have so far found the home to be first-class. It is exceptionally clean, and meals are of a high standard. They offer a good range of activities and the staff are very attentive to the residents and provide a very professional level of
service, they are encouraging, and supportive and enable residents to keep a level of independence, which is important. The gardens are beautifully kept and overall a very homely feeling at Queen Elizabeth House. We are thankful that our mother is a resident at this home.

The home continues to provide top-class care for my mother and where possible keeps her involved in all activities run by the home. We cannot fault the staff, they are always courteous, patient and helpful in all matters. I would highly recommend Queen Elizabeth House to anyone thinking of placing
someone there.

My Dad has been resident in Queen Elizabeth House for over a year. It has been a difficult time for staff, residents and relatives due to COVID and lockdowns. Despite this, Dad has consistently been very positive about the staff and how they help and respond to him. He is more than able to express
his needs and preferences and the staff always try to do what he wishes. Staff are very good about letting us know if there are any medical issues and get the GP involved. Dad is an independent character who has always worked for himself. So the fact that he is so happy at Queen Elizabeth House is a testament to the caring and person-centred approach of the staff and management.
