My mother originally entered the care home for a two-month respite stay, but she settled in so well and enjoyed herself so much that we soon applied for her to become a permanent resident. She went on to live there for eight happy and fulfilling years. The staff were consistently friendly, caring, and genuinely dedicated to her wellbeing, always treating her with kindness and respect. She made many friends and truly felt part of a warm, welcoming community. She also loved the wide range of activities on offer, especially bingo, painting sessions, and gentle exercise classes that kept her engaged and active. The care home organised wonderful celebrations for occasions such as Diwali and Christmas, often inviting external singers and encouraging families to join in, which made those moments even more special. It is a first-class care home that provided exceptional care, companionship, and joy, and I would highly recommend it without hesitation.

The quality of the care itself was outstanding. My grandad's comfort and dignity were clearly the top priority for everyone. The care was meticulous, professional, and delivered with a tender touch. We were constantly updated, and every question or concern we had was addressed immediately and thoroughly. Knowing that he was in such capable and loving hands allowed us to focus on simply being with him, which is the greatest gift a family can receive at that time. We are eternally grateful to Sancroft for providing a loving, peaceful, and respectful environment for my grandad's last days. If you are looking for a care home where the staff genuinely care and provide the highest level of compassionate support, I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Mum has been coming to Sancroft for many years and always looks forward to her time there. Following her recent stay, mum again had a wonderful time and praises the staff and residents for being so friendly and welcoming. She feels at home there in a lovely room, enjoying great food and even better company. Knowing mum is so well looked after at Sancroft gives me the peace of mind to enjoy my break without worrying about her. A big thank you to Dorota and all the staff who make Sancroft such a wonderful home for all residents and service users.

I have just come back from my latest stay at Sancroft and despite going there for many years, I am still overwhelmed by how welcoming the manager and staff are, it genuinely feels like a home from home! My room is always comfortable, the food is great and I really enjoy the activities. Most importantly, all the staff are kind, accommodating, attentive and so friendly.. I could not imagine staying anywhere else. I hope to continue coming to Sancroft for many years.

My aunt has been a resident at Sancroft for many years now . She has very personalised, considerate and consistent care and despite her increasing frailty she is thriving. Despite having a very limited ability to communicate the staff have adapted in how they communicate with her and she responds very positively with smiles when she recognises familiar voices. She is very settled here and I am very happy that she is able to remain a resident despite her increasing care needs.

My aunty has spent the last four years as a resident of Sancroft Hall. The word excellent, I feel, does not fully describe how well she was cared for by all the staff who work there. She was so well cared for and happy, taking part in all activities that were provided. The whole of the staff worked hard and conscientiously to provde a happy and caring enviroment for their residents, always with a smile. I cannot thank them enough. also, I would like to thank all the staff for their help and care provided for myself and my aunts niece during my aunts recent passing. We were also taken excellant care of by them and provided for over and above what could be expected. Again always with a smile and a willingness to help. The most beautiful group of people I have ever met. Thank you all so much.

I'm so happy that my mum is being resubmitted back into Sancroft after being there for nearly over two weeks for respite. The staff and service provided by Sancroft is amazing, the cannot do enough for you. They are helpful in any form or matter. The place is very clean and feels like home. It makes a huge difference when you see your family member is happy and smiling when visiting. All staff are so accommodating and helpful, as well carers who look after elderly within each unit. Would highly recommend this care home.

Very good care home with attentive staff that look after the residents very well. The care staff & management are easily approachable and always available to help. The recent increase in fees is detrimental & in my opinion over & above market expectations. If the home can keep the fees under control then this would be an excellent care home.

My mum has been a resident at this home for 4 years. I cannot recommend this care home enough. The care staff are outstanding and take great care of my mum. She enjoys the activities provided and meals very much. They provide a safe and happy environment for my mum and the other residents.

I am very happy with the home. The staff place and everything else is very good, very polite, smiling all the time and also very helpful. My sister has been in their home now for 3 years an d she is very happy. Lots of different activities too. I am glad she is one of the residents.

Good rooms with an en suite - clean environment. Happy staff, activities, common rooms kept clean and kept spotless, atmosphere is calm. Downside is are limited numbers of outdoor activities for residents while the home provides indoor activities. It would be nice for residents to enjoy outdoor opportunities.

I'm very pleased with the service provided at sancroft. They've made my mother very welcome and she has settled well. It is very comforting to know that she is in a caring and safe environment as she has reached the stage with dementia that she can no longer live alone. The staff are welcoming and very helpful, I feel confident in their ability to provide the ongoing care needed.

My father in law was at Sancroft for 8 years. He originally went there for 2 weeks respite. He liked it there so much he asked if he could move there. We put his name on the waiting list and were lucky to get a place a few months later. He settled in very quickly and took an active part in all the activities and trips that are arranged at Sancroft. He was looked after very well and thought of some of the staff like family. For us, as a family, it was a great relief to know that he was happy and all his needs were being taken care of 24/7. Sancroft provide fantastic care to their residents and know them well. The staff undergo dementia training with info evenings offered to the families to allow us to have more understanding of what our loved one is going through. I can highly recommend Sancroft to those looking for care for their loved ones.

The carers are lovely, always helpful, professional and welcoming when I visit. The cleanliness is outstanding and I am happy that my mum is in a safe environment. I would highly recommend.

I am so pleased that my sister is a resident of this facility. The care and attention she receives is of a high standard and I would like to commend the staff, especially the Manager, who took time from her busy schedule to meet with me and discuss the level of care given to my sister. It's clear that this facility understands the needs of the service users, concerns of family members and provides person centered care with dignity and respect, a quality that's paramount for the well being of my sister and reassuring for our family. The unit is well maintained and organised and having previously worked and managed similar facilities, I can attest that this unit is well managed. Reception and staff are welcoming and took time to respond positively to any queries and concerns I had. The building is clean and hygienic, again a testament and dedication of staff responsible for the cleanliness of the unit. Appreciation to management and staff for the excellent care given to my sister.
