View Full Details of Lansglade HouseAs soon as we walked into Lansglade House we knew it was the place for our mum. We were welcomed in and everyone was kind and helpful. The care shown my mum is beyond what we could have hoped for and we are very grateful for this. After a visit we can happily leave her knowing she is in a place of safety with care staff she loves. Thanks to Jackie and her wonderful team for making mum's final years comfortable happy.
My mother has only been a resident for two months but the management and staff of Lansglade have been wonderful during ths difficult transition phase from independent living to being a resident with dementia. We are very pleased with our mothers improvement since arriving and can't thank the staff enough for their cheery caring demeanours and hard work .
Our first impression of Lansglade House was that the manager was so friendly and professional and soon put us at ease. Although our mum was not keen to move, she was not able to continue to live independently. She has a lovely room and we have been able to bring her own things in to make it more like home. Lansglade is clean and welcoming and the staff do really get to know the residents and treat them with compassion. Mum seems much more settled now and is full of praise for the care team and always telling us how hard they work.
Lansglade provided excellent care to our father and to ourselves when we visited. All the staff were professional and caring. As his health and general condition declined his needs were met with kindness and consideration. Thank you everyone, you were great and helped us through a difficult time. We greatly appreciate your care.
My first impression of Lansglade House on my initial visit was impressive it was spotlessly clean and the residents all seemed happy and the staff were attentive and compassionate. The manager was extremely helpful and I left feeling very positive, My mother has been at Lansglade house now for only two months but already we have noticed a huge improvement in her mental wellbeing. She is a lot happier and engaging with her family and fellow residents. My overall rating for Lansglade house would be a big 10/10.
My dad was treated with the utmost compassion and dignity in his last days at the home. The care given was amazing, and visiting night or day was given without question. The staff were so accommodating and very professional in there care, not only for my dad but for all the residents in the home. I cannot thank Lansglade enough from all my family I would recommend Lansglade house to anyone looking for a caring home.
My father came to Langsglade House for a period of respite. The reason we choose this care home was for the ethos of care, treating his as a person, getting to know him and making him feel as though he could belong there and amongst caring staff and friends. My dad is a difficult person, but this did not phase the wonderful manager and caring staff. I hope one day he will return for good.
The acid test when choosing a care home, is when you get a whiff of stale pee on entering. Not the care home extremely clean, residents, well cared for.
Having just taken part in a fantastic 'Victory in Europe' party at the care home, I feel I must write to commend the entire staff on their professionalism and enthusiasm at yet another great event. Having recently noted the naturally declining health of my elderly father in law and his increasing desire to stay in bed, it was just wonderful to see him up and about singing and tapping along to the songs. He never stopped smiling and laughing with the professional singer and the 'mad cap' dancing staff in their fancy dress. The many events that the home offers clearly unites the residents and it is evident that they have a genuine bond with their carers. Led by the super enthusiastic management team and supported by the completely balmy chef, I have nothing but praise for the whole team, my heartfelt thanks to you all.
Mum has been at Lansglade House for 9 months now and they've helped her (and us) in so many ways through her dementia journey. It's not been an easy journey for anyone but the staff are so kind and caring.
On walking through the front door the home felt alive and vibrant. Welcoming, like walking into my home. The whole place was clean and well maintained with happy and communicative staff who engaged with the residents and responded quickly to any alarms. Mum was found to have infections on day one which were treated before we knew of it. They help and support mum brilliantly.
