Langsglade is a very special place indeed. My father in law has been a resident since late December and the care and kindness that he receives is absolutely outstanding. As well

as the daily routine of wonderful care, the home goes beyond the call and organises so many special events for residents and family and friends. Recently we have had my in-laws' 70th wedding anniversary celebrations, 'going to the seaside' (the staff brought the seaside to the residents, including sand!!) and the wonderful summer party. Each occasion is a real celebration of life and everyone loves them. The leadership is first class and the staff work together as a tight team and are simply outstanding. Thank you to everyone.

The carers are absolutely brilliant. They look after the residents very well, making sure they are safe and comfortable but always ensuring their dignity is intact. The home is Clean, light and airy.
The events organised to keep the residents engaged and mentally healthy are fantastic with everyone involved.

I am happy that my mother is looked after on such a great environment.

I can speak very highly of Lansglade House. From the beginning, the staff made my cousin and the family feel welcomed, supported and genuinely cared for. What stands out most is the kindness and compassion shown by everyone, particularly the management team of Jackie and Mandip who go above and beyond to ensure every resident is treated as an individual with dignity, respect and warmth. The staff give their full attention and time, never making anyone feel rushed or overlooked. The concern for each resident's well being is sincere and heartfelt and it is clear that they truly care about the happiness and comfort of those in their care. This gives families enormous peace of mind when a relative is frail and needing individual support.

My dad has been at Lansglade House for a few weeks now. He has settled in to the homely environment very well. The staff are lovely, very attentive, friendly and seems that they genuinely care. He enjoys the food and has a lovely room. I attended one of their celebration parties recently which was great fun and delicious food.

Visited mum-in-law today. She was clean and tidy and was sharing tea and biscuits and I was happy to see she had another drink on her table as well. She seemed to be a little brighter than on our last visit and we did manage a little chat. The staff - Jackie, Mandip and team are lovely. I feel lucky that we found somewhere that mum is so well cared for. We are very grateful and appreciative of the level of care she receives.

A really good home, the care home staff are kind caring and compassionate .
Mum has settled in to the home well and tells us all the staff are kind. She has a closer relationship with two or three of the staff who have made a really good effort to get to know mum very well.
The senior staff are also very supportive to me mums daughter and are also reassuring when I worry about my mum.

We can visit anytime and I even spent Christmas Day at the home with mum and enjoyed the dinner with the residents .

My Dad became a resident of Lansglade in December, since arriving he has received the most amazing care, all of the staff have been kind and welcoming, not only to Dad but to all of our family.
Lansglade does not feel so much like an institution, it feels like more a home, always cosy with a friendly and calm atmosphere. My Dad enjoys the home cooked meals, there is nothing 'bought in' here, everything is nutritious and freshly prepared. The whole place is spotlessly clean.
It is never easy when a family member moves into permanent residential care, but I feel I've made absolutely the right decision for my Dad.

Thank you Lansglade Staff for all that you do, it is appreciated!

Finding a suitable care home for a loved one is a very difficult decision. Lansglade House appeared to be the answer for my relative. At first all was well but as my relative's dementia slowly developed the staff at Lansglade House found them challenging. My relative's condition was not helped by the loss of their spectacles (which were named) and which came to light only after new ones had been purchased, also one hearing aid went missing never to be seen again.
Eventually after being at Lansglade House for six months my relative was given a months notice to leave.

It is unfortunate that Lansglade House was not suitable for my relative.

As soon as we walked into Lansglade House we knew it was the place for our mum. We were welcomed in and everyone was kind and helpful. The care shown my mum is beyond what we could have hoped for and we are very grateful for this. After a visit we can happily leave her knowing she is in a place of safety with care staff she loves. Thanks to Jackie and her wonderful team for making mum's final years comfortable happy.

My mother has only been a resident for two months but the management and staff of Lansglade have been wonderful during ths difficult transition phase from independent living to being a resident with dementia. We are very pleased with our mothers improvement since arriving and can't thank the staff enough for their cheery caring demeanours and hard work .

Our first impression of Lansglade House was that the manager was so friendly and professional and soon put us at ease. Although our mum was not keen to move, she was not able to continue to live independently. She has a lovely room and we have been able to bring her own things in to make it more like home.

Lansglade is clean and welcoming and the staff do really get to know the residents and treat them with compassion. Mum seems much more settled now and is full of praise for the care team and always telling us how hard they work.

Lansglade provided excellent care to our father and to ourselves when we visited. All the staff were professional and caring. As his health and general condition declined his needs were met with kindness and consideration. Thank you everyone, you were great and helped us through a difficult time. We greatly appreciate your care.

My first impression of Lansglade House on my initial visit was impressive it was spotlessly clean and the residents all seemed happy and the staff were attentive and compassionate. The manager was extremely helpful and I left feeling very positive, My mother has been at Lansglade house now for only two months but already we have noticed a huge improvement in her mental wellbeing. She is a lot happier and engaging with her family and fellow residents.

My overall rating for Lansglade house would be a big 10/10.

My father came to Langsglade House for a period of respite. The reason we choose this care home was for the ethos of care, treating his as a person, getting to know him and making him feel as though he could belong there and amongst caring staff and friends. My dad is a difficult person, but this did not phase the wonderful manager and caring staff. I hope one day he will return for good.

Having just taken part in a fantastic 'Victory in Europe' party at the care home, I feel I must write to commend the entire staff on their professionalism and enthusiasm at yet another great event. Having recently noted the naturally declining health of my elderly father in law and his increasing desire to stay in bed, it was just wonderful to see him up and about singing and tapping along to the songs. He never stopped smiling and laughing with the professional singer and the 'mad cap' dancing staff in their fancy dress. The many events that the home offers clearly unites the residents and it is evident that they have a genuine bond with their carers. Led by the super enthusiastic management team and supported by the completely balmy chef, I have nothing but praise for the whole team, my heartfelt thanks to you all.
