A really good home, the care home staff are kind caring and compassionate .
Mum has settled in to the home well and tells us all the staff are kind. She has a closer relationship with two or three of the staff who have made a really good effort to get to know mum very well.
The senior staff are also
very supportive to me mums daughter and are also reassuring when I worry about my mum.
We can visit anytime and I even spent Christmas Day at the home with mum and enjoyed the dinner with the residents .

Well what an amazing home.my dad went to annadale lodge for the last few weeks of his life and the minute we walked through the door we felt immediately at ease we were welcomed with a smile by georgina the manager and millie the events manager. This was a very difficult situation for our family but
was made alot easier by this wonderful team . Mary the nurse and all the team took great care of dad often getting a smile out of him and a wave, and nothing was to much trouble. Dad didn't want to go into a home but mum was struggling caring for him,but he liked it here and was made very comfortable. Having worked in care myself in a very good carehome I new this home was brilliant. They looked after us also and on dad's last day we spent all day at the home and we plied with hot drinks and offered and evening meal. I will bexable to cherish dad's last day thanks to their support. 100% care in my eyes tops marks xx

I cannot emphasise how well my dad was take care of during his few months at Annandale Lodge. We first contacted them after dads condition deteriorated and was taken to hospital. I contacted the manager and within days, she had seen dad in hospital, reviewed his condition and arranged transfer to
the nursing home. We chose Annandale because the facility is very homely and friendly. All the staff are extremely friendly and polite, and there was always somebody that could give an update on dads condition. They always treated dad with care and compassion, and soon worked out what did and didn't work for him. If you want your loved one to be taken care of, I would without any hesitation recommend Annandale Lodge.

We cannot thank this care home enough for the compassion, kindness, and dignity they showed my dad during the last five weeks of his life while he was receiving palliative care. From the very first day, every member of staff treated him - and us as a family - with genuine warmth, respect, and understanding.
The
care my dad received was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable, peaceful, and never alone. Their professionalism was matched by their kindness; nothing ever felt rushed, and no request was ever too much trouble. They took the time to get to know my dad as a person, not just a patient, and that meant more to us than words can express.
During an incredibly difficult time, the support they gave our family was invaluable. We were kept informed, reassured, and shown endless compassion. Knowing he was in such safe, caring hands brought us comfort when we needed it most.
We will always be deeply grateful for the love and dignity shown to my dad

My Dad became a resident of Lansglade in December, since arriving he has received the most amazing care, all of the staff have been kind and welcoming, not only to Dad but to all of our family.
Lansglade does not feel so much like an institution, it feels like more a home, always cosy with a friendly
and calm atmosphere. My Dad enjoys the home cooked meals, there is nothing 'bought in' here, everything is nutritious and freshly prepared. The whole place is spotlessly clean.
It is never easy when a family member moves into permanent residential care, but I feel I've made absolutely the right decision for my Dad.
Thank you Lansglade Staff for all that you do, it is appreciated!

My mother was admitted to Annadale Lodge to receive end-of-life care. As upsetting as this was, she was looked after with great kindness, dignity and expertise.
Everyone at Annadale took an interest and made time to ensure we had everything we needed, from management to catering staff. I am most grateful
to the whole team.

I would highly recommend The Mallards. My Mum has been here for several months now, and she is very well cared for. As a very frequent visitor to the home I've seen how kind, patient, caring and respectful all the staff are, nothing is ever too much trouble. The Manager is hands on, very approachable,
yet professional. Mum's room is kept spotlessly clean and the home smells fresh. There's a monthly timetable of well varied activities and relatives are invited to join in. In the summer the garden is lovely to sit in and there are fetes and parties to enjoy outside. The food is excellent and plentiful, as are the drinks and snacks. My family and myself are always warmly welcomed when we visit. It's a difficult decision to place a loved one into care, but I'm confident at The Mallards my Mum's care is excellent.

I arrived today 4/12/25 to find the residents and staff singing Christmas carols. It was lovely. The Christmas decorations were up - such a lovely, warm and happy atmosphere. All the residents engaged and many joining in with the singing. The staff encouraged everyone to join in. A lovely afternoon
- enjoyed by everyone.

Finding a suitable care home for a loved one is a very difficult decision. Lansglade House appeared to be the answer for my relative. At first all was well but as my relative's dementia slowly developed the staff at Lansglade House found them challenging. My relative's condition was not helped by the
loss of their spectacles (which were named) and which came to light only after new ones had been purchased, also one hearing aid went missing never to be seen again.
Eventually after being at Lansglade House for six months my relative was given a months notice to leave.
It is unfortunate that Lansglade House was not suitable for my relative.

My mum has resided at Henrietta House for several years and is extremely happy and settled here despite a slow decline in her overall health. My mum is very well cared for by all the staff who she calls her family and in her words, "they are all so good to me here". Mum is treated with dignity and respect
and supported to keep her independence as my mum likes to keep busy. When I take my mum out every week, as she leaves she hugs the staff on leaving and upon her return, these actions speaks volumes.
I highly recommend Henrietta Home for your loved ones to reside in a safe and caring home whereby the staff go above and beyond for their residents and families.

Our first impression of Lansglade House was that the manager was so friendly and professional and soon put us at ease. Although our mum was not keen to move, she was not able to continue to live independently. She has a lovely room and we have been able to bring her own things in to make it more like
home.
Lansglade is clean and welcoming and the staff do really get to know the residents and treat them with compassion. Mum seems much more settled now and is full of praise for the care team and always telling us how hard they work.
