The team at Lansglade were absolutely wonderful! My Aunt was cared for over and beyond what I could have hoped for, which was so reassuring when a loved one is at a vulnerable stage as my aunt was with advanced dementia. Thank you so very much!

Mum has been resident at Lansglade House Care Home for some years now and, as a family, we continue to be very grateful that a room was available to her after being discharged from hospital. She is most definitely a member of the Lansglade family and held in genuine affection by the caring, friendly and helpful staff, many of whom have been at Lansglade for many years. Despite being confined to bed now, as she nears the end of her life, she is still involved in everyday activities which are adapted to her interests and capacity. Mum is safe and content. We couldn't ask for more.

Grandad is so happy at Lansglade, the staff are really helpful and I recommend to anyone looking to move a loved one to speak to the manager and the team. Grandad loves the activities that the home provides.

I write for myself and my sister to thank you for organising the exceptional care that my brother-in-law received while in your care home. I and my sister were in confusion at the time when care homes were under consideration earlier this year. Lansglade house was offered and from the very first introduction, we knew he was in safe hands. My brother-in-law arrived with behaviour issues that must have been a challenge at the time but with the care and consideration from senior staff members and the referral to the relevant assessment teams he was managed successfully in an environment that he grew to enjoy and thrive. His progress in the home was always fully explained to the family members using non-medical language and good humour which was always appreciated. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble to any of the staff members which is highly creditable and should be recognised as the high level of training which all staff must have achieved.

My dad has been at Lansglade House for a little over two weeks now and I can honestly say he has never looked better. The staff always seem friendly, happy and eager to help when I visit His room is clean and comfortable with big windows, so bright and sunny (when it shines). He has a toilet and sink in his room and a shower room on his floor so he can be supervised when showering in case he falls. He tells me the food is very good and there's plenty of it. Lansglade have had a visit from a therapy animal group and took photos so I could talk to dad about it and the photos really prompted his memory of the visit The only negative I can think of is that dad likes very hot water for shaving and he tells me its not hot enough in his room but I guess there's a safety concern about very hot water.

Although dad was only a resident at Lansglade House for a few weeks, we cannot praise them enough for the wonderful care he received. Mum was able to relax in the knowledge that he was safe and well cared for. The manager and her staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a residential place for their relative.

I would like to thank the management and all the staff at Lansglade House for their care of my mother who has sadly passed away. Mum was very happy there and considered it her home. She made friends amongst the residents and staff. The home dealt with her physical and mental wellbeing with patience, understanding and kindness. We were always kept informed of mums ups and downs and were supported not only with mums death but also the deaths of my father and brother earlier in the year.

It's been (and still is) a tough time for care homes. What's more, the declining health of my mother is challenging. However, the staff at Lansglade are so attentive, patient and kind, that I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This is a very happy and caring home and I am delighted with the way my husband is treated. I cannot comment on the quality of the food as I haven't been there at mealtime, though my husband has said that he is satisfied with the quality of the food. He is often helping the staff with light duties which he loves doing and he asks them to give him things to do with them as well as laying tables for meals etc.

My lovely mum was watching TV when she suffered a stroke, if it wasn’t for the care and fast actions of staff I know my mum wouldn’t be alive today. The care and love is just outstanding not just for mum but for us as a family.
They truly need to be recognised for the amazing work they do and how they love and care for all the residents, they really are one big happy family.

They are simply the best.

My Aunt has been at Lansglade House since December 2018, until her passing in May 2022. I can highly recommend the love, help and support shown to her during her stay, especially in the last few weeks when her health deteriorated and she became bedbound. All the staff were so friendly and caring and communication was excellent. The home is very clean and she always had fresh sheets and her room was very tidy. All the staff went above and beyond to look after auntie so well, and it was a great comfort to know when I wasn't with her that she was left in safe hands. I can highly recommend Lansglade House, and thanks again for all the care given to my dear auntie.

Mum has been here since March, she is happy and content and settled in really quickly and I am happy knowing she is safe and well cared for. The staff are all amazing, kind, caring, friendly professionals. Every visit Mum tells me they are all lovely and I totally agree and they not only look after her but support me as well. They keep me well informed and I can call at any time to see how she is and visiting is easily organised.

Mum is in her own world but she comments on how nice the rooms and food are and she has put on weight since arriving. She is always clean, neat and tidy in appearance and loves having her nails painted. Her room which is bright and comfy is kept clean and tidy. I am so pleased my mum is here and that she is happy, it has such a homely feel to it - I couldn't ask for a better place for her. Just want to say thank you for making a hard decision so much easier.

My dad was at Lansglade for nearly 4 years with advanced dementia. I can not thank the staff enough for the wonderful care that he received. The staff are dedicated and knowledgeable.

They were so understanding of his needs and when I regularly visited dad he always looked calm and comfortable. Lansglade has a homely feel and there is always a smile and some laughter. I have every admiration for the staff and thank them for their commitment particularly through recent challenging times.

My mum has been at Langslade House Care Home since June 2021. I was so upset about looking into homes for her as there always seems to be a stigma with care homes. The manager was amazing and so empathic, she was great with Mum from the get-go and amazing with us (family members). Mum was welcomed immediately by the staff and residents and settled in really quickly. I am kept up to date with any changes or concerns and am able to speak to members of staff when I need to. They always let Mum phone home when she wants to speak to me and can always fit me in for a visit. The staff, including the manager, are genuinely caring and compassionate. I'm always sent pictures of special events and celebrations like darts afternoon, Christmas parties, quiz afternoon and St Patrick's Day and Mum is always so happy, she even had a cake on her birthday! I would definitely recommend Langslade House to anybody that is unsure about looking after their relatives. Thank you all so much, you are amazing.

From the very first meeting with management, I felt relieved and reassured that Lansglade would be the right place for Dad. As Dad's primary carer, they understood the huge step it was for me to make the difficult decision for Dad to move into a care setting and kindly and carefully guided us through the process. The most important thing for Dad now is to feel cared for, safe, and valued and this is exactly what he gets at Lansglade House. The family feel of Lansglade and the genuine care and compassion of the wonderful staff there (shown not just to Dad but to the whole family) has been and continues to be above and beyond my expectations. Dad's advanced dementia presents challenges at times and the staff handle this with skill and care, ensuring that Dad's emotional, as well as physical, needs are met, helping him feel valued, calm, happy, and entertained. I feel 100% confident that Dad is in the right place, with a fantastic team to look after him. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place for my father-in-law. He is happy and secure here.

There is a real culture of care here. I just love to see the staff having fun and laughing with the residents, and being caring if they are having difficulties.

The manager and staff go above and beyond for him. They have acted as knowledgeable and dogged advocates to ensure he gets what's in his best interest from the various services and departments involved in his complex health issues.

This is a relatively small place and feels as much like a real home as is possible. I'm so happy we have found Langslade House.

From the first day, my dad went into Lansglade House, I was confident that he would be happy there and well looked after. This has proved true, and then some... The whole team are simply fantastic, very hard-working, and professional, though with such a strong focus on care and quality of life. The staff have made every effort to understand my Dad, his history and background, to ensure they can help him in the best way possible. There have been some challenging times, which required careful liaison with external medical teams, that have been managed remarkably well. As primary carers for my Dad, they know him best and have greatly influenced medical decisions to my his benefit.

Whenever I call the House or make a visit, I'm always greeted by a smile and warmth. They always have time for a quick chat or a more lengthy discussion. I cannot thank the Manager and staff enough, and strongly recommend this home to others. Thank you!

Our mum has been at Lansglade now for quite a few months. The staff have been so caring and supportive and patient in caring for all her needs. It is so nice to have updates on how she is and the odd photo is lovely and reassuring to us. Mum loves all the meals provided for her saying herself "the meals are lovely here". All we can say is the manager and team are great and make us feel welcome. Definitely recommend Langsglade House.
